Flash Frontend With WordPress Cms As A Backend

August 21st, 2011 Comments off

Need someone to develop a flash frontend for a wordpress backend ecommerce site we already have. The only thing we need right now is the flash frntend. The flash frontend should be able to:

-output the products and be as flexible as possible to output things like:Menus, Pages, Posts, custom posts, Products, comments and have organized code that is easy to modify.

-the swf should switch from page to page with a trigger to an animation that will open the other page.

-Basically work as an html wordpress frontend would work.

Please only bid if you have advanced experience with actionscript 3 and know you can do this project. People with previous experience, especially with this type of project, will be preferred. If you don’t have a portfolio of actual work done in flash, please do not bother bidding.

Thank You.

Modified Ptc Script With Frontend Like Directory Listing

August 12th, 2011 Comments off

The registerd users site would have the capabilities of a ptc script but:
- the clicks of a user on a site only count toward the views of their sites.
- the clicks would have detailed click records (date, time, country, ip, user).
- the registered user can submit a site for aproval
- the sites of the user aproved will appear to other users for clicking until credits run out.
- there will be no timer of any sort, the site just opens on another window(but recorded on the site first)

The frontend of the site would be like a modern directory listing site, that is:
- categorie sorted
- front page listing feature sites/pages
- listing made of title and max 2 lines of description
- count hits on sites cliked, but not on the same database of the registered users.
- sites would be the same as the registered users will see

Backoffice(only admin) will allow:
- managing users (users are only created by admin), like number of sites per day, number of sites allowd to submit, etc)
- managing sites (approve, add, exclude, categories)
- detailed reports on demand for a site on the database (ip, country, date time of visits, user that visit)
- manage banners and ads

Backoffice for registered users should have few possibilities, just change password, submit their site, view how many hits it has, how many it had, erase, change sites)

Frontend should be clean an modern listing, (listings like incentria.com or something similar woul be nice)
No mention of login to registered users (they login in something like mysite.com/users/

Should make frontend independent from backoffices, just using the same database to fetch sites to display

can run multiple frontends on diferent domains, still using the same database.

Require apealing design on frontend, minimum graphics, more css styles.

Modify Php Files To Work With Jquery-file-upload Frontend

July 25th, 2011 Comments off

I would like to change my current uploader front end for Jquery-File-Upload https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload

I need the upload.php that comes with Jquery-File-Upload modified to perform the same php functions that my current system does. Almost all of the code already exists in my current upload.php files so its pretty much a case of adding it all together so that it can process files sent from the jquery upload script.

https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload/blob/master/example/upload.php

Please take a look at the link above and view the source of upload.php to get an idea what you will be modifying.

Please only bid if you are able to start straight away, have good communication and can deliver the project on time.

If you have questions or want to see my current upload files contact me via pmb.

Php Website With Frontend And Backend

July 21st, 2011 Comments off

I need a nicely designed website with quite some functionality.
The Frontend should consist of several pages…. for presenting the company, contacts, misc stuff and especially a good list of goods. This list should display items one below the other…. each item should show a bunch of info about the item.
Each item in the preview links to a detailview of that item, showing more info, nicly sorted images (thumbnails with optional enlarging).
A Dorpdown menue should allow adjusting the display… like show 10, 20, 50, all items per page. Another dropdown should allow sorting the list by selected atributes.
The whole frontend should allow different languages. With a default language showing up upon first opening the page and giving a choice of selections somewhere at the top of the page. Once another language has been selected, the page should always reuse this language (so cookie stuff).

The backend should allow adding, modifying, deliting all entries via simple masks. It should be easy to add additional fields to show additional stuff in the preview list and detail view.
The system also needs to present a different logo and use a different default language, depending on what domain-name is used in the request. One DB field should also indicate, what item should be visible on what domain. So the backend needs to have the ability to manage a list of domains.. and make this list available in a dropdownlist, where I can select the domains, where an item should be visible.

Timeframe for this is 2 max 3 weeks. Design needs to be nice, clean and professional. (centered design with easy navigation).
This should be a stand-alone project.. so no joomla, nuke or whatever modification!

