I need some fixes to my script. Here is what I need done.

I have a wordpress blog. And for whatever reason the set up is accessing a TON of CPU usage on my server. The Index.php file seems to Pulling a lot of resources from the database and mysql.

Did a designer/programmer to update the code on a new index page I have set up for my website. The site currently runs a word press install and so when visitors come to the site they immediately get the word press index.php Since my site is well indexed with google, etc. I want to update the entry to the site using my new index.html page and then provide hyperlinks to the word press pages.

Description of the INDEX page and functionality

1. The index page has ONE single background photo that is sized for full screen viewing.
