WordPress Guest Post Plugin Creation

There are a lot of plugins out there and I can’t seem to find one that works. I’d like to create a wordpress plugin that is private and for my use.

Here’s what it needs to do.

Joomla Site To Generate URL Links so Guests can Invite Other Guests

A Joomla social event website needs an Invitation support so that Registered Users who are on a Guest List for an Event can create and extend invitations to others to attend the Event (provided seats remain available).

Creating Invitations: The Invitation will consist of a URL Invitation Link that the Inviter can copy, paste, and e-mail to a few friends who they want to attend the event.

Accepting Invitations: When someone clicks and the Invitation link, they will be brought to an Event Landing Page that will use the embedded information of the Invitation Link (along with data in the database) to display the name of the person that created the Invitation Link. The Invitee/Guest will have the chance to answer a question to validate that they know the Inviter, Register on the website if they are not already Registered, and be added to the Guest List.

If the Invitee/Guest is already Registered on the website (or Registers during this visit), they may create their own URL Invitation Links.

The database must maintain information to track all Guests back to the User that created the Invitation.

Each Invitation is associated with exactly one Event.

Each Registered User may only create Invitation Links for Events to which they are already on the Guest List.

A Registered User that is on multiple Guest Lists must be able to select the Event for which they want to Invite a Guest before creating the Invitation Link.

Also need capability for system to display to Guest a report and related statics for their attending Guests.

Phpbb3: Limit Number Of Topic Views For Guests

Need to restrict the number of topics a guest can view on phpBB3 before registering, similar to the restriction that is available for vBulletin.

Need to have the number of topics a guest can view controlled via ACP

Once the number of topics viewed is greater than the value in the ACP, user should be prevented from viewing any further topics and a nag screen like the vBulletin one attached below should pop up each time guest tries to view further topics until registered.

Php + Mysql Simple Guest List

I need a simple PHP with mysql script for my page
I’m a club promoter and in need a script where
my guest can signed up on my page and stored in the database by dates

I want to have an admin panel where i can add the name of the clubs i handle and input the dates manually for example for Republiq Club
I only handle Wednesday nights so i will input all the days for the whole month that is wednesday (if you can automate this that will be better)

I want to have an export button I can choose the date and club and wants to be in this format
FirstName,LastName,MiddleInitial,Gender,Mobilenumber

All capitalized

EX:

JANE,DOE,D,FEMALE,0917888888

If the Middle initial is empty the * will be in place
i will be opening this in excel so the format is important

I run a adult live webcam site that uses modenacam.com streaming software. I would like to create a guest chat app that I can use to embed on my other websites. I have attached an image of an example layout.

The site is coded in php/mysql/FMS

Guest should see a live stream with a box to enter a temporary username. Once guest enters username they can chat with the performer in the same window.

After 2 minutes the free chat session stops and the user is presented with a signup form for the website.

WordPress Plugin (guestlist)

I need a wordpress plugin that allows visitors to submit their names to a guestlist. The guestlist plugin must have an administration section and must be database driven.

The point of the guest list would be for the first x number of customers to add their names to a list so that they can enter the event without waiting in line. A new guest list would be created every week.

Front-End
Users would login and then fill out a simple form (Name, email address and phone number, and how many additional guests they would be bringing).

If a limit has been added to the guest list, for example, only 100 names can be on a guest list, then the plugin would inform the applicant if the guest list is full.

The total number for the guest list should include the actual applicant and his/her guests. A limit should also exist for how many guests an applicant can bring.

Back-End

Ideally, all entries should be accessible from the back-end so that it can be printed off for use the night of the event.

The administrator should be able to add names to the guest list manually too.

Guest access is not working (has never worked). When ‘Login as Guest’ button is clicked, the login screen just reloads. Guest is not taken to the course. This is a new installation.

Hostel Site Changes

I’m willing to pay $50. It must be done in less then 4 days.

1. Having looked at the new layout again can the room list on the left hand side be tidied up. Can we just have the room number in black text rather than will colour around it. Or if this text is taken from the existing layout rooms image can you make the colour around the text bigger ( see rooms attachment)

I can see what you mean with date picker and agree it doesn”t really need it.

