Indicators To Ea

December 9th, 2011 Comments off

Hello,
Would it be possible to create an EA from some indicators and template? I have found the 5 minute buy and sell signals of Michaels B Method to be reliable shortly after the London and US open. Would it be possible to program an EA from these indicators to open and close with the signals and include some standard features as well as being able to program it to operate only during certain time frames?

Please see attached?

Trend Baby Trend

November 11th, 2011 Comments off

I am looking for a programmer who can program in the language call Meta Trader 4. Meta Trader 4 is a program language that is used by Forex traders. The majority of Forex brokers trading platform are run on this language. This language is identical to C++. Project Description – I need a programmer to take source code trading indicators and add email/sound/audible alerts when the indicators gives a bullish signal and a bearish signal. A bearish signal indicates that the market is trending down and a bullish signal indicates the market is trending up. I have trading indicators written in the MT4 language (source codes programs)but they do not have bearish/bullish signal or any type of alert. I can attached an example of these indicators and explain what’s constitutes a bullish signal and what’s constitute a bearish signal. I want to link together 8 indicators so that when a signal or alert is given all indicators give a bullish or bearish signal at the same bar. A bar entry is defined by the time period of the chart. If a 4 hour chart is used; a bar occurs every 4 hours. If a 1 hour chart is used; a bar occurs every hour. This is the same for any time period.

User Customizable Trend Continuation Ea

November 7th, 2011 Comments off

Hi,

I wish to create a fully customizable EA with external input fields that works on MT4′s price range bar charts, not the normal time based charts.

Only experienced programmers need apply.

It will execute Buy/Sell signals when these indicator conditions are met, for example :
- Cross over of multiple moving averages.
- Cross over of MACD Signal Line and Histogram.
- Cross over of Stochastic.
- Custom indicators are showing up/down signals of the same direction.

Absolute Stop Loss level for the entire trade regardless of profit/loss is executed when a combination of some of the entry indicators are reversed.

Maximum Risk Per trade is based on a certain percent of total account equity, for example Max Risk is set at 2% per trade.

Once a trade is still open , it must not enter a new trade until the open trade is closed.

EA must have a field to reflect the opening account equity so as to access win/loss stats for the month. This also aids in the calculation for the Maximum draw down for that month.

The Maximum Draw down is based on a certain percent of total account equity, for example Max Draw down is set at 10%. Once this level is maxed out, it will not enter any new trades until it is reset by user.

EA must cater for AutoGMT offset for the broker’s MT4 platform.

EA must cater for both 4 digits and 5 digits brokers.

EA must be able to operate on any currency pair using price range bar charts.

EA must incorporate sequential profit taking, for example :
- When 1st Profit Level is hit based on 1:1 RR, 50% of the initial lot size is closed, and Stop Loss is moved to Break-Even Plus spread value.
- Remaining 50% of the lot size is
closed when a combination of some of the entry indicators are reversed.

EA must allow for external input variables for the different indicators, allowing user to change parameters for the moving averages, MACD settings, Risk per trade, Max Draw down, Profit Levels Settings, Stop Loss Settings etc.

Please submit your quote only if you have the relevant experience and understood the conditions stated above.

Many thanks in advance.

Derrick

P.S. : Please quote separately for an additional option where it is able to access the internet (eg: www.forexfactory.com)where it will stop trading for 30 minutes before and 30 mins after a major news release if there is a RED flag impact for that particular currency pair it is attached to.

Mql4 Programmer Required

April 7th, 2011 Comments off

I’m looking for help in programming an EA in MQL4. The EA called MTF, as of now, has been in development for well over 2 1/2 years. The system works extremely well. The problem that I’ve had is trying to find a reliable, competent programmer who really knows what they are doing!!! Must also have strong math skills and sign an NDA.

The EA should require around 40 – 60 hrs to complete. Once the EA is proven, Greenberg Traurig will patent the EA at Phase 1 and 2, then it will be marketed with a “small twist”. The marketing “small twist” will be discussed with the chosen programmer which will be part 2, a new commercial EA. Step 1 first.

