My Joomla site just shows a blank white page. I think an update is needed but I’m not sure.

The job consists of an update of an existing Joomla! 1.5 site to 1.6, installing a template that I have picked out.

I have an attached document that i would like implimented on my Joomla 1.5 website. All changes to be made asap and also many of the pages are hardcoded, so i need this changed to Joomla basic code. Thanks
