Our target audience are from a wide verity of ethnically displaced minorities. They had also bought into the whole political propaganda that had been sold to all the sub-Sahara African during the colonial era’s by the westerners. Today, we of this present generation are motivated to use the available resources within our means in encoring our brother and sister, so that we could CHANGE that mind set that was intended to down grade our cultural heritage.

In life, if one keeps running after someone else, they will always be behind that person. But, anyone who wants to dictate their own pace, has to initiate their own race. Rather than feeling alienated from the opportunities of inequalities, it is wiser to embrace ones indigenous origin.

We need a skilled front-end developer to help us create 2 html templates for a directory website.

The directory website will be created using WordPress.

The first template will be for the home page and will require a simple grid structure that can be inserted into a wordpress page template. A sample image is attached. We will also need to have some work on the header and navigation (customizing the wordpress header area to match our design.

The other template will be an iframe html page that links back to the directory home page. The page will contain a top frame and a bottom frame.

The top frame will contain a custom navigation toolbar that allows the viewer to browse and load new sites into the bottom frame.

The custom toolbar will require javascript skills to hide/reveal the thumbnail panel (pushing the bottom iframe down) and also scroll the thumbnails if the panel exceeds 8 thumbnails.

Also, the iframe toolbar buttons and thumbnails will have on/off states as well as the ability to display a specified number of buttons with url links to load in the bottom frame.

The templates should be easily modified and the code should be well documented if the look and feel needs to be changed. Also, the number of sites both in the home page grid and the toolbar should be able to grow or shrink between 6 – 12 numbers.

The site must be Mac and PC compliant across all standard browers (IE7+, FF, Safari). PSD files will be provided and a website directory will be set up for this project.

Uncomplex CSS site needs to be examined in different browsers for bugs and display issues (including IE6 through current IE) on a PC and Mac and CSS code corrected accordingly. A particular problem with this site involves a page in which a WordPress blog page is imported into a containing div which works on a Mac but is not visible on a PC in IE, etc.
In addition to this site, I have a number of others that will require the same attention to CSS bugs after this project is completed.

1. The site is a little off in IE6 I need it to look like it does in Firefox
2. The font in the menu in my firefox is 2 small. I need it slightly bigger without changing the size of it in IE6