The following is a short partial description of the MTF EA.

The EA is heavily rule-based and works with any currency pair, 24 hrs a day, independent of current affairs. It is best not to run the EA 24 hrs before a major holiday of that currency pair. No problem running Friday’s, except do not open a new trade after noon of the New York session and it is better to wait for the London session to open on Monday, to start trading again. The first of the week opening sessions of the Australian and the Tokyo market on Monday, usually does not move very much, short cycles. MTF looks for trends, it is not a scalping system. MTF is designed for day trading and long term. Therefore, it is designed to work on the M30 and higher time frames. The most stable and profitable time frames. The faster time frames are used to help verify that a trend is developing. Scalping is too risky!!! As the trading account develops, then the W1 and MN time frames will be traded.

Custom channel indicators for each time frame are used to determined if the developing trend is new or a late rebound. Support and Resistance (S/R) is used to set the Stop Loss, or the Channel Indicator. Stop Loss is not set at a predetermined setting for each time frame. As an example, lets say 40 – 60 pips for the M30 time frame which is the average Stop Loss setting for most of the EA’s on the market. Using S/R or the Channel Indicator, the Stop Loss setting can be as low as 10 pips. This minimizes the loss if the trade turns compared to other systems. The slower the time frame the higher the Stop Loss setting.

Take Profit is taken also from the Channel Indicator, usually securing more pips by exiting the trade in a more timely manner. Trends follow channels. Very few EA’s use a channel indicator. Most channel indicators simply are very poor. Of the hundreds of channel indicators that are on the market, I got lucky and found one that partially worked. After studying this channel indicator I realized it needed a few modifications and needed to be adjusted for each time frame. This little bit of programming I was able to do.

There are 4 custom indicators to help the program stay in a trade without a premature exit, due to a very small trend reversal. One or all 4 of these custom indicators need to be merged with another indicator, for improved trend confirmation and to help filter out the noise of a small trend reversal. The problem is the number of buffers available with MQL4. 8 is the maximum number of buffers that MQL4 allows. With just simple merging of 2 indicators, this number is exceeded. This is where some great programming skills are required.

Phase 2, I want to market an EA that works, not scam the general consumer. 99% of the EA’s on the market just don’t work. Those that do, seemed to be designed for a few specific currency pairs and are only marginally profitable for a short time before major updates are needed or stop being profitable at all. MTF does not have that problem.

This is just a brief outline of the EA. There are many more custom and modified indicators used in determining a trade entry or exit.

I hope this helps some.

Once the NDA is signed, all details will be presented.

If this is of interest to you, please contact me by email.

Sincerely,

Mark Perkins

Easylanguge Indicators

February 18th, 2010 Comments off

I have a few NinjaTrader indicators that I want converted to MultiCharts (EasyLanguage). In all cases, the NinjaTrader code is complete (no external indicators or DLL’s).

Indicator 1:
NinjaTrader code is only a dozen lines long. The code simply paints a candlestick based on the Close of the prior bar.

Indicator 2:
NinjaTrader code is only a couple dozen lines long. The code simply draws 11 plots, each plot has a unique color. There is a base (midline) plot, and then 5 upper and 5 lower plots. The midline plot is calculated very simply. The upper and lower plots are just very simple math above and below.

Indicator 3:
Creates a daily ATR, regardless of what size/time frame the indicator is added to, it will always output the daily ATR. The NinjaTrader source is about 30-40 lines of code.

Indicator 4:
Fibonacci retracements and day markers. I have NT source but probably better to just create from scratch. Plots Day High, Day Low, Yesterday High, Yesterday Low. Then plots Fib levels between the current Day high and current Day low, marking -61.8%, 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, 76.4%, and 161.8%.

Indicator 5:
Weekly pivots. Just need some visual enhancements over the basic floor pivots/weekly pivots. Also add a couple new plots for Prior Week high and low.

In each case, I have screen shots and working code from NinjaTrader. I just want to convert these to MultiCharts (am using 6.0) and maintain the same visual appearance I am accustomed to with NinjaTrader.

