This should be a quick job for a few bucks. I have a dedicated server with webmin. I have set up FTP which connects but I get 550 and 503 error when I try to delete files or upload.

Again connects without an issue and will download. It has to do something with permissions. The user is set to the correct folder.

We just completed an application that will use the Galaxy Tab camera, take a picture and ftp in a tiff format to our ftp site, using a customized naming convention. This was to prove to our clients that it could be done. Now, we are ready to tie this application to our website buttons (will act like hitting the camera application), which will invoke the current application (taking the picture and ftp’ing).

To complete this project, the application must be seamless within our website location. The user will have 4 buttons to choose from, they will be labeled OG, POD, BOL and IG… the user will be on a specific URL address (which will have the necessary naming convention as part of the file name) when they touch the OG or POD or BOL or IG… when they hit the IG for example, the camera ap (already written) will invoke the camera option, take the pic and upload using the “IG” in the title of the naming scheme, combined with a portion of the url site that lists the ORDER# the user was on when he hit the IG button… this will upload the pic to the ftp site and should look like: TSSW_JIMDR_1172-3_IG_2011102715240900.tiff

The TSSW_JIMDR_1172-3 will be part of the URL address right after the aspx? extension… the camera application already written will already lable “2011102715240900.tiff”… so we just need to complete the integration.

We need a macro (Excel VBA) that takes all files from a source directory and quickly FTPs (preferably SFTP) all those files to a destination directory (on our server). The variables (source directory, host, destination/remote directory, username, password) would be hardcoded directly into the VBA script itself. We would also want the option to ignore subfolders as well as the option to only upload files of a particular extension (e.g. .htm, .csv, etc.)

Since there are a lot of files, speed is critical.

We are seeking a .Net developer / programmer / software engineer to:

1) Create a windows service (32 & 64 bit versions) that will automatically pull down FTP files from multiple sites, parse the files based on an XML document and then insert the parsed data into a MySQL Database. The windows service will be configurable to set the download frequency per FTP site.

2) Design and create a 3rd normal form or higher MySQL database to capture the parsed data.

Windows Service – We have several suppliers who provide flat files via FTP. We would like to create a windows service (32 & 64 bit versions) that will:
1) automatically pull down the flat files based on a configurable time frequency

2) parse the flat file based on a configurable XML. Each supplier has different data fields that we need to map to our internal database. So the XML doc will allow us to set map the supplier fields to the correct internal fields. Multiple supplier fields may be mapped to one field.

3) save the original flat file with the name of the supplier and the date and time (ie supplier092111010030 -> name + date + HH:MM:SS)

I set up simple websites for customers. They are all basically the same. I just need each one personalized for each customer. For this job you need to be able to ftp files, copy and paste, modify a few files and be able to use Photoshop to modify a .PSD file.

Each website takes about 15 minutes to set up.

There is an upgrade option where the customer choses to have us modify the header file to read his domain name. This requires modifying a PSD file in photoshop. This takes 5 minutes and I

1. You create a web hosting account in WHM
on my server using the information you get
in a set up email for each customer. (I will give you the log in)
2. You upload all the files to the new account
by ftp. (Takes a few seconds just html and a few php files)

3. You modify 4 fields in the configinc2.php
file with the customer’s details.

4. You log into my own autoresponder system,
create an account for the customer and
modify 9 messages by replacing my url
with their url.

5. Modify the index.php file but putting
in the number of the autoresponder.
(copy and paste a number in two places
in the file)

Send me a form set up email that
I will give you to use for each customer.

This all takes max 15 minutes and is mainly
copy and pasting and uploading files by ftp. It is
very easy.

Each website needs to be set up within 24 hours
of receipt of the customers set up email.

For 15 minutes of work I can pay $10.

I do a minimum of 10 per month and if I know
I have someone setting them up I will promote more.
So that is about $100-$200. per month minimum for very easy work.

Plus there is an upgrade.
The upgrade is simply modifying the header file
to spell out their domain name.

You just upload the masterpsd file I give you
to Photoshop. Change the letters to read the
letters of the domain name, save as a jpeg file
and reupload the the customers grfx folder.

This takes less than 5 minutes.
I can pay $5. for this.
More than half go for this upgrade.

So this could be another $50 or so more per month.
