I am owner of the SEO forum http://goo.gl/LN1cw which is running on IPB 3. This forum is in Georgian language, Unicode. I want to upgrade this forum with a new theme and functions/modifications.

Functions / Modifications (Sample screenshots are attached)

1.The forum should support Georgian language (Posting / Replying / unicode URLs).
2.Free SEO mod (Meta keywords / description, sitemaps and more

We need a true IPB expert who can help us upgrade our forum software.

We want it to work with the current skin and other design elements.

For this project we need to:

1. Upgrade our IPB version to from 2.3.1 to 3.1.
2. There are two big goals:
a. more fully integrate other social media like FB and Twitter and Google+ as quickly as possible.
b. maintain our current look and feel.

Once this upgrade is complete, this could turn into an ongoing project adding features and mods and generally serving as our IPB expert.

This is an extremely critical project, so I’d like to see 1 or 2 examples of forums you have worked on.

There are 2 Requirements.

I have a forum (IPB 3.1.4) that I wish to require ALL members to enter valid information in (2 or 3) custom profile fields.

When a new member is registering, this is an easy task, as the member cannot sign up without entering the required data. However there are over 1000 members who are already registered and have never been asked to provide this information.

The requirement is to provide an interface to the user, so that when anyone logs into my board (all members must log in to view the board already) if certain custom profile fields are NOT complete, a form appears for them to enter the correct info.

The user must not be allowed to get anywhere else on the forum until they have entered the required information.

Requirement 2.

Very similar to number one. I shall be creating 10 user groups on my forums. These will be used as SECONDARY member groups only for my members.

I would like to allow my members to select which group they belong to by themselves. Once they select the group, their member details in the database: ibf_members.mgroup_others gets updated correctly.

Again this is compulsory information, and if not selected, the forums should not let the user go anywhere else until it is completed. The member should also be able to update this whenever they need to.

All secondary member groups will have an id number GREATER than 20. All groups with ID’s less than 20 should not be presented to the user.

Not knowing as much about ipb 3 as I did ipb2, I’m not sure if the following makes sense:

Can this also be done using a hook as opposed to a lot of main php file edits, the main reason for this is to help ease of upgrade for the future. If not, then I shall live with it.

I am looking for an experienced programmer to create for me a Vbulletin AND IPB (invision power board) private messaging spamming software.

IPB SPECS for the software

1 it must work with BOTH 2x.xx and 3x.xx versions of IPB forum software (very improtant as each members page on versions2/3 are displayed differently so it must work to combat this)
2 Have proxy support (HTTP , socks 4.5)
1. multi thread support of up to 5 accounts that login at once (with a few seconds wait time between each login to avoid crashing the forum)
2. proxy support (http, Socks4.5)
3. message save support( get a list of messages to send out)
4. determine limits for private messages set by the forum (time between each message, and to how many users we can send each message)
5. message statistics( how many sent, per time etc)
6. Forums management. (so that you can list forums, save, import, edit, add…)

another EG If theres Catchpa addon installed and required to complete to send each message, it will allow me to manually enter it and then continue on sending the message.

10. Vbulletin sometimes requires you to wait 60 seconds between sending pms, so if this is the case I should be able to enter ’60′ in the seconds option for it to do so in sending the pms.

Please take a look at this software, we want to create something similar, just better, but with less forum engines, only IPB and vbulletin.

The IPB search feature is broken when choosing “Display as posts” instead of display as topics. Display as posts will only display the first post on each page of the results, so alot of posts are missing. For example, if a member made 50 posts and we are searching to display all their posts – 5 pages of 1 post each page are displayed rather than 5 pages of 10 posts each. I need someone to fix this problem.

I want all IPB forum user groups to be able EDIT their topic, which will contain a video livestream link. I want them to declare the stream ‘ONLINE’ or ‘OFFLINE’ by editing their post.

This should appear inside the post, and when you visit the category.

The online or offline should be defined with an image which i can supply.