I will retain complete copyright and own the property after you do the conversion. You cannot resell the NinjaTrader code I give you, nor can you resell the EasyLanguage code you create for me.

Thanks,
Mike

Ea Modification/additions

February 16th, 2010 Comments off

I already have an expert advisor that works very well, but would like to add one more indicator, using it two times (two different settings ) to enhance it even more – I use this indicator with the two different settings to make manual trades which works out great – I have the ea and indicator in both mq4 and ex4 formats – the expert advisor would not open a position until all of the present settings and the three new settings were VALID – each new variation of the custom indicator could be used or not used (True/False) as is the same with all the other settings of my expert advisor -

take a look at the chart pic of EA and indicators I have uploaded to be completely positive that this project is something you can do without any problems – do not bid if you cannot do this – no escrow release until the EA works PERFECTLY!! No exceptions!

Each arrow indicator works independently, but just as all other settings of the EA work independently to show VALID or NOT VALID, they all work together when enabled (TRUE) – when an arrow indicates a LONG trend, from either arrow indicator, then the EA will show this:

For example:
ARROW1 FOR OPEN = LONG
ARROW1 FOR CLOSE = SHORT
ARROW2 FOR OPEN = LONG
ARROW2 FOR CLOSE = SHORT

Once a trend changes direction to SHORT and an arrow shows that change, they will show this:
ARROW1 FOR OPEN = SHORT
ARROW1 FOR CLOSE = LONG
ARROW2 FOR OPEN = SHORT
ARROW2 FOR CLOSE = LONG

Both arrow indicators are enabled by either TRUE or FALSE

Mql4 Indicator Programming

January 21st, 2010 Comments off

Only experienced and competant MQL4 programmers please.

The idea is not that original, and shouldn’t be too hard to put together, but I am a novice programmer and it is beyond me.

Essentially, I want to combine parts of two existing custom indicators that I have found on the web:

1) “TD Sequential”

2) “Trade Assistant”

I want to take the signals provided by “TD Sequential” and display them in the same way that “Trade Assistant” does; in an easy to view format, in a separate window below the main chart, and showing the data over multiple time frames.

“TD Sequential” seems to be the best replication of Tom Demark’s indicator in MQL4. However, I like to use the indicator over multiple time frames and combined with additional indicators. This can be quite time-consuming and cluttered. For this reason I would like the information displayed in a format similar to “Trade Assistant”, allowing a quick view at one chart rather than many.

I am well educated on the “TD Sequential” method, so if you have any questions, please ask. I have attached screen shots of both indicators in action (please note that for the purposes of this new indicator, I am not using the “TDST” lines that can be drawn as an option of the TD Sequential indicator).

Finally, I have attached an example of how such an information box would look underneath the chart.

Metatrader 4 Custom Indicators

December 13th, 2009 Comments off

I have several indicators/alerts I need to have created. Eventually I am considering having an EA built. For now I need a custom indicator with alert that will tell me when there is a break of the high of the last (x)number of bars. Or a break of the low of (x) number of bars. The indicator would be adjustable by changing the number of bars. I would like to have an audible alert(preferably with a sound file I choose)when a tick exceeds the high or low that has been set. I run this on a daily, 4 hour, one hour, and 15 minute chart. I would like to be able to run all four charts at the same time and be alerted when this break is happening and be alerted as to which time frame it is happening on. Thanks for your attention.

Not-profitable Ea But Tweakabl

December 8th, 2009 Comments off

Not Profitable but highly tweakable EA.
The main aim of this project is not producing (for now) a highly profitable EA, but the main purpose is to create a very malleable EA that could be easily utilized to test multiple trading strategies. So I expect this EA is more capable to detect flaws and risks, for a provided strategy, more than to earn profits.
I expect this project to be a long-term and close to an open-source project that different coders will work on it simultaneously and subsequently. Therefore, I expect the code be written with understandable comments and easy to follow the logic by simple language.
Back to reality,
1- I decided to start with an EA that was showed high flexibility and freely available such as THV EA System. Great thanks for Copra and his team to provide such a tool. The way, they designed it makes it very flexible to be used, especially with the 3-digit indicator value settings and the number of indicators they have thrown in it. However, I am very open to any other suggestions regarding our corner stone EA. What it would be and how it should be utilized.
2-Related with the trading strategies I am testing right now, I expect the coder initially will add about 5-10 indicators to THV system. The indicators should be very flexible. Please keep in mind that, this EA is for testing strategies not to provide profits, primarily. I am going to provide the needed indicators with mq4 source codes. Taken into consideration that other indicators will be added gradually after this project.
I will provide a pdf containing much details, descriptions and illustrations after bid closing. I wanted to test the applicability of such an idea first by throwing this project in this highly renowned coder community. Then, proceed from there.