2. On the “guests” tab on the menu the availabilty search is out of place and appears in the middle of the page, can you move it back to where it should be in top right for these screens.

3. You have added new currencies and they appear in some screens. But they do not appear in “settings”–>”set currency” menu. When selecting a currency from this menu the symbol also changes for the prices in the system, for example selecting USD displays $ symbol on all pages. Can you add the new currencies into this menu too?

4. You have added an email function to the web bookings so that the hostel is notified of the guests booking but I have just tested it and no email was sent to the hostel email address. The email address that the user account is registered to should receive an email that tells them the details of a new booking via the web bookings process. So if I am the hostel owner I should recieve an email saying
“Susan Smith has made a reservation for 3 nights in room 4, commencing on the 6th January 2010″
Or if not an email, any kind of notification that tells the hostel owner that information whether it is a seperate screen or menu somewhere. Currenty all the hostel owner gets is an email from paypal, but it doesnt say what has been booked.

5. On the booking process step 3 there are required fields. Email address and country are required fields but there is no asterix next them. Can you add asterix please.

6. On all country drop down menus the country list is in a bit of a random order. Can you fix so it is alphabetical?

7. On payments screen you have altered the search box to search all of a guests name but the text still says guest “first” name. Change text to say “Guest name”

8. On “New Subscription” screen can you alter text at the top from “Buy New Premium Subscription” to “Buy New Subscription”

9. You have added the “extend stay” button on the edit guest screen which does work but it does not allow payment to be taken for the extra nights or produce an error if they want to add extra nights for the bed they are currently occupying and it is already reserved by someone else for those nights. The bookings get overlapped. I think it is best to delete this extend option and users can find their own free bed to add the guest in and use the guest database facility to use the same details. Sorry this is undoing some of your work.

10. On “add reservation” screen can we make email address field NOT a required field.

11. Finally could you also please view an error and see what is happening, log in and go to “settings” then “manage bed prices”, click edit and then edit the fields or just click submit. Has the view of the page gone all over the place? Any ideas?

With the widget if it’s to hard to make it custom I am open to buying or using an opensource application that does the requirments or somewhat similiar to the widget requiremements.

3 areas need to be done.

They are:

1. Create new layout with colour codes to show all guest reservations for 7 days, 14 days or 28 days. (hopefully straight forward as already designed and working just in different layout)

2. Fix the name bank feature used to drag and drop guests into different beds which is not working correctly, or design and implement alternative way of moving guests to different beds.

4. Create a widget for properties to place on their website so guests can search availability for that property. (guests can already do this but have to be on the site pages.

If you see the example attached it shows the guest reservations with rooms down the left and date along the top. The reservations are shown in blocks with the guest name. This information is currently already working with hostelmate but it is being displayed in a different format with the coloured boxes showing guests on the selected date. I would like there to be text at the top of the home screen to switch between the two views. (the existing format or the new one). The guest names are displayed and preferably clickable to allow you to view/edit/check in/checkout that guests details. Maybe clicking the guest could produce a drop down menu with options. Ideally the display will show an optional timescale of 7,14 and 21 days but maybe this will be hard to fit onto the screen.

The website allows youth hostel/hotel owners to log into their own software area to manage their guests and everyday management of their properties. It is a version of hotel management systems but aimed for youth hostels and their specific needs. The site has admin backend and also has a PayPal payment system integrated to take guest bookings that appear within the system. A full list of changes required are listed below and you can log in and view the webiste and application with the following usernames.

Requirements
1. Add meta data to pages and enable SEO information

2. Delete forum pages and insert static page instead

3. Alter all spelling and grammar mistakes and change some text which I will provide

4. Create bigger window for software to operate inside.

5. Create new layout with colour codes to show all guest reservations for 7 days, 14 days or 28 days. (hopefully straight forward as already designed and working just in different layout)