I just need the data sorted by user ID, last visit & page indexed, deletable by checkbox, and to be able to attach a note (enter text into database table) for common fields such as IP address.

You have to:
- Upgrade IPB to 3.0.4 without loosing any data(members,posts,threads)
- Install a new version of the skin (I have the compatible skin for 3.0.4, you only need to install it)
- Make few customizations like adding 4 ad spaces (header,footer,sidebar)
- Make sure everything works smoothly after upgrade

I own a forum for bulgarian freelancers. I’m upgrading from IPB 2.3.6 to IPB 3 and the skin is different, so I’ll need a new logo and a header.

The header – I want it as big as the current one. It should contain the logo at the left, then something as BGF Forum, and below – Bulgarian Forum for Freelancers…You can use any other text that you think it’s suitable…

The logo – Must be simple, you can use a combination of letters BGFF or something as a symbol…

The colors of both the logo and the header must match the current skin.

Send me your brief ideas and samples of the logo and the header…If you can make it in vector format, it would be good.

I am looking for a capable programmer/developer who has experience with both the Invision Power Board and Vanilla forum softwares, and whom is capable in generating a script for us to use to migrate data from one to another.

We currently operate an IPB forum. We are looking to migrate from IPB to Vanilla.

All we are looking to migrate are the user accounts (IPB member accounts – usernames and post counts only) and all topics/threads within the forums, exported from IPB and then imported into Vanilla.

We do NOT require Profile data (avatars, bios, personal website url’s etc.), polls, attachments etc.

I understand that keeping the user account passwords within IPB is not possible when migrating due to encryption, but I will need to provide members with an option to reset their password in Vanilla when the migration is complete (I believe this should happen naturally once migration is complete, however).

A few years ago someone had a working script to do this (as well as step by step instructions) – This is available at the following URL:

This script and instructions no longer work, but I gather will provide a platform for someone to start.

We are using the latest relese of IPB (IPB 3) and we will want to use the latest version of Vanilla (http://vanillaforums.org/)

I will need will to see a working example of the script prior to releasing any monies.

Update the FusionRegistry module so it will work with Invisionboard 3.02. You MUST have an Invisionboard license to do this. It is open source so please comment your changes. Also, your work will be made public. You can find the code at Google’s open source repository or the fusionscripts website. You may want to review it before pricing since this might be more or less difficult. Depending on the cost and quality of the work there may be follow-on modification work.

I am looking for a chat room for my IPB 3.0, one that would integrate with our user groups, log on, etc. I am hoping we could get one like flashchat or flasherize, and with a whose chatting hook.

I need a mod that allows members to upload videos to be streamed in their post (similar to zshare) and also an image uploader that gives members a clean html code for embeding (similar to imagebam.com). Within each members profile should be a list of neatly displayed videos and pictures that were uploaded by them. To ensure background processes wont run wildly you must know how to manage the encoding processes in windows, have a windows testing environment and you must be familiar with Invision Power board Forums.

Files should be uploaded in the area when starting a topic/making a post and I want a separate component area to publicly view uploaded pictures and videos but I would like this feature to be for members only and restricted to guest. In profile view their should be thumbnails of pictures/videos uploaded by that member(exactly like rude.com). I also want to give members the ability to download uploaded videos like zshare and the ability to add videos to their favorites also like rude.com. All uploaded videos should be converted to wmv to preserve space. I want the uploading system to be only available through certain sections of the forum. A little under 2 weeks would be good for the completion of this project.

Here are some key features the image uploader should have. Most are features used on imagebam.com
1) multi-file upload option

3) ZIP upload that unzips after upload
4) thumbnail creation of all uploaded files (images)

That represents an interesting situation since now my members have a photo for their account, however potentially a different one as their avatar in the forums. So my question is this…

How could I modify the IPB code, to pull the image used as avatars, from a different table/row in the database which contains the profile photo within the social networking application? (Both IPB and the social networking application are in the same database).
