We are looking for skilled developers who can make a clone of two sites: manta dot com and jigsaw dot com and put the into one. There are some modifications we will introduce of course.
Base Requirements:
1. Fully functional admin panel with support for multiple administrators.
2. Easy way of adding/modifying banners, sponsored ads and google/yahoo ads from admin panel.
3. Smart way of gather statistic for the most active poster/users.
4. Easy and intuitive design.
5. Integrated mailing/subscription system.
6. Must be template based so different layouts can be used (smarty or similar?)
7. Mailing list module with newsletters and mass emailing
8. Ability to create multiple levels of membership with features that can be added or removed from each type of membership
9. Preferably use of major CMS platform such as Joomla! or equivalent
10. Use of open source software is encouraged to keep project price down
11. Ability to handle unlimited amount of users

We would like to work only with people who understand deadline requirements, communicate well, and can deliver a problem-free script. If you don’t have an experience with any of these applications or don’t have resource to work on this project, do not submit bids. Progress report must be expected and a norm for your organization. Ideally we would like to see the progress online as the application is being developed. There will be continuation of the project with tweaking and mods to the complete site.

The project encompasses the creation of several online services broken down into the following areas/modules.
1. Business research database: this module would provide business information and marketing solutions, which consists of data processing and database management. It would offer a free profiles on on U.S. and foreign companies and industries.
Ideally this would utilize a vertical search engine focused on people, companies, and the relationships between them so it will be using the publicly available information from web as its source to automatically create professionally-focused summaries of the companies it finds.

2. Online collaboration of sales and marketing professionals: Portion the database described in item 1 would be built, maintained and shared by subscribers. It would allow members to exchange and share the business information, contacts and companies. The main emphasis is PORTION of the database; the main information will not be editable by users but only by administrators; the user will be able to update or add critical information and earn points so he/she can access similar data on another company.
Please don’t confuse this with user contributed content found in Manta dot com. Contribution posted there will be publicly visible by all registered members; information in item 2 will be only visible to a user who made this contribution and used as a leverage to trade with other users, so this portion (module) of the project is continually updated by its members and/or administrators. This module will act as a virtual business card, offering name, title, postal and email addresses and phone numbers for individual contacts.

3. CRM module. This would be a very basic contact management module that is preferably based on open source script such as VTiger or others. User will have ability to copy researched company in module 1 or module 2 to this CRM module. It will also have an option to import users database from major data formats or a text file.