1. Electronic web based mall linking customers to various products and services.
ii. Guest Sign Up and Login
1. The guest sign up will consist of visitors providing Name and Valid Email. (And Member referral ID if Provided)
a. The Guest Email will become their log in name and if no referral id provided they will be assigned to a members page such as www.xyz.com/Tom if referred they will be assigned refers page.
i. The next guest to sign up will be assigned to the next member in the database if now referral id is provided. Such as www.xyz.com/Fred
ii. This way each time a guest logs in to view products or services they will be taken to the members page they were assigned or referred. The goal of this is to build each members customer base and network.
b. An email containing there guest Log in (Email) and Password will be sent to their email.
iii. Members Log in.
1. Members log in will take members to their back page (Home Office).
a. There is no need for a Members sign up on the main page.
i. Guests are referred to become members through the Members Page they are assigned when they sign up as a guest.
II. Members Back Page (Home Office)
1. Here members will initially complete their set up process.

i. So if Fred gives out his URL to a new member and they type that in directly to the browser they will be asked to fill out a guest sign up Name and email

Description: We are a printing company that is required to send a proof to customers. We also receive high resolution files from customers and we are still required to show them a proof (a copy of the final print).

We would like to have a site where companies (users) can be set up as different users.

Features:
* Ability for users to signup

* Users able to upload (PDF) files in Hi-Resolution format (large file size) at anytime which is stored in a directory on our server at the same time as creating a jpg image and displaying on the screen.

* Admins able to upload (PDF) files, to different registered users, in Hi-Resolution format and store in a directory on our server as well as creating an jpg image and displaying on the screen.

* Once an upload has been completed for online proofing the site would send out an email letting the client and admin know to login and review the proof.

* Admins able to setup clients and send them the login information on creation. (email address, login info, contact details, etc)

* Admin and users can add comments via the site for each proof about required changes that need to be made, the dialog would be “attached” the jpeg so a user or client could review the dialog until that jpeg has been approved, after approval no extra comments can be made.

* Admins able to upload a revised pdf to the same dialog (job) until the file is approved. The revised pdfs and the original pdf would remain for comparison until the jpeg is approved. Once a revised jpeg is uploaded the site would then again send out an HTML (graphics) email instructing the client to log-on once again and review the jpeg.

* Once approved a thumbnail is visible in their previous orders, and the pdf file would remain in the users account, for tracking and records and re-orders

You can use already existing opensource cms as base and create custom modules. Very important is obtain user frendly navigation both in front-end and in back-end by using last technology as ajax ( no flash, flex or other thecnology that require plugins downlod)

(this option will be used at checkout for determine if the user has to upload a pre-made file or
has to send notes about the design that wants)
- the user can obtain by email the invoice of the single configured product by placing his email in a form below

- the list of placed order with the relative status
- for each placed order the user can see: if have been paid and in case of custom design if the client have uploaded the design file or the zip containing that
- the user cans in any moment upload the design file or pay the invoice

- for order completed the user cans track the delivery with link to the currier website

- the user can update his data in any moment
- the user can have multiple delivery adresses for products ( have the possibility to selects the right adress during the order checkout )

The admin:

- the admin interface is the same as an ecommerce interface

In particulary:

- the admin cans display the list of placed orders and the relaive status of payment
- the admin cans insert notes for each order

- the admin cans add products and define for each necessary attributes for product configurator and custom quote form
- the admin cans add other pages to the store with various informations ( contacts page / tutorial page ) ecc…
- the admin cans start promotions campaign and create cupons code for discounts
- the admin cans download a list of all users emails

- generate automatic emails notification

This was a turnkey solution i purchased and the sites i have seen with info on reprogramming have a lot of info that has to be changed in each PHP file and i dont have the comfortablity for that. 1. The guest sign up will consist of visitors providing Name and Valid Email. (And Member referral ID if Provided)
a. The Guest Email will become their log in name and if no referral id provided they will be assigned to a members page such as www.xyz.com/Tom if referred they will be assigned refers page.
i. The next guest to sign up will be assigned to the next member in the database if now referral id is provided. Such as www.xyz.com/Fred
ii. This way each time a guest logs in to view products or services they will be taken to the members page they were assigned or referred. The goal of this is to build each members customer base and network.
b. An email containing there guest Log in (Email) and Password will be sent to their email.
iii. Members Log in.
1. Members log in will take members to their back page (Home Office).
a. There is no need for a Members sign up on the main page.
i. Guests are referred to become members through the Members Page they are assigned when they sign up as a guest.