High quality is the priority here over the rapidity. Once bid closed, 25% will be provided after acceptance, 25% will be provided after I receive the first fully functional tested version. I will test this via back test visual and in a demo account.
I am asking for 2 weeks to fully test the expert advisor and review the optimization, after which point, 50% of your money will be paypal-ed. Although, I am thinking to make it an open-source in the future, your fees will be the SOLE intellectual property of the purchaser, and any resale is not permitted. I own the source at the end of this.
There may be alterations along the way based on what can be done; so flexible-minded programmer will be the best choice.

Forex Software

August 4th, 2009 Comments off

in regards to the Forex software…
The type of software I’m looking for would be very similar to the software you can find at this website http://www.premieretrade.com/

We want it to visually be as eye catching and also the functionality to be similar…. obviously we want it to work in a very sim ilar fashion as the premiere trade’s AI Wizard

I find Fibonacci to be a great indicator and also Elliott Wave… Maybe we could look at incorporating these indicators into our background and then as the indicators do their job it will display it on the user interface in an easy chart or line or even something as simple as green-buy.. Red-sell…. and yellow-wait… this will resemble what the AI Wizard looks like at the premier trade website above

So basically we would want it to have an application similar to the AI WIzard that premiere trade has… Something very simple like buying the currency once it has broken through the price line (yellow) into the green, or selling when the currency goes into the red. We can use different colours of course.

How we can detect whether or not it is appropriate for the price line to be in either green or red is because we will use indicators such as moving averages and Fibonacci…. We also like elliot wave as i mentioned earlier… Indicators for forex are absolutely free on the internet and so are different trading strategies. We will get one that has a consistent performance and then incorporate that into the background of our version of the AI Wizard.. So all the client sees is the line going into the green or red but really the software will be doing a lot of calculations based on the indicators we set in the background. If this is starting to get a little confusing just look at the premiere trade software and it should make sense… they have a lot of videos on their website which show the functionality of their software

In regards to the functionality of the AI Wizard… it seems that the strategy they teach is to firstly check what way the market is trending over 4 different time frames…. they use the 4 entry signal charts for this. I’m wondering if you would know what type of formulas they would use to detect what way the market is trending, and then have that work over all the different chart timeframes?

They also then get you to check the AI Wizard screen for 2 of the 3 indicators to be working in your favour (this is all shown in the 3 videos we sent you a link for). So the 3 indicators are…

Momentum
Volatility
buying pressure

So long as 2 of the 3 are pointing in your direction and 4 time frames on the entry signal screen are all trending in the same direction, you pretty much have a trade. This is what they teach as a conservative strategy… they have a few other indicators that are needed which is shown in the video. I suppose that what I am getting at is do you know or can you get, the formulas for detecting things like the buying pressure, volatility, and momentum of the markets?

I know that they are nothing new in forex and are available online somewhere but we dont have them and we wondering if you have them or if you can get them. Once we have things like that we can then teach similar conservative strategies like premiere trade… we can then also offer more like the EA’s and other strategies that we already have.

Obviously we wont call it momentum, volatility and buying pressure, because their will probably be issues with copyright… We will call it something else and instead of having it laid out like they do, we will use something that looks like a speedometer in a car.

I think that the actual AI Wizard is similar to a moving average of some sorts… we are going to look into this more and try to find out what it is that they use and get back to you… Alternatively if you have some ideas of what the AI Wizard is doing we would be glad to hear it.

