Image Update Issue

I need someone to quickly figure out what is going wrong with my script, by quickly i mean within the next hour.
For some reason when someone updates there profile by deleting either there logo or banner it doesn’t refer back to the default image? showing on both there viewable profile or if they edit there profile again. Instead it just says image could not be displayed.