New Mysql Tables Excel Tables And Retrieving Information

May 18th, 2011 Comments off

We Require several Excel files whose data imported into corresponding new MySQL database from our site’s admin area via new sections created in the admin area for import from Excel.

There are about 6 Excel sheet tables.

Then following that we need to create new data fields when new members register on the site, like his place of birth, the time of his birth. Birthdate is already captured when new members register on the site, and this will be compared against columns in the new MySQL tables created/updated from the corresponding Ms EXcel tables, to derive the user’s corresponding zodiac sign.

The zodiac sign, and place of birth and time of birth of the user will be used in conjunction with these new MYSQL tables to retrieve data from the corresponding cells in the MySQL table and presented on the frontend pages of the website.

As a rule of thumb, these tables contain predictions of a user’s compatibility with other users, and also predictions about his inner character, personality and his attitude when he is in love. So, matching with frontend data helps to pull out relevant data and show on frontend pages to users. When users press buttons (named after these Excel sheet columns), they can retrieve the above-mentioned data that are displayed on frontend pages for their viewing.

Frontend Php Changes

May 12th, 2011 Comments off

The way it is coded is pretty simple PHP in my opinion–the programmer that coded a complete backend administration area for the website and did some front end code changes for $250, if that gives you an idea of the both the complexity and comfortable budget of the project.

Here is the complete list of changes:

Psd To Magento Frontend

March 21st, 2010 Comments off

I designed a Magento store in PSD and I need the front end to be coded. I am looking for an intelligent coder who can optimize the code as much as possible. Use sprites, JavaScript libraries, clean css and xhtml, and as little http requests as possible. To get a better idea of what needs to be done, we took inspiration from this theme http://magento-themes.joomlart.com/jm_purity/ which is just a skinned version of Magento.

Database W/ Web-based Frontend

February 23rd, 2010 Comments off

PHP, mySQL

We’re needing a database to help keep track of properties for sale. Each property has about 70 fields spread out over about 6 tables – Original, Properties, Advertising, Signs, Status, and Closing.

There needs to be a secure place for authorized users to login with a username/password and manage/update the details of each property. They also need to be able to add add’l properties.

The properties need to be sortable by month and there needs to be a function that exports the entire database into an Excel Spreadsheet.

It is also important for there to be a backup/restore function, which automatically backs up the property record every time that particular property is updated.

Additions To My Website

November 6th, 2009 Comments off

I need the following additions to my website www.blau-weiss-erc.org

1. At the moment I can create a season which is stored in the database.
During each season there are X amount of players in my team. Each player can also play multiple seasons or come back after a couple of years etc.
Right now I enter the season for the player manually and it is not linked to the season which I use for standings, schedule etc.
I need this linked so that in the frontend I can look up the team by season.

2. In the frontend I need a new section where the visitor can select the team per season and sees the players stats which are already entered in the backend.

3. In the stats, I enter games, goals, assists, points (=goals+assists) and Penalty minutes. I need this displayed nicely in the frontend as a table, where it shows the player with the most goals per season and also overall if selected. The same for games, asissts, points etc.

Please aks if you have questions

Front End For Database

October 5th, 2009 Comments off

My programmer who I hired through scriptlance to do an Excel to Access project has gone incommunicado and I haven’t heard from him since 24th September. His mother was in hospital so may be related. I have the database (Access 2007) which he has done but he was going to be working on the frontend and report for the database as just has a basic one. Because I can’t get hold of him and this is an urgent project I am asking for somebody to take over and do the frontend and report for me.

I have a mockup of how I would like the frontend to appear which is attached and please see the requirement spec and the database is also attached.

This should be an easy task who knows Access 2007 well

Frontend Additions

September 2nd, 2009 Comments off

I have two additions to be made to my website (www.bodyhaven.ie/index.php)

ADDITION ONE:

Please click here: http://www.bodyhaven.ie/fragrances.php

You will notice that the products are not listed alphabetically. I would like these products listed A-Z by default. I would also like a small drop down menu which allows users to sort the list by:
A-Z
Z-A
Price (Low – High)
Price (High – Low)
Customer Ratings

ADDITION TWO:

There are two ways (Product Options) of adding products to the website

1. FIXED (Allows users to select “Size” & “Quantity”)

Example: http://www.bodyhaven.ie/product_detail.php?id=206&subcat_id=161?_subcat_id=&cat_id=7

