This script will keep track of calls for service, employee activity and have some fuctionalty based on data entry from a dispatcher.

We would like to have the script use AJAX so that the page doesnt have to constantly be refreshed when new information is added.

Most of the database structure has already been created.

Up for bid is a project for a website that uses google maps and enables users to select points on the map and log events such as lost/found, car accident(witnesses) and another seven catagories.

Users can either enter their own event/incident or browse through existing ones and add comments. There will be a keyword search and sliders for date range. check crimereports.com but we will enable users to reply to incidents.

On the home page, there is a map with colored pins representing current realtime updates as people add incidents. Corresponding to the points displayed on the map, is a list below with Type,Date,Description and Location of those events. If the user changes the map to a different area or selects/unselects particular catagory types, the map and the list below will update.

If the user hovers over any single pin, a small ballloon is presented with some details of the incident and option to open it.

Otherwise, the user can click anywhere on the map and will get a pop-up balloon (add incident?) If clicked, an overlaying pane will be displayed where the user can enter Category, Date or date range, Time, Title, Details(250 characters), email address, Location(automatically entered based on where he clicked – but can be modified). Once complete, hit add event. If the user is registered, they will get a confirmation email or sms. IF not, they will receive a confirmation email which will require further action. Visitors to the site can not see the users email address, we will use anonymous forwarding.

This is not everything but most of it. Some of the other features that are required are:

1.post an event/incident and forward it to FB, Twitter, and by email
2. User registeration
3. SMS messaging

Develop first part of a Security Incident Management system that will be used by customers and internal staff to post, track, update security issues. Will be developed in Python and run on Google Apps Engine. This will be an ongoing effort that will grow over time.

I am making a small Access database which of a table and form with incidents and uses a button to open other tables/forms in which opens registration forms of that incident

There the two changes are needed.
- If the users selects an incident and clicks on the button that opens the new form/table I only want to see the records that belong to that incident. Now I see all.
- The second change is that when a user creates a new record/registration form automatically the Incident ID must be filled in from the incident he selected on the first form

Hello, I’m looking for specific design & functionality updates to a custom law enforcement reporting database (designed in FM 9). 25 Users create reports (Standard Incident Reports, BIA Serious Incident Reports) each with its own custom report layouts. These Users have custom permission sets. i.e. Users cannot view each others reports, Supervisors can view all, Captains can make changes and delete records.

The solution runs on a Windows environment hosted by Filemaker Advanced Server 10 solution. Disable startup script from file options this will unlock status area and layout browsing.
