Windows Desktop Widget – Using 37signals – Journal

December 31st, 2011 Comments off

Hi – I’m trying to do this: http://37signals.blogs.com/products/2008/05/dashboard-widge.html

But for my internal team. I would need it to reside on everyone’s desktop, where they could post their updates, and then click a button to expand to see the whole workflow for our team (similar to this: http://screencast.com/t/UUsxzSeYhn )

This should be a pretty simple widget for someone with experience. Please post screenshots of other widgets you have done.

Thanks

Develop platform where multiple users can register and create their own blog with a tagging system.

Indexing and Search for the blogs is done via Tags and categories through the site and we can sort the results through “Latest” “Most Popular” and “Date”

User will have the ability to register on the website by creating an account on their own sub-domain. After registration is complete, we need an email verification system with token link so the users verified their email address before they can login to the site.

App Developer Needed

September 22nd, 2011 Comments off

We are a company looking to develop an app. below you’ll find our spec. ideas

The app is a digital version of a card product soon to be launched.
This is a deck of generically put “divination cards”
where there are 44 cards each representing a different explanation.
The theme is highway/traffic signs.

The idea for the app is that beyond a menu screen the primary function would be:
1. to swipe your finger to start moving a simply animated car down a
road with road signs representing the cards on either side of the
road. in a quick motion blurred manner.

2.The user would tap the screen to end the sequence resulting in the
car randomly stopping next to one of the signs. The sign would then
animate to a card and be the primary focus of the screen and would
have the explanation of the sign on the card. The card could then be
tapped to have an animation of the sign/card being flipped over to
have the deeper meaning of the card.
It would be very important that the sign selection be random and NOT
have all the cards cycled through before a previously selected card
can be selected again. It is very important that the selection be
random save the element of the user stopping the blurry road sequence.

Other features that we’d like to incorporate. (if the cost if feasible)
1. A journal function.

Script For Daily Journal On Joomla Panacea Website

September 9th, 2011 Comments off

Hi,

We require development of a secure, password protected, daily private journal page called ‘Morning Pages’ for a Joomla Panacea site. Need:

-A running word count, messages to acknowledge once 750 words-three pages– is reached.

-Ongoing tracking of the number of days when writing Morning pages is completed.

-There needs to be a calendar on the page tracking days of the month the journal was written that is clearly visible to track the writers progress and which days writing was completed.

-The ability to copy and paste into other blogs or word programs.

-No editing Morning Pages after the date has passed.

-Medals or reward points accumulated for specific achievements of writing goals.

See 750words.com and Penzu.com for examples of other sites we like, especially the badge program and monthly challenges and layout of 750words.com. We do not want it to look like a Blog, so full page, no tags or options to publish etc.

The website currently uses MyBlog for public blogs that users wish to post to the site. That must run as a separate entity to avoid private journals being published publicly!

We would like a quick turnaround so that we can get the site launched soon.

Thanks.

Workout Logs

July 6th, 2011 Comments off

I am looking for a 90 day workout journal with 5 workout days and 2 days of rest. The workouts are broken down into sections as follows:

Upper Body Day 1
Lower Body Day 3
Full Body Day 5
Metabolic Conditioning (METCON) or better known as “Cardio”, Days 2 & 4 (Including, but not limited to running, rowing, biking, burpees, mountain climbers, jumping pull-ups)

The journal will have a comprehensive list of exercises for each section at the beginning so the users have an idea as to how to change their workouts every week. Almost like a cut and paste format.

All the upper, lower and full body exercises have to be functional movements with NO use of machines. Kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells, sandbags, tires, sledge hammers, gymnastic movements will be the basis for the workout journal.

This will be in an ebook format and will need a cover as well.

Thank you!

I will only escrow with Script lance. I will deposit 100% of winning bid, if I have worked with programmer before then will make exceptions. Don’t bid on project unless you can do exactly what I have taken the time to write up. Thank You! happy bidding!

Bibliography

November 2nd, 2009 Comments off

Hi,

Here is the project I want you to do. I will attach sample. Please respond only if you can do it and you should provide me with atleast one sample of your previous work. I will attach the sample of the bibliography project for reference only.

Project:

Prepare a three to four page list (thirty to fifty sources) of scholarly journal articles that relate to your research question (Note: You can come up with one research topic). These should be listed following the APA Publication Manual, 5th Edition. You need to ensure that you are using scholarly, peer reviewed journals for you reference list. You need to visit the section of Webliography that covers the differentiation of peer reviewed/scholarly journals from other sources. Be sure to include journals that present multiple sides of the questions, both pro and con. You should plan on having three to four pages of journals in your bibliography. These will be graded on your adherence to APA Style, utilization of peer reviewed journals, and the adequacy with which they fairly represent the views on the subject.

If you use the Library databases, you can usually check a box in the search criteria to get scholarly results. You can also check the information on the journal to see if it is a scholarly journal, a trade journal, or a popular press publication. You may use up to 10% from non-scholarly sources. Books are not considered to be scholarly sources for this class. It is not that they are not important sources, but they don’t usually go through the peer review process and are generally based on older information.

. Use the Bibliography Sample in order to see how you should form your paper.

Journal/research Paper Writeup

March 27th, 2009 No comments

Hi all,

I need to write up a paper for the purposes of a journal. The work is of mathematical nature and deals with computing science. Specifically, it is based on using algorithms of local search nature along with genetic algorithm to solve constrained problems. I already have all details, I just need a competent writer with actual journal publications to write a basic 8-10 page paper. I intend to take this project step by step.

Please let me know asap. It is urgent so please let me know asap. We need to proceed asap. The work is a bit technical, but a decent writer with computing background should easily produce this.

Bear
