Change Liferay-core

February 2nd, 2010 Comments off

For a project need some changes of the liferay – core implentation.
For this reasy we search any partner, for further projects too, which have much expirience in liferay – development.

First project will be to change to core of liferay in this way, that it will be possible to delete any instances of liferay. For the moment its only possible to add new portal instances. For our needs it should be possible to delete any portal instances that we could rent any portal instances to any customer.

A further project will be ti change the user-system that way, that only our company could see the server-section in the controll-panel. For the moment, the serversection every admin see it, altought only one admin could use it. For my reason only the main-administrator should see this section. Our idea is, to share any portalinstances of liferay to customer, that way, that they could create theiy own website with the application and add their own templates.
Then we should have the possibility to limit the diskspace per portal instance. So that we could rent for example a portal with 10mb diskspace for 5$ 50mb for 10$ and further. So we could rent many instances with only one server.

I didnt know if this descripton is clear enought. If not please contact me. And the price for this project is only for the possibility to remove any instances. The second paragraph is more what we need further. I will write for this new posts.

I hope you understand the descirption althought the englisch is not the best one.

Cheers

Setup Centos Mail Server

January 11th, 2010 Comments off

We want to setup dedicated centos servers as mail servers.
we use a php mail script combined with postfix MTA.

we have multiple postfix instances each one binds to a particular static IP address.

The dedicated server gives the possibiliy to have till 256 IPS. We are adding 30 IPS eachmonth wich means we have to setup 30 postfix instances eachmonth.

The php mail script sends thru the default postfix path mentioned in php.ini

To setup the server correctly the following tasks should be done:
1 Install the php mailing software
2 Install postfix 2.6 rpm
3 Create FTP access for the primary domain name
4 Add all the domain names to the server
5 Create MX record for each domain/IP
6 Creating IP resolve/domain
7 Add a postfix instance that binds to every ip address
8 Postfix configuration(Add the postfix configuration to all postfix instances)
9 Add spf records domainkeys for every domain name
10 Add a code in the .htaccess script in the server home directory
11 optimize php.ini and my.cnf
12 create an html accessibale page on the server in wich a chart or table lists the IP address, the corresponding domain name and the corresponding postfix instance name.
13 create a bounce management system: all hard and bounce emails gathered from postfix logfile should be placed into a table and tell postfix to never send to those emails without affecting the sending speed
14 Every month 30 aditional IPS and 30 other domains will be added on the same server: all postfix new instances, ip/domains mx and A records should be added spf records and domain keys html webpage chart update should take effect
15 List Management system, lists are received on csv files that contain columns and lines, in columns we find email addresses, zip code or ip address and or date stamp or registration and aslo first and last names. We receive everyday update list file of recent subscribers. we need a fast way to add them to the main list and integrate them to the php software
16 Offers management system. Offers are usualy an html code. A redirection should be made to every link and images should be placed into our server.
17 create a page interface that shows on time statistics and info from the postfix log file for all instances: number of email injected to the queue and the corresponding send, bounced, deferred and timed out. EXAMPLE: emails injected 100000. SENT 80000 bounced 10000 deferred 5000 timed out 5000
18 Increase deliverability (IP lookup, avoid blacklists…..)
19 IP management system(negociate with server provider to give us different IP addrsses classes, and setup the correspondant postfix instances for each IP address
20 every month 30 IPS and 30 new domains are added (ensure the 30 domains names are added to the server instal all necessary elements (spf records, domainkeys, new MX records, A rercords; postfix instances…)
—————
How sendings are made:
offers are sent to yahoo, gmail, verizon, comcast,sbcglobal,cox.net separetly

- first tests our made to ensure that the message will be delivered and not rejected (sent status is checked in portfix log)
- in php.ini we mention the first postfix instance will be used as MTA path, then we go to the php script and we put any from dimain from name and text body and we send the test. If it’s rejected from yahoo for example we change the postfux instance path in php.ini and we put the second instance then we send another test. Combinations of domain name and postfix instance are made to find the combination that delivers emails.

Then if it’s ok the from name and text body are added and the message is sent…
———
I-We are looking to automatize all the server setup process

II-we are looking to Automatize all the sendings process from testing to sendings the emails…….

All the described process to bigin by putting the offer content and ends byt sendings the message to all email provider each one separatly..

Run Multiple Instances Of Aol

November 23rd, 2009 Comments off

I am looking to run multiple instances of the AOL 7.0 software on one computer. I need to run at least 25 instances of the software and still have the computer fast. They all need to be able to log into aol and run at the same time. I need it to be stable and not get disconnected. If anyone can find a way to do this, please bid on this project.

Multiple Instances Of Aol

I need to be able to run multiple instances of the aol 7.0 software. Aol only allows one install per computer like most programs. I am looking for a way around this. I was running 5.0 and had a program that allowed to “clone” it and run up to 23 instances of aol. I’m looking for a way to do this with 7.0 and be able to log into aol and run them all at the same time.

I need to be able to run multiple instance of the aol 7.0 software.. I run several investing and polical chats and need to be able to be logged into the aol 7.0 software from the same pc.. I was running 5.0 and had a program the allowed by to “clone” it and run up to 7 instances of aol. I know is pretty easy and has something to do with using a hex editor. It has to have 7 aol 7.0 icons on my desktop and they all need to be able to log into aol and run at the same time. I need to be stable and not get disconnected. I can send the aol 5.0 file for reference

Auto Test Emails

August 8th, 2009 Comments off

Hello,

We have a mail server in wich we have postfix installed and a php script that sends emails through the postfix instance mentioned in php.ini file

in postfix we have some couple of instances each one binds to a particular ip address and send email from it.

the instances name are : postfix-1 postfix-2 postfix-3 ……..
in php.ini we can specify the postfix instance to use in order to send email from it: we edit from root the sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i -C /etc/postfix-1

we change postfix-1 by postfix-2 if we want to send from the second instance and restart apache.

We have in parralel some couple of domain names. In the php mailing script we select a from domain and send test emails to a specific email as a test..

What we want is to create a web page script that automates all of this tasks to not have to do them manualy, idea of using cron jobs to execute a php customized script that does all of this:

- Edits php.ini file to select a postfix instance, saves the file and restarts apache, then start automatically sending emails using all from email domains we have; when finished with the first postfic instance it automatically selects the second postfix instance in php.ini and saves it then restarts apache and start sending automatically using all from emails; and so forth for all postfix instances we have.

-Aility to tell the the webscript the postfix instances we have: (postfix-1 postfix-2 postfix-3……)
- Ability to give the web script the list of from domains we have and update them;
-Ability to use return_pah ( the same as the from email);
- Ability to give the web script the list of postfix instances that we will use (postfix-1 postfix-2……………..);
- ability to enter the message body that will be sent in a box;
- ability to enter in a box the email address tests will be sent to;
-Ability to start the tests using a button;
-Ability to stop tests using a button;

So it’s all about a web page script that will send email tests automatically using all (domains/instances combilnations we have) to a single address email.

NB: Ability to give us the source code and the way to install the script on the server..
