Insurance Agency Logo

January 18th, 2010 Comments off

My client needs a logo for her new insurance agency.

First and foremost, I will not select a bid from a designer that does not provide a mockup. If you bid and then post a generic message on the message board, I will simply remove your bid. Scriptlance is becoming inundated with designers who throw 100s of designs at you rather than a simple mockup of your design.

The agency is called “Stephani Crall Insurance Agency” – the design should be elegant and professional. I envision a script font “SC” and some nice type. Please do not send me a premade logo.

Insurance Agency Website

We need a web designer to create our site that is knowledgable in ASP for our quote engine. Our site is partially complete- www.thelakeinc.com but has much room for improvement.
We use a company called QuoteBurst to process our online quotes. They require ASP for transmission to their database which our current designer does not know how to do. Therefore, we will not be working with her anymore. Since she could not figure this out, she linked from our site to quoteburst to process the quote. Go go our site and click ‘get a quote’ or “renter’s quote” to see the quoting site. Hovever, we want the quote engine to be fully integrated on our site. we do not want it to have to link to the quoteburst site-http://www.bestinsuranceweb.com/thelakeinc It is extremely important that this be completed within 14 days.

Quoteburst has given me these instructions to complete the task-I have attached the files you need and outlined the steps below you need to complete on your to complete the integration.

Steps you need to complete on your side:
You need to rename the quoteProcess.asp.txt to quoteProcess.asp
Edit the Response.Redirect at the bottom of the quoteProcess.asp page
It is highly recommended you check the values returned from the XML Post page. If you look at the bottom of the asp page, there are 3 different methods you can use to check the return values and errors. It is up to you how you perform the error checking.
You need to put the agent’s a0 number into the AgentID field in your html page. This is how we tie leads to agents.
You need to provide a Unique Lead ID for our database. I have this information coming from a text field on your page named ID, but you can change this. You will need to either create a counter and use that or create a unique id based on a time stamp. Either way, this need to be done in your HTML page.
Then upload both the quoteProcess.asp and the XMLPost.txt files to your server. These should be in the same folder as the quote page.
I have these attachment to send if you need to look at them.
