We have a menu http://bit.ly/vNLEfi and on right side, when you move to any sub menu, there should be a black border on the 99.90 banner.

But client insists that on ie8 it is missing.

can you test on ie8 and send us screenshot AND your browser ABOUT popup to show it is ie8.

I have a mag running that looks perfect in all browsers but IE8.

In IE8 the arrows on the left and right and the next and prev buttons do not show up for some reason. I have spent alot of time trying to figure out what the issue is to no avail.

Webpages look different in IE8 and IE9.

Everything looks fine in IE9 and Firefox browsers but 2 of the webpages in this website look misaligned in IE8.

Can you fix this problem?

Look at all the pages in IE8 and then in IE9. The “History” and “Technology” pages I believe are the ones NOT showing the same.

I have a jQuery slideshow that is not rendering properly in IE8 for some reason. There are two issues.

1. When opening the browser all of the images are stacked vertically until the page loads.
2. To the left of each slideshow image is a white box that shouldn’t be there.

Anyway, when I use the shortcode to add a gravity form to a page, it breaks the theme and doesn’t display the cufon properly. This issue only exists in IE8. I am using this page as a test page: http://stg2.clearbridge.com.au/test-page

It works fine in Firefox, IE9, Chrome and Safari. It’s only IE8 that has the issue. I know it’s only one browser but IE8 accounts for over 30% of all traffic to my website, so I have to look after those users!

I dug around a little more and found this. The PIE.js (http://stg2.clearbridge.com.au/wp-content/themes/clean-v1.08/js/PIE.js) file is throwing an error in IE8

I need someone to fix this bug so that the website can function properly with IE8 and Gravity Forms at the same time.

Please see attached screenshot when i view my development website taicnew.imageinnovators.biz using IE8 on the pictures to do with the theme ie logo icons etc there shows a box around the picture with a small red cross I just need this fixed. My budget for this is $10-20.

On this wordpress blog when you try to print a post it works great in some browsers, but in Internet Explorer it cuts off the text.

In IE8, only a small issue with a block missing on home page and one other page

But IE7 – huge issue – it doesnt appear to be loading stylesheet at all – so the page looks hideous. I am a developer, I am guessing this is a relatively quick fix but I don’t know how and the client is using IE7 and it needs to be changed asap.

This could be a quick/easy $25.

I will pay $25 the first person that solves this table alignment bug. Please post your solution publicly. I will make the changes myself to verify the bug is fixed. Just post the fixed html/CSS. I will remove the job from listing and payout immediately, I will PM you if your fix does not work.

BUG:
Table is falling apart and images are not aligned. The table loads fine in its own html file. The problem only occurs when I insert that table into my html document. This problem originally occurred in IE8, Safari and Firefox. But then I called the table into the html using an <iframe> and it fixed the bug for Firefox and Safari but the bug still occurs in IE8.

Could the CSS of the main site be contaminating the iframe? Or is my table bad? You can see the file here:

You should have everything you need there. You should find the iframe path in the html and the CSS will be easy to find if you have the right tools, I think you do.

our website www.pil-hessen.de works perfectly with Firefox. With the IE8 we have problems: the right column and most of the front page articles are not shown.

The template provider says:
“I would suggest looking at the following errors and correcting them:

Removing content errors usually solves display issues with IE.”

I don’t know, if this is a good solution. Anyway, can anybody do this? Or has anybody different ideas how to modify the website for IE8?

See attacked snapshot. I thought this was solved since it seems fine on the staging server (http://www.rk9.com/transfer/bgi2/domestic-trucking.php) but in actuality even the pre-fixed site works on that server. No idea why. I need this to work correctly in IE8 and in IE6, IE7, Firefox, etc. as soon as possible. I will favor bidders with pos feedback and who can work on this right away. Brief: I need a few tasks done ont his website.

1 – The site has many problems in IE8. View the site in FireFox and it seems to work fine. In IE there is a annoying popup. Also the featured area doesn’t work in IE8. I noticed that when I disable the Calendar the featured area starts to work in IE8.

2 – the jomsocial extension uses the module Profile types. I need all MEMBER profile types automatically added to the friend/contact list for STOREFRONT profile types. OR I need a way for STOREFRONTS to be able to send a email/message to all MEMBER types.

I simply need a programmer who is experienced with the Clip-share video program to get my video embeds to show in a WordPress site and remain viewable with the IE8 browser. This appears to be an IE8 compatibility issue, because that’s the only browser I’ve tested that won’t play the video embeds. As you’ll see at my site, www.GreaterCharleston.com, the featured video embed in the sidebar of the homepage and the test embed video at http://www.greatercharleston.com/index.php/?p=8555 both load for a moment, and then blink away while their space gets covered by lower content. This must be a simple scripting of the embed, but I’m sure one of you experts out there can figure this one out. Below I’ll give you url’s for two videos in my Clip-share channel, so you can grab the embed code and embed it in a wordpress site of your own to test in IE8 to see if it’s worth your time. Cheers…
