I am using ASP/MS Access and have keyword search box on site main menu. this is showing results in search-results.asp using a form GET parameter.

But the search is bding done on a record field which is the contents of a page so could be 500-600 words long.

I only know how to bind the field in the results page, but what I want is to a)highlight instance(s) of the search word in the returned text and b) trim the binding down so there are just 10-15 words preceding and succeeding the search …

This is not for the basic multi upload script that requires users to click the upload button on each input field. If a user wants to upload 3 files, I DO want this to happen: The user clicks the browse button and highlights all three files that he wants, then clicks the upload button, which will upload them all.

The user should NOT have to click the browse button, click the upload/submit button to upload the first file, click the browse button again, click the upload/submit button to upload the 2nd file, then click the browse button again, and click the upload/submit button to upload the 3rd file.

This is for a PHP script. You can use whatever you think is necessary and compatible with PHP. But, you have to let me know what you’ll use before I select you, and you must stick with that once I select you.

I have a website that I need some modification on. The website is www.PublicYard.com, a classified ads website. Below are the things that needed to be done.

1. When user sign up, they suppose to receive “Activate Your Account” email with the link to click to activate.

2. After activation, a “Welcome to PublicYard.com” email with registration details suppose to be automatically sent.
3. “Forgot Your Password” email is not working.

4. “Your Ad is posted” email is needed to be sent for any ad a user posted with ads details, e.g. title, price(if any), descriptions, etc.

5. When a person view an ad and wants to contact the poster (the owner), the feature “Reply Ad” is not working. It is showing error page. This need to work and there should be a way for the sender to see all sent received emails. And should be able to choose whether to received a copy of sent email in his email address.
6. User should receive an email message if the person has not login to his account in a long time e.g. 90 days, 180 days, 270 days, 360 days, etc.

7. When a user is posting ad and their is no picture. The system shows error message. So, I will need a generic picture as default that will display if the poster did not upload any picture.

8. When a user post an ad, the description written by the poster is not being displayed with item. You can see some samples on the site.

9. In the admin area, there is a place for inputing how many days any ad posted will expire. Right now, I put 60 days, but it is not working. Every ad is still showing 30 days to expire in the admin area. I need this problem to be fixed.

10. There are 2 features in the admin area under setting to allow “auto approve” for user registration and ads that are being posted. But right now, it is not working despite the fact that I chose auto approve for both membership and ad posting. I still have to login into admin to manually approve both memnber registration and posted ads. I need this fixed.

11. Under setting in the admin area, I chose to allow user to highlight or bold or italic his ad.
a. Italic is not showing as one of the options on user ad posting page.
b. Even, the options (Highlight and Bold) that shows up on the ad posting page are not working. When a member chose bold or highlight, the system still don’t bold or highlight the ad.

12. Options such as “Featured Ad”, “Italic”, “Bold”, “Highlight” is paid option through paypal. But on the payment page when you are ready to pay with paypal, it is not showing correct info and it is not working correctly. For example, the payment should be for single payment for either “Featured Ads” service, “Highlight Service”, etc but it is showing something like subscription. And also, after payment, the user suppose to be taking back to his publicyard.co account but it is not working like that right now.

13. On the home page, I want those ads that is displayed there to be the “Featured Ads” instead of new listings and “New listings” button should be added to the top menu which will take user to the page that list all new listings. And with “Featured Ads” showing on the homepage under the categories. Although, the “Featured Ads” button on the top menu should still work the way it works now.

14. I will need a logo and favicon (not as important)

15. All emails going out need to be in the admin area for me to be able to edit and include HTML codes

16. Ability to send email to 1 member in the admin area. Right now, it is only all members at once.

17. The title for pages like homepage, featured ad page, etc is in the admin area under setting, but the system is not using it. The system is showing the title of each ad as the title on each ad’s page and that is ok, you don’t need to worry about that.

18. When a member log in, the system is not showing the ads the person already listed, even if you click “Total” or “Approved” links on top that is showing the number of the ads the person has. Perfect example is member: peacecato.

19.On the homepage, the login box and the adsense box on the right side of the page suppose to show on everypage from up down. But on other pages such as “Featured Ads” page, “My Clipped Ads” page, “Submit your Ad” page, “FAQ/Contact” page, etc are showing towards the bottom of the page. It suppose to allign like the one on the homepage.

20. I will like somebody that is flexible and patient for this project, incase something else needed to be done as well.

I will like to know how long or quick this project can be completed.

Need CSS solution to highlight the current page on a WordPress blog (each page now has different hover color; current-page color should be same as hover color).

Implementation must be pure CSS only, absolutely no php or javascript.

Blog pages currently pass W3C validation and must do so after you’ve finished.

Current-page color must display correctly in IE6, IE7, FF3, and Safari.

Project entails creating a JQuery script to auto rotate a set banner area (a graphical feature). JPG images will be supplied as samples but it is vital that the script is flexible enough to allow different images to be used. It is likely only four images will be required – they should cross-fade.

However, the cross fade must link in with a JQuery menu below. The menu auto-rotates as well (moving a ‘mouseover’ highlight between four menu options). The four images relate to each of the four sections, so when an image changes, as does the menu highlight. This is the case until a user mouse-overs a particular section – in this case both the menu highlight and image banner should change to that related section.

IMPORTANT: The menu is already complete therefore this work is only to create the JQuery banner area to a set size and integrate with the existing menu. The script MUST also work as a stand alone banner rotator for other pages that do not feature the auto-rotating script.

Preference will be given to those who can complete the task in the quickest time possible, though a professional attitude is vital.

Require update to existing JQuery Menu custom programmed by another programme (who is now unavailable). Very short notice project, need this completed as soon as possible.

Existing menu currently features graphical auto-roate, moving a ‘highlight’ (or equivalent to mouse-over state) over 4 menu options. On mouseover, the highlight moves smoothly to that option. On mouse-out, the highlight disappears and the auto-rotate resumes.

Client needs an extension to this – the same structure of menu with mouseout and mouseover states, but with no auto-rotate. In this instance, one of the four sections must be able to be defined as the present section (via some form of easily changed variable). On mouse-over of one of the other 3 sections, the highlight must move smoothly to that section. On mouse out (e.g., if the user does not click), the highlight should return to the current section.

Current menu completed using jQuery library with CSS to define H2 menu headings and CSS UL listings underneath.