2. Palette (Allows users to select “Size” , “Quantity” and “Colour”)

Example: http://www.bodyhaven.ie/product_detail.php?id=284&subcat_id=166?_subcat_id=&cat_id=2

I want customers to be able to see an enlarged version of the “Colours” available for products added with the “Palette” option. I would like to have a flash scroll-over zoom for these colours with the name of the shade at the bottom of the image.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Jreviews Joomla Component

August 12th, 2009 Comments off

Here are the details about my project:

Actually I am creating a movie portal using a joomla component called Jreviews (CCK), i need you to add some functionality to the component. The site will have some movies listed in it (only the ones added by users). Each listing will contain the movie information like Director, Year, Cast & Crew, Summary etc. which will be fetched from IMDB ,and listings will also contain different media links, so that users are able to watch those movies online.

Jreviews already has all the functionality for adding new listings from frontend, and adding custom fields to forms, crating customized templates etc. (basically anything you want to do)

Now here is how it will work:

When the user tries to create a new listing using Jreviews, there should be a text field at the top of the form for IMDB link, when user enters the IMDB link of movie and clicks on save, it should automatically fetch all the data from IMDB and fill in the corresponding fields in the form like Director, Year, Summary etc. ( preferred using AJAX)

Please open this link: http://tinyurl.com/l7kkre
as you will need t for reference from now on.

Our listing will look something like the link you just opened. In the frontend, there will be all the information about the movie and an option to ADD MEDIA LINK. When registered user clicks on that, it will ask for a SOURCE (predefined) in a dropdown select list, after selecting the source, user will be asked to enter a link and will have option to add as many links as he wants by clicking on add button like Link 1, Link2, Link3. Then after submitting it, it will display in frontend like something very similar to this link: http://tinyurl.com/l7kkre

It will have different sources and links associated with those sources. If its only one link, it will display WATCH FULL, if its multiple links, it will display PART 1, PART 2 etc. And each source will have thumbs up and thumbs down rating just like that link.

And for administrators, there will be an option to EDIT or DELETE those sources.

IMPORTANT: I will provide you with the IMDB fetching script and the thumbs up rating script. And if you want, I can also give you my license for Jreviews.

Jreviews’ framework is based on CakePHP and all the source code is open (unencoded).

If you have any more questions, Please feel free to contact me through PMB.

Printers Website

August 4th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking to recreate http://www.printwize.co.uk/items/ but with these specifics:

The site should be absolutely dynamic and driven from a MySQL database, either with a PHP or RoR engine powering it.

**IMPORTANT** The site should be re-deployable, so should have a single config file and an SQL dump that can be loaded onto any MySQL server. There should be an empty file system I can use as a package.

**IMPORTANT** I should be able to clone an empty site on another server within 5 minutes, just like setting up a new wordpress site.

The site should also use an engine that will parse templates, but NOT smarty or anything similar. It must be able to read pure .html files our designer creates that contain tags wrapped like this: %%TAG_NAME%% or ::TAG_NAME::

I have an example of the kind of template engine I will want here: http://www.devshed.com/c/a/PHP/Building-a-Template-Parser-Class-with-PHP-Part-II/

This would need to be checked for security flaws, and should be modular, I would like to be able to turn template caching on or off from the backend.

The working site should consist of these primary features:

**FRONTEND (CONTENT AREA)** Should be a lot like the structure of http://www.printwize.co.uk/corp-index.htm

This will need to be configurable from the backend, and any number of pages and categories should be added. **IMPORTANT** I do not want you to base the backend application on a prebuilt backend framework or CMS engine. The development needs to be unique and new code.

Modules such as News, Offers etc should be able to be called into a standard HTML page templates in the content system by using custom tags such as %%NEWS%%, %%NEW_PRODUCTS%%, %%SPECIAL_OFFERS%% etc.

**FRONTEND (CATALOGUE AREA)** Should be a lot like the structure of http://www.printwize.co.uk/items/

Each category (see left hand menu) should be able to be added from the backend and configured in a very simple manner. It should be able to contain products or be a direct link to an actual product – Compare “Business Stationary” with “Business Cards” for an example.

