I would like to have built a system (PHP, MySQL, other needed technologies) that replicates the basic functionality of Ohlife (www.ohlife.com). The use-case scenario is that a user visits my site and creates a free account, and then thereafter gets a daily email that they can reply to, which my application pipes the incoming email to a php script that can parse the email message content and add an entry to a database table. I have looked into how to do it and initially thought that a cronjob executing a php script was all I needed, but it looks like the ohlife solution is a little more involved than that. I need a similar implementation to the “Searches that led to this page” and “Searches to clip arts on this page” tables at the bottom of “http://www.clker.com/clipart-2172.html”.

I suspect that HTTP_REFERER is parsed and adds the incoming search results to a database. Then when the clipart pages are loaded it iterates down the associated database tables to generate the page.

This is my assumption on a possible implementation, if a better method is appropriate please propose.

Last week we migrated to a new server from an unstable one.

A local IT person moved our database and architecture. The domains work fine.

Our incoming email from the server (POP3), however, is not working. In MS Outlook I am asked to enter a user name and password when I hit submit. (No problem with outgoing.)

Our IT person is new to Plesk. Is this a Plesk issue? Or this an issue in connection with Windows 2003 Server,which provides a Mail Enable suite? Either way. I’d like to be able to retrieve my email.

The program allows each user to have his own incoming mail, but there is only one outgoing mail server setting in vTiger that every user shares. I would like each user to have the ability to set individual incoming and outgoing Webmail.

Im not sure if anything similar has been developed… I dont want to make it to difficult for client user to place orders or register therefore im not sure using the api the message sent is very limited 180 char per message i stand under correction could be shorter.

If they should send a separate message to register then a separate message to order… or can it be in one message. The order could be longer so then it would be neccas. to do it in separate messages with separate keywords.

I plan to use a shared short code initially which should beable to handle our requirements.

Something i need to mention here is that the api will be invoked from a mobile phone which will have internet access but the menu options offered by the supplier or service user will not be displayed correctly on a mobile browser so the website for the menu will need to be displayed in a readable format for mobile phones..

Im not to sure if this is separate or if it is the same and the website caters for mobile or internet interfaces. it is likely that once the user registers they will receive a wap link to browse menu options if they are uncertain in placing a order.

I need help! I’m having a lot of problems with sending out mail from my web server. It’s suppose to send out a mail at the users request if they forgot their password or if I decided to send out a e-mail blast. Instead, I get an error message like this:
