Program must connect to our voip system for voip calls (in and out), we assign a number when new client signs up…must have address book with call/sms option for each contact, address book should include email address, Mobile Number, Home Number, Work Number, Name, Address etc. For connecting to our voip system, this must be editable but not by end user…with phone number, voip server address, username is phone number, password is defined by the system…user should only need to enter once and information (username and password) is automatically saved.

We’re running an Open Source Project so please be aware that after this project is complete the code will be free and Open Source. Also, we want to keep track of progress of this project via a GIT repository so you must be able to use one.

That said here’s what this project entails:
1. This J2ME App will interact with a WEB app via API.
2. The app allows the user to SYNC items from the web app via API and save them on the phone. The user will then be able to view these items on a Map.
3. The user can also post an item back to the API (Specified fields).
4. Items are grouped into specific categories defined by the API – meaning that the APP will first have to sync up the categories from the API then pull the items.
5. In the settings the user should be able to add new website addresses (example: http://www.website1.com, http://www.website2.com) – and then depending on which website is selected, the phone will interact with that websites api and pull its items and categories. Therefore items saved on the phone will be attached to a specific instance (website) each of which uses the same API.
6. We will provide any necessary graphics – most of which have been done.

Hi my project mainly needs serial communication for j2me midlet to communicate with pbasic language serial communication.

I have attached 2 j2me codes for the 2 mobile phone, currently do not have the pbasic code. both are not completed and serial communication is not done yet.
i am using netbeans for my j2me codes. the BTManager code is the one that is suppose to communicate with the bluetooth module.

the scenario is as follows:
- the fall of an elderly needs to be known to the caregiver, and the caregiver needs to reset the bluetooth mod to stop it from transmitting the signal by sending a sms to the elderly mobile, then the elderly mobile will auto send a bluetooth signal to the microchip that is connected to the bluetooth mod to stop it.

- bluetooth mod needs to get activated upon some detection, it will send a bluetooth signal to the 1st mobile phone(elderly’s)
- upon receiving the bluetooth signal, the elderly’s mobile will then send a sms to the caregiver’s mobile to notify
- the caregiver will send back a sms to the elderly mobile to “reset the system”
- there will be other additional functions as well
