Home page doesn’t need to have active color but could.

I’d like to have javascript created that will do the following:

1. It won’t load the content of the specific div till it’s hovered over
2. when it’s hovered over it’ll stay visible
3. possibility of having multiple links with different content for each link

When you hover on the very edge of the site on the left side the arrow saying “Latest News” appears. Clicking it pops out a box with the latest news articles in it. I need to a make a few updates to this.

a) The arrow “Latest News” must be immediately available and not just when hovered on.
b) The arrow needs to “bounce” and move left and right pointing at the small section of the news sticking out.
c) When you hover over the edge of the the news section needs to pull out about 30px. This is to let the user know if they click something with slide out.
d) Need to add the yellow “Close News” at the bottom of the news box to close it. Also, remove that if you hover off the news it closes automatically.
e) Darken the whole site behind the news section when it is open.
f) Make the news section only visible on the very first slide. If you click to move down onto another slide it needs to no longer be visible.

I attached images that show how it looks closed and how it looks open. Right now when it is open the displaying and the shuffling of news is perfect and should not be changed.

I am looking for a jQuery solution that will enable users at a website to select lottery numbers.

The user is presented with a page that has 5 lottery balls, and 1 mega ball. Upon the initial page load, each ball has a “?” displayed on the ball. When they hover over the ball, a rectangular tooltip appears above the ball with numbers 1 through 56. The user selects the desired number, changing the ball’s label from “?” to the number selected. As they hover over the next lottery ball, the numbers already selected should be ‘disabled’ to prevent the selection of duplicate numbers. In addition, there should be a “Quick Pick” link to generate 5 unique numbers, and one mega number.

Lottery balls 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 must be unique. Minimum value is 1, maximum value is 56.

Lottery ball 6, or the Mega ball does not need to be unique. It is not constrained by the values of balls 1 through 5. Minimum value is 1, maximum value is 46.

The hover window for each ball must be able to hover over any text on the page above it. The numbers inside the hover are displayed in a grid layout, as the user hovers over a number, the number is highlighted. When the user selects the number, the value is circled, or otherwise marked to signify that it’s selected. The number should remain selected if the user hovers over a previously selected lottery ball. When the user mouses off of the hover window or switches to a different lottery ball, the existing window gracefully fades out, and the new lottery ball hover appears.

Would like to have a extension for Firefox re-written to show meta info & more about a link on a given page.

Note: this program has already been written but have not been able to contact programmer. It works in Firefox 3 but not 4.

By highlighting any link you get a text box showing the Url, Title, Descr and content *first 25 words or so about the page to be clicked on.

At the top of each page a box containing same info about the active page needs to display as well.

For an existing Joomla page we created an additional hover menu for social media networks in Dreamweaver with a simple CSS hover effect.

I have a page where I need to add a footer “hover” script (where a form is displayed at the bottom of the page). My current script (which is jquery-based) is working on a separate page, but the page I’m adding it to has some existing javascript (using prototype) and the script is not working. So I either need someone to troubleshoot the issue for me or else convert my current script from jquery to something that is prototype-friendly. (or, if you already have a prototype-based footer hover script, that would work too).

Hi, I have a CSS multi-level menu which needs to be finished off (please see attached file for details).

The 1st level of the menu acts as I want it to – roll over “Level 1″ to see the background graphic (white bar) and 2nd level links.

The 2nd level is also correct – with a left hand side 2px white border bar on hover and the same background graphic.

The 3rd level needs a left hand side 2px white border on hover, the same as level 2. This bar needs to be 90px height, the same as 1st and 2nd level.

In addition, when you hover over 2nd level links the 1st level graphic should remain fixed in place (white horizontal bar). Same again when you hover over the 3rd level, the 1st and 2nd level graphic should remain fixed in place.

This menu does have some .js but I don’t mind if you want to recreate this menu with/without javascript code.

I’m setting up as Joomla site and need a horizontal menu that expands when a menu item is hovered over.

The menu should stay the same width, but the hovered area reveals more and whatever other area had been showing the extra goes back to normal position. Also on hover, sub-meu items are revealed. (Not drop down) A fairly typical horizontal hover setup.

Each of the menu items is an image. The left 3/4 of the image shows up by default, then full image shows up on hover. When in a particular section (such as the home page) that menu item will default to showing the full image.

I need a hover ad added to my website. The ad will load 2-3 seconds after the page loads. The ad is an optin form. Then when the user submits their data, the hoverad will load a second ad that confirms the optin. It must not open a new browser window on submit which is what most hover ads do currently.

Also, I only want it to load one time per browser session.

Problem are the menu in the navigation on the right top.

The problem is: on IE7 i can’t navigate with the Menu on the top o page. Some is wrong with the hover or position with the rollover image. Check in Firefox or in IE8 to see the right working of the site.

I’m trying to set up an imagemap so that it swaps out the src of the main image based on which area is being hovered over. (I’m using an image map because there are irregular and overlapping shapes).

Hi, I would script created to easily choose menu option. The options would be on the top and bottom of the page. You just need to hover over the option to choose it, it should then show all the next options on the bottom without refreshing the page. Then you could set or hover over options on the top and choose one by hovering over it. Again, no refresh.

The site should not refresh, except when loggin in.

Here is a mockup I’ve created of the functionality. I have replaced hovering with Links, so click the links, but pretend you are choosing them by hovering over them.

We need a good programmer who can write a small script, using the Mootools framework.

Attached is a zipped folder, containing a simple HTML page. In the page there is an album with thumbnails, if you click on them, a bigger version appears using Slimbox. Slimbox is a Lightbox clone, using the Mootools framework also.

We want a hover effect on the thumbnails. Mouse-in must change the opacity of the thumbnail. Mouse-out reverts the thumbnail to it’s original opacity. In the script it must be possible to configure the opacity, and also the duration (in milliseconds) of the fade-in and the fade-out independent of each other.

The script must work for all the images in the album, regardless if there are 3 or 30 thumbnails (the album is database driven, so the number of images changes).

In the Mootools framework there’s a “tweenOpacity” property, so it should not be that hard to write the script. Make it as small as possible (no tons of Kb’s) and also the page must be valid XHTML. The script should work in IE, FF, Safari.

I have coded some of it to where I have the buttons look the way I want. I need someone to code the javascript to make them roll down, then rollup on mouse entering and mouse leaving so that it acts just like the current nav buttons.
