My client wants to add phpBB to their site for their members. There is not an existing BB. We will need a programmer to:
- install phpBB on their hosting service
- customize it to match the look and feel of their existing web site (http://www.ctat.org) including fonts, colors and page width (if page width is possible). Also, the the navigation bar area that is used on the ctat.org site should appear above the phpBB content.
- set up the initial list of topics,
- set initial preferences like member signup settings,
- and then do a run through with me on the phone (during US business hours or evening) to discuss what settings the client needs to make decisions about/provide information for AND tell me how to access those settings to implement their requests.
No additional mods will be installed. The customization of the phpBB to match the rest of the site must work in all the major current browsers.
I’m a designer with lots of CSS and HTML experience and some CGI script editing, but no php experience, so I’ll catch on pretty quickly.
