At this time jwplayer has been installed, configured and plugins has been added on drupal site. Commercial ad information configured in XML file.

Problems:
- Big white space where jwplayer should appear.

It works when adding video on an article page, but not the video pages on our website.

–Commercial isn’t playing prior to the video is still not showing up on the video pages in the channels of our page.

I contacted Longtail support for jwplayer and they identified the cause of both problems. Please see attachment.

Please note that at the end of the completion of this project, we expect that we will be able to go to our website. Add a video on the video page of our website and see our video playing via the Jwplayer.
In addition, we should see an ad with play the video button. Then, when you play the video, the commercial runs first then the actual video.

We are like 75-80% to completion, so we need someone that really knows drupal and is familiar with jwplayer or at least working with xml and .js files.

I am creating a wordpress video and photo gallery and would like to use YoxView (http://www.yoxigen.com/yoxview/) in conjunction with JWplayer.

I am totally open to other solutions if you have a better one that has ALL of the features of YoxView.

we use jwplayer 5 and are wanting to count how many times mp3 files are played. i will have a php script that i need this event to call that will send over 2 peaces of information. example will be file.php?cid=112&sid=234

when a user clicks the play button i need it to call my php file. i dont care if its done with the get like i posted above or if its done with a post.

if you want to do the database insert that is fine. all my php file is going to do is insert the info into a table in my database.

i know jwplayer handles a onplay event but not sure how to do it.

I need to hire someone familiar with JWPlayer or Flash
programming to make a customization for us. This may be
a very simple job. It SEEMS simple, but not being a
Flash programmer, I’m not finding the right place in the
code to do it.

This will probably be done as a customization to JWPlayer,
but other methods of achieving the same goal, like using a
different but similar player, are acceptable.

Essentially we need to add a function to process the bytes
in the video as it’s downloaded. The function itself is
simple and that can be discussed later. The part I’m
having trouble seeing how to do is to “get at” the video data.

Perhaps something like this pseudo code:

The “dosomething” function will be just a few lines, at least

I think livevideo has changed their system at the moment and added sessions or token. I need it to work again in JWPlayer. Until today we could use a direct FLV (without token).

You will need to make a fetcher to make it work again.