On the product page, see http://www.printwize.co.uk/items/folders/18/ and http://www.printwize.co.uk/items/businesscards/12/, a pricing matrix should be set up from the backend, in a very easy to configure method. You will notice quantity breaks and options vary from product to product so these should be configurable per axis, per product.

This should be editable on one screen, so we should see an editable table of each price where we can simply fill in each box with a price.

**BACKEND** This should be easy to use. Anybody should be able to log in and use it without extensive training. I would like it to more or less the same as the Interspire Shopping Cart backend, please go to http://www.interspire.com/shoppingcart/godemo.php and take a look at the control panel demo.

The file structure should be modular like WordPress, plugins, templates and system files should be seperate. The templates must be put into a flat directory structure and must have conventional, fixed names so that the template engine can read them. Our designer should just be able to FTP new files up to that directory with our own designs.

The backend should have SEO features for naming pages, and must have an option to enable .htaccess URL rewriting so URLS can have a similar structure to the Printwize site. This should work without .htaccess as default, using unclean URLS.

We then need these optional modules that are seperate from the main site, but can be installed by dropping packages into the Plugins folder.

Some of our sites will need ecommerce at various degrees.

**MODULE** Account based catalogue.
From the frontend, a module could be called into the template, %%LOGIN%%, calling a login/signup area. On signup, new users should be put in a guest holding group.

From the backend, we should be able to approve these new signups and assign them to groups. Based on groups, we should be able to configure custom pricing grids for each product. This will need the options “Fixed Price”, where a completely new grid is created for them on a product, “Percentage discount”, where the original grid is reduced or increased by a set %, or “Fixed ammount discount” where everything is reduced by X ammount. This needs to be configurable PER PRODUCT, i.e some may have a Percentage discount, some may be a fixed price, and others may have a flat rate reduction.

We should be able to create user groups and place multiple signups into this group which receives the set discount, to allow many users from one company to see the same discount.

We also may need to create custom categories and/or products that only CERTAIN groups can see once logged in.

Once approved and configured from the backend, we also need to give these users “View only” or “Ecommerce customer” options. This will be USER based, NOT GROUP BASED. Whether we see this option depends on whether we have the next module installed.

**MODULE** Ecommerce system

This will be split into sub modules.

Main module – AJAX shopping cart. When you look at a product matrix on the frontend, if ecommerce is switched on in the site, a user will be able to click the chosen price in the grid, and using AJAX methods, they will see an option screen appear which will let them see the chosen product/qty (remember the qty is chosen on the grid) and give them a choice to add to the basket or cancel and re-choose.

This screen will also have a file upload box that they must use to add a file. We should be able to set up what file extensions we will allow from the backend. There should be a progess bar that will display during upload, and it should handle large (up to 50mb) uploads without timing out.

The customer should be able to choose to upload at a later time, on the checkout screen.

This screen should also pull in an extra module should it be enabled:

**MODULE** Finishing options.
Each product should be able to have finishing options configured, e.g. trimming, folding, paper weight, etc. These should be reusable on all products but be able to include unique price identifiers.

**MODULES** Ecommerce options.
We need to independantly configure our sites to have one or more ecommerce options.

The most basic option will be Account based payment. We will receive orders; the customer will simply enter a purchase order number when they place them.

As a seperate module, we should be able to use instant payment. This system should give three payment options, and we should be able to choose one, two or all three options: Paypal, Google Checkout and SagePay (Formerly Protx).

Each should be able to be configured from the backend by entering appropriate account details. We should not have to change config files to make it work.

Again, each of these modules should be installable by adding a package to the plugins folder, and each module should be packaged so that we can use them independantly.

This project will start moving within 2 months of receiving a suitable quote.

We would expect you to provide clean, standards based code, completely commented so we can if necessary continue development.

We would expect a warranty and support on the product, and would need you to sign the code over to us, copyrighted to our company, with a guarantee that you will not resell it to another company.

Should the project be successful, we would like to start a working relationship with you to develop more modules.

We do not need frontend design, just some basic example files that contain the appropriate template names and tags.

Price Matrix Frontend+backend

August 3rd, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for a dynamic pricing matrix that I can drop into an existing website.