The whole idea of what we want to do is have something very basic for our new clients to come to grip with quick. So having something like checking that 2,3 or 4 entry signal charts are all trending the same way and that 2 or 3 of the 3 indicators are all pointing your way… and then checking our version of the Wizard to make sure that it is in the green (or whatever colour we choose) if we are going long an in the red if we are going short, will make it very easy for our new clients…. Then once they get used to that simple strategy, we can then introduce them to other strategys and the EA’s….

We would also like a feature incorporated in at the first stage to allow the client to choose to buy or sell currencys. Like a “Trade Now” button… From here the software will bring us to our white label of either FXCM’s or FXDD’s platform… You can request an API from either of these guys or grab one online…. these brokers also support automated trading and moblie trading. On these platforms it will keep track of trades and let you know how much is in your account ect.. their website is www.fxdd.com and www.fxcm.com… These guys are the brokers who accept the clients trade which will be placed from our software…

FXDD and FXCM are designed to support software like what we will have. in fact I think premiere trade use FXDD… I have been in touch with both companies and have not yet decided which one to go with… Maybe after you look into both you will be able to tell me which one will be the easiest to integrate with. FXCM has the best looking platform in my opinion.

I would also want a feature within the software where our clients can click on for training. in here i can populate with lots videos and tutorials that I have in our archive. If this cannot be done then i can host them in a members lounge through our website…

I would also want a feature where my clients can access charts for all the currency pairs… From 1 min charts right up to a monthly chart…. this is standard in all forex software and you will get this from the brokers….

If you take a look at the AI Software you will see most of these features and it will give you a good idea of how I would like it laid out.

What might be an idea is to ask for a demo of premiere trades AI software or a one month trial and I can talk you through everything I’m looking for over the phone…

i have also attached some screen shots of their software for you to perusal… i have given a bit of an explanation below each screen shot… hope it helps to get an understanding of what i want….

below are a couple of links with some basic and advanced trading Strategies. These are from just one website and there are thousands out their if none of these can be used with what were building. These strategies are what make the software predict which way the market may move

The one above is a basic system.. if you have questions please ask, although it does have a Q and A section below each system….

http://forex-strategies-revealed.com/advanced/fibonacci-trading

the one above is an advanced fibbonaci one…

http://forex-strategies-revealed.com/advanced/eur-usd-breakout-system

their are heaps of systems on this website… I can trawl through them for you and come up with an easy system for you to apply… i suppose we will have to chat to see what you will need system wise to make this work.

Id like the software to be built in such a way that we can plug in new strategies at any time and then back test them over say the last two years of data (we get this data from the broker ,fxdd or fxcm) to see if they are good enough to give to our clients to trade with…..

Indicator Design In Mql4

May 7th, 2009 Comments off

For programmers familiar mql4 for MetaTrader and who have a large library of technical analysis indicators / have deep insight in indicator design.
I identified two indicators that combined give perfect trading signals in certain situations: they also give wrong signals some of the time. However, I have a method to confirm situations where the signals were perfect (in the past: this confirmation does not work in real time).
I require a technical analysis indicator in mql4 for MT4 that will confirm my signals exclusively: so the combination of my indicators (that give good and bad signals) with your indicator (wheter you have found it or made it) will give me 100% of the time good signals on the live chart real time. Please look at the graph to see what I mean.

My current confirmation is just a simple moving average of 100 periods backshifted 50 periods with +1% and -1% enveloppe bands added. If the price goes above this band and my two indicators are at their extreme (>0.9) then your indicator/system should also give a signal. Vice versa for oversold situations: if the price is below the lowest percentage band and my two indicators are at their low (<-0.9), then your indicator should confirm this.

I will not use your indicator as a stand-alone, so it is ok for your indicator to give more signals than only the appropriate ones, as long as the combination of my 2 indicators and your indicator coincide with a relative low as described above.
I don’t care what or how this indicator is, whether it is a trend-indicator or an oscillator, or neural net / Genetic algo / DSP or whatever. The only condition for me is that the combined signal works as described.

I will give you my 2 indicators after acceptance of the project.
