Website Banner

January 5th, 2010

Looking for someone to place an image slider using CU3ER (see http://www.progressivered.com/cu3er/ ) in a clients website.

We require this on one page only – on the index home page.

The site is currently built in html and uses css.

We have about 5 images which we wish to place in the image slider using the same effect which you see on the CU3ER site in a timed sequence. We hope that there is flexibility in the software and code to add further images later down the track.

Simple job which we can award straight away for the right person if the price is right otherwise we will look at a different option.

Change Css To Static Template

October 1st, 2009

I had a website template built for me but it was designed using CSS. I don’t know too much about CSS so I can’t easily change anything on it.

So what I’d like is someone to take the template and change it to “static html” with all the style attributes hard coded built right into the index page.

Then I also have this captcha form on the the page that I need someone to test out and get it working for me. The form works fine on it’s own, but I need it integrated into the template, tested, and working.

After this job I’ll have another job for you involving this template as well if you’re interested.

Hello

I need to start a website from zero with some functionalities that might sound demanding for a regular web developer. That’s why I am not looking for a designer but an engineer. Also, I’m not looking for a 3rd party or a company but for a low cost solution.

Here is what I need:
1. template customization (html template monster would do)
2. company logo (i might refuse 3 or 4 if inappropriate)
3. database:
- 3.1 – several packages of services will be available: prepaid packages of 5-10-20-50hours, monthly/anual plans and pay-as-you-go plans
- 3.2 – there will be online counters (hours/minutes)on each customer account for the prepaid and pay-as-you-go packages. there will be a billing system on the monthly/annual plans to generate periodic invoices and mark them as paid when confirmed
- 3.3 – prepaid packages will be available for purchase online. on monthly and annual plans billing will depend on bank reports for acknowledging payments
- 3.4 – an admin page will allow the administrator to create and confirm accounts, allocate plans, mark hours and minutes as consumed for customers with prepaid or pay-as-you-go packages
- 3.5 – each customer will have one account but each account may have several users. users must authentify themselves individually but be able to consume hours from the same customer account. the monthly report should show who used what
5. online support must be integrated according to the website color scheme as a web chat
6. a small version of the website should be available on request of mobile browsers

Need Igoogle Gadget Xml File

July 28th, 2009

I’m working with a company that needs a iGoogle gadget written in XML.

They currently have a customizable JavaScript widget building page that allows publishers (affiliates) to easily customize the widget’s colors, text, suggested search terms, and size, and insert the widget onto their websites (for referral commissions).

The widget allows users to search for items, and after submitting the search query on the widget, the users are taken to a new window with items for sale displayed with the publisher’s affiliate link embedded in the page’s code.

I need to convert this widget to XML and be able to customize it the same way I can in the current javascript/html form.

This shouldn’t be too hard for a good programmer, as the framework for what I need is already there (and obviously will be provided). I just need it available and customizable in a Google-friendly format, which is XML.

Questions? Just ask.

Countdown Clock For Sales Page

July 26th, 2009

Hi,

I want a countdown clock at the top of my sales page, and when it runs out I want it to redirect to another page. Instead of relying on cookies I’d rather it logs the ip address, or something more watertight than just a cookie.

The site is to do with male enhancement.

All the best,
Tim

Javascript Slideshow Feature

July 16th, 2009

I require the services of a web programmer to clone a slideshow feature. The exact feature I would like to clone can be found on the index page of www.ea dot com (the big image feature at the top right of the home page).

To describe what I am looking for:

A large image at the top, with a band at the bottom for six thumbnail images.
When a thumbnail image is active, that image is shown as the large image.
At the same time a rectangular, semi transparent, overlay containing text (a title, and a brief description) and a button, related to the image should be shown.
Moreover, I need the images to cycle automatically, yet at the same time for the user to be able to select a specific image and overlay by clicking the relevant thumbnail image.
It is also very important, that the relevant thumbnail image is highlighted when the related main image is on display.
Finally, I also need to duplicate the overlay feature on the thumbnail images, where mouse_over causes the overlay to expand allowing the more of the title to be seen.

Hence, I am looking to duplicate the feature contained on the ea website; a carbon copy.

I need this feature to be done in javascript (with the small amount of html, CSS required), and it must also be cross browser compatible.

I have a number of projects similar to this, so there is the potential for later business.

My budget is limited for this small particular project; bids significantly outside of the budget will be ignored.

Payment is in escrow.

Extract Data From Adobe Flash

May 12th, 2009

A website displays data through Adobe Flash player 10 and the lines of text move from bottom to top. One line come, stays for some time, and then the next set comes. It uses secure connection of https, and the connection to server is encrypted.

I want a program that reads that data and sends its output in some text form. Regarding output format, I myself am not sure, but I can be flexible according to the ease of programmer, like notepad, word or anything else.

If there is some possibility, then I can give my username/password to the interested programmer to check it.

Automotive Website Design Need

April 21st, 2009

We are an auctioneer firm that needs a website developed to give us a global edge for our clients. Currently, we remarket and sell automotive vehicles, commercial equipment, and mobility products for banks, dealers and finance companies. Our goal is integrate this inventory on a national level via Ebaymotors.com. Simply put, instead of having an actual auctioneer auction our bank inventory in a traditional format, we would like to post the units on our website with a series of pictures, details and descriptions but have a link for all prospective bidders to bid through ebaymotors.com. In addition, the site needs to have some sort of streaming video or virtual test-drive feature that potential bidders can click or view the unit in a 360 virtual format. If they are interested in “making an offer they can hit a button to submit or simply hit a link that says bid now which will take them to the actual auction on ebay.com

We need a very simple but professional website that has the entire auction inventory posted on the main page. It would be nice to have a section that says coming to auction soon or currently at auction that way bidders could have the option to view units now or look at upcoming auctions. The site does not have to be fancy or have 25 pages of info.

Being we do not know that much about digital media for websites nor how to make such a site, we will let the winner of this contract have free rain to build it how they see fit. Please feel free to email with any questions. We do have the domain named in use of www.icantbelievetheprice.com with a test site which is a complete mess….LOL…. Thanks

Igoogle Gadget Required

March 30th, 2009

Hi I’m Simon the webmaster of FreeMagicTricks4u.com a website teaching magic tricks to enthusiasts.

I am looking to get a Google Gadget created to first and foremost promote my magic trick tutorial videos. Possible one after another or one per day.

This is the need at it’s most basic but I would also like to include these options depending on cost and whether it is actually “dooable”.

1. Stream my tutorials – (either from YouTube or my self hosted videos)
2. Second tab on the gadget to stream my RSS feed
3. Third tab to show a card trick (all that is needed on this page is a static page with a scroll bar)
4. Final tab to be a sign up box to my newsletter

Finally I would like a banner advert running along the bottom of the gadget, this would promote my products or show Google ads etc.

If streaming video is too complex to achieve I guess I could have static images of each trick, one per day which then links back to my site. Ideas welcomed!

There are a couple of similar Magic Trick Google gadgets out there but they do not seem to be working properly and/or maintained.

Obviously the winning bidder should have previous experience in creating Google Gadgets which I would need to see.

Any graphics needed will be supplied by me. Please have a look at the attached brief to get a better idea of what I am after.

When bidding on this project please give a detailed break down on what your bid actually includes. eg streaming video or static images, all tabs one tab etc, so I can compare bids like for like.

Thanks in advance!
