I would like to hire a website designer, who can create a static HTML
version of my WordPress blog. My blog contains Flash videos, and I can
provide the HTML template for this task.

I would like a static HTML version of my blog – because I would like
to package this content, and start selling it on a DVD. This DVD will
contain a website in HTML form, along with the Flash video files.

Customers will be able to put the DVD into their computer, click the
index.html file – and then view the HTML website, and watch all of
the videos. The videos will be stored on the DVD as well …

In total, I think this project will take you around 13 hours.

I can provide the HTML template for the project, and you will need
to create an internal DVD style navigation style menu, that links to
a selection of HTML pages. Each page will contain a Flash video.

In total, there are about 45 videos, so you will need to create 45
HTML pages, and link them all together via a navigation menu. Each
page will be quite similar, and will contain a different video.

I will provide complete access to the WordPress blog and it will be
very easy for you to complete this project. I am hoping you can make
the DVD look very attractive, by working with our existing template.

THE PROBLEM SCENARIO

UKTech University is a private university that teaches only computing, IT and related subjects. It is owned by a telecommunications company and was formerly a technical college mainly used for training company employees.

The university has aspirations to becoming a prestigious seat of learning. The parent company is wealthy and so it can afford to invest in state-of-the art ebusiness computing, telecommunications, teaching facilities and ecommerce website. The fees the university charges are higher than other universities. Its entrance requirements are also higher. Nevertheless, it is oversubscribed.

Currently the network manager is studying for a PhD but the research topic is in an area of computing unrelated to networking. The computing and networking staff tend to purchase off-the-shelf products. This means that the relevant university staff has limited in-depth knowledge and often resort to contacting their suppliers when a problem arises.

Geography

UKTech University is an educational establishment housed on a single campus in the UK. The university wishes to open a second campus situated 80km away on the site of a large new complex housing several office blocks. These will house many leading computer and IT companies. The site and the proposed new campus have the support of high-level politicians. In no small part is this due to the university’s chancellor being the wife of a cabinet minister.

I have a series of 700+ index.html/css pages I wish to alter by taking the main table of the existing page, and cutting and pasting it into a new monetized index.html page.

The reason for this work is to (a) add standadized advertisments to all of the old pages, (b) to easily change the background color/tone/image of the site, but not the page, and (c) give all the sites a “family” housetyle without disturbing the existing HTML code.

These new index.html files should also have their own common CSS file.

In other words, each new monetizized index.html page should contain a new header and advertising tables, along with all the old SEO, content-type, title, keywords, css link, meta data etc, plus a new favicon loader, together with the main table from one of each of the 700+ old pages.

I would like (preferably) a PHP script that will do the following:

1. Go out on the internet and import each of the 700+ “index.html” files from their individual URL addresses (url list supplied)

2. Rewrite each file as specified above.

3. Define the header text font, size, weight, color in the css file.

4. Define the background color of each page per domain/subdomain.

5. Select which 5 CIS logos is to be insert per domain/subdomain.

6. Insert XOpen code snippet for each Ad position.

7. Save locally in a seperate directory, together withe appropriate CSS file, for each of about 50 domain/sub-domains.

For an example of what the final monetized index.html should look like go to www.cisbackgroundcheck.com, where you will see the kind of thing I mean.

For the right person, it is not difficult and quick to do. And for that right person, there will be plenty more work available since we have a number of other projects larger than this.

There are 2 tasks involved. They are mostly boring and repetitive.

1. Replace google ads with clickbank ads on 2 static html sites:

One site contains roughly 45-50 static html pages with google ads embedded. The other contains roughly 25-30 static html pages with google ads embedded.

You would be responsible to log into clickbank and get the code needed to then replace the google adsense code. The would customize the clickbank code to match the existing google layout. (very simple)

2. Install getclicky and quantcast on 14 websites:

12 of the sites have 1-6 subpages, adding up to 36 static html pages.

There are 2 sites that are exceptions. 1 site has roughly 55 static html pages, the other has roughly 320 static html pages.

You would be responsible to insert the code on EVERY page on the sites according to getclicky or quantcasts instructions like in the header or footer.

We have 3 domains under one hosting account with a mix of static html pages and php pages. We host a blog (WP), store (Zen Cart), gallery (Photopost), and forum (vbulletin). We have illegal code (javascript) in both the html pages and php pages that redirect(?) or send info to an illegal site. I have removed the code from the static html pages but can’t get it from the php pages. Don’t know if it’s in the php or the database

Would want it cleaned and back to working order as well as recommendations for securing. We are changing to a different host so if the solution is to reinstall the base php pages on new host and restore database would like a quote for that also.
