Now, when you click the joke Financial Trouble you are taken to: http://www.jokes-cartoons.com/joke/954-financial-trouble.html

This is where the error occurs. The joke does not apperar

The same thing happens in the Funny Cartoons categories.

I suspect this to be a htaccess problem as there has been some trouble with this but, you are the pros:)

I’m an honors college student that has a patent-pending/copyrighted idea for a new social networking website that will have all the features of facebook and a couple additional ones that I cannot disclose. I am seeking companies that can build such a site via work agreement and I own everything when your work is done, money is not a problem but my time is-

I’m currently searching for rough quotes on how much and how long it would cost/take to build such a site from scratch. Currently I recieved a quote for 100k from a professor at my college and 85k from a company out of Boston. The investors I’m working with want more that the initial quote from my professor I had given them- they want 4 or 5 quotes.

This will be a mobile app for Iphone and android

This app will allow the person who buys it to view jokes and weekly photo’s on their mobile phone.

The following will explain each item:

Daily Joke: calls a web url to get joke text as XML.( I will provide URL)
Jokes submitted this Month : calls web url to get joke text as XML( I will provide URL)
read jokes by month : Allow user to pick month and year and then it should calls web
url passing the selected date to get joke text as XML ( I will provide URL)
daily Photo : calls web url to get image ( I will provide URL)
daily Comic : calls web url to get image( I will provide URL)
daily flashback : calls web url to get image( I will provide URL)

The joke contents are in the Farsi font. The app should show the joke in the
Farsi font. You have the choice of 2 ways of doing this.

You could either

1-Display using Farsi font.I have the Farsi font file used so you can use it to show the font in the
app.

Or

2-Show image of font.I have each letter of the Farsi alphabet parsed as an individual image. I
have written a small function that reads the
phonetic letter and will construct the text 1 image at a time. Final output
will be a string of images that when put together will show up as Farsi
text. An example of this can be seen on
http://www.jokestan.net/daily/farsijotd.asp On the server, the page takes
all the Farsi font content and it is constructed and displayed using a
series of small gif images. This way the viewer does not have to download
and install the font to see the Farsi font. If you view the html of the
page you can see the joke is actually a string of <img src..> tied together.

. The app will have a small area to show advertisements on all
screens. Should have a flag so I can switch between my own personal ads or
ad agencies such as medialets.com or admob.com. If my own ad, it would read
ad image and url the same way as the joke content is displayed with URL
going to advertisers URL.

The app needs to incorporate the free tracking from
(http://www.pinchmedia.com)

I have a joke database with a pretty straightforward setup. Somehow my “view joke” and “view category” (ie – blonde jokes etc.) pages stopped working correctly, and I simply need a couple basic queries to toss into my template so that the correct content appears.

Possibly due to some heavy customization before, but for this project, all the side stuff (built in on-the-fly meta keywords etc) don’t really matter as the most important thing is, of course, getting the page to simply show the appropriate joke or category info. As it stands right now, the template looks fine, but the space where the joke should be appearing is simply blank.

Should be a breeze for any PHP and MySQL pro.

I need a audio joke rating script, not text but audio.
People will upload and download audio joke in mp3. It will be in about 14 languages and people will search joke by world country, not by languages. It will have forum, sign-up and tell a friend and any other good thing you might know.
