Graphic Website Design

October 23rd, 2009 Comments off

We are re-building our website and require a graphic-based design developed to a very high quality.

We have already created a JPG file, as per the attachment, of the look and feel that we require. Now we require you to convert this into PSDs, and ensure that the colours are consistent (e.g. at the moment the black colour for “market indices” does not go with blue and would be good to have some orange).

For the most part, you’ll only need to provide us with a template (for around 3 to 4 pages at most) and we’ll take it from there. Overall, we just need you to recreate the attached example…

Please note that if you cannot meet and/or exceed the quality for this design do NOT bid. This project is not for beginners – we need an experienced designer on this.

If you do a great job (and I’m sure you will), we’ll use you on multiple projects in the future, so there’s potential here for a long-term relationship.

Thanks.

Create Css Site From Graphic

I will provide a Graphic saved as a .png file which needs to be sliced up and a full CSS enabled website should be created from the design.

1. The CSS file should be an external style sheet that is commented to identify each page section.
2. The sliced images should have common names, header, footer, page-background, content-background, column, etc.
3. The CSS site should be tested and work in all current browsers.

The graphic provided is a simple design that consits of a header, footer, background image and a right side column.

All exported slices should be in .jpg format or possibly .png format as long as all browsers support the file type.

After looking at the attached graphic, please consider the following:
1. the main content area should expand vertically to allow for long content
2. I would like to have several variations of the right column, including a light background color, a styled separator (dashed line). This should be controlled by the CSS file.
3. There should be a page background image.
4. The site should be fluid left to right to accomodate browser resizing. I understand the content area will be fixed width, but the overall design should not be fixed, but relative position.
5. The main content area should have a padding style that can be controlled through the CSS file.

I have other designs that I would also like converted if you do a great job with this design.
