I need to have the “slideshow” component repaired for my Joomla 1.7 site. It was working with 1.5, but no longer works. I need to be able to manage the content in the slideshow component, by adding images and text at any time.
You must have Joomla v1.7 experience.

I have a Joomla slideshow module that pull images from set directories. The problem is that it is too slow. It seems to be loading multiple images before it shows one. I need the first image to show right away before fetching the next one.
