I need a magento site moved from one server to another. It is currently on a shared hostgator server. The store must be moved in its entirety with full database. The store has over 10000 items. Programmer should have experience with magento

I have a website that is working fine. However, I don’t like the pricing on Kiosk. I would like to addon a domain in my HostGator account. This should be relatively easy for someone who does this frequently.

Configure DNS on host so when user types their own domain in web browser, they see a subdomain on my server. Subdomain is set as a wildcard in DNS already, and routes to a php script which captures the subdomain name, and looks up the matching content from a mysql database.

Note: We have already tried:
CNAME, A record
htaccess

Host is Hostgator. Their tech guys have spent 2 weeks trying to get the DNS to resolve the wildcard subdomain, and could not do it.

I have a management problem with my Hostgator packages. It’s easy to fix, but I just don’t have time to take care of it myself. Here’s the situation:

I have a VPS (Virtual Private Server, running Virtuozzo/WHM/cpanel, with 235 accounts) and an RS (Reseller Server, running WHM/cpanel, with 305 accounts).

These two servers have hundreds of cpanel accounts in common. For each domain, I need to determine which of the two servers is actually being used, and then delete the cpanel from the server that’s actually not being used.

You’d have to check all the parked domains too, because it is possible that on a single cpanel some parked domains are pointed to one server while other parked domains are pointed to the other server (regardless of where that cpanel’s main domain is pointing).

What I did for you already is created a loop that spit out the following txt files in the root of the VPS:

I want to consolidate roughly 1,750 websites (in some cases currently empty folders) from 2 – 1and1.com managed servers, and 1 ServInt.net VPN server, to 2 HostGator Web Hosting sites without moving them one at a time. Between the two 1and1.com managed servers there are 55 MySQL’s. On the ServInt VPN there are about 60 websites of which about 5 are forums.

I have about 15 contracted websites that I maintain that I would like placed on the one web hosting site at HostGator and the balance of all of the other 3-5 page websites placed on the other HostGator server.

I know this can be done, but I have never done it and am looking for a professional to do it. The bidder must understand the proprietary console and SQL setup that they use at 1and1.com.

The roughly 1,735 websites/folders can be moved as soon as you want over the next couple of weeks. I purchased a flashden template and made it work at rkinvesting.com/drross/ and it’s work okay (once intro is done, select the renters menu option and see the text and images). However, when I transfered into client’s host (hostgator account) drrossalliance.com it behaves differently. Check the renters menu option and see that the text and images don’t display. Both Seekdotnet.com and hostgator.com are similar in software support, but can’t give me any reason for the difference in performance between the two urls. Hostgator tells me that some of the files are missing perhaps. However, I’ve transfered stuff from one place to another for many years and doubt I didn’t get a duplicate site. Looking for someone who can make the site behave the same on the new host as the old host. Looking for quick, cheap, and then I have some more work.