The frontend view, what the user sees, must look like the examples here:

http://www.solopress.com/business-cards/laminated-business-cards.html
http://www.solopress.com/brochure-printing/

In the backend, I must be able to create a pricing matrix for each product, and from the frontend I must be able to call that matrix based on the product ID.

I want to be able to create a matrix for a product on the fly, on the edit/add product details page I have in my backend, using Ajax.

There will only ever be one matrix per product.

The matrix will always be paper-size/quantity. Sometimes there will be only one size option like in the first URL, sometimes many. There should not be a limit on either axis.

The quantity breaks and paper sizes will be independant per product, but product groups *may* use the same options, so there would need to be a way to call either or both headings if necessary.

In the backend, once the column and row headings are set up, I should be able to enter and save AND edit the prices all on one form, and preferably using a live editing technique with Ajax.

Lastly, when displaying the table in the front end, each price should be a link which must contain the appropriate qty and size as a query string in the URL.

I want this component to be supplied as a lightweight module that I can plug into my existing project. You will not be able to look at what I have currently set up, so the code you produce will be clean, commented and modular. It should not rely on complex libraries and huge file structures to run a simple function.

The code will be standards based and easy for me to edit the front end with CSS. I need this to run in PHP and on a MySQL database.

You should provide SQL dumps so that I can recreate your database so I can test the work.

I expect the project to come back to me fully documented and meeting all criteria as specified.

This shouldn’t take more than a few hours to create and should be ideal for a student that wants to drop a nice example into their portfolio. I am familiar with web technologies and would do this myself if I had the time, but more pressing projects are occupying me currently.

If you take on this project I will expect to have the code delivered within 48 hours of you agreeing to do the work, with a working demo I can see within 24 hours.

Frontend / WordPress Developer

Hi all,

I have some PSD templates that i want to slice into valid xhtml/css and then integrate to WordPress. I have the skills to do this but there’s no time for it. So i am looking for a long-term relationship as besides the already designed PSDs there will be more. So here’s what i am looking for.

- Valid xhtml/css code.

- The code must make sense. div id=”tprhdr” doesn’t. div id=”header” does. Also must have enough experience to use ULs for lists and DIVs for boxes.

- Conditional stylesheets should be used for targeting buggy browsers. NO HACKS in the main CSS file.

- Browser testing MUST include ie6. If you fall in the category “It works in ie7 so it should in ie6, please don’t waste your time.

- Commented code both in xhtml and css files.

- jQuery knowledge. I am not looking for a guru. Someone who is just a step beyond the “copy/paste” plugin level. Someone who understands jquery and can make e.g. a slideshow work.

-Attention to details. Yes those pixels will do the difference.

-Wordpress development knowledge. The right candidate must be up to date with the latest versions of WordPress and make sure that the themes work for previous version (2.5+).

-Must be able to code a custom options page in the admin for the theme. Nothing fancy, most of the times it will just be a css style changer, a few option to select articles for some sections, stuff like these.

I’m in this industry for more than 10 years so please try to be honest on what you can do as i can easily see that.

Dating Website Frontend

June 23rd, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for someone to provide a simple, sleek design for an online dating website. The backend is already complete, and my programmer will link it to the necessary forms.

The site should include a home page, access to profile (where there are only some questions, and potentially a picture), and then an about us page.

It should be very clean and easy to navigate. Timing is important as I need this relatively soon.

Addition of IP column field in backend admin on list members.

Virtual Tour Systems

March 25th, 2009 No comments

I need a system where I can upload 360 degree virtual tours and still images via a backend, and have them display on a frontend page. This is used predominantly for real estate, so here are more details;

Backend
only myself needed to login
different IDs for different clients
different logo upload for different client which displays in frontend
upload virtual tours as completed/stitched panoramas in jpg format (approx 600×2000 pixels) as well as standard still images also in jpg format (images approx 800×600 pixels)
to be displayed as flash virtual tours, cylindrical (no up down view – just left/right) see example below (don’t require floorplan, google maps, or agent contact details)

http://www.uta.surroundpix.com.au/real-estate/qld/benowa/4861/324709/

Also I am not sure what progamming language would be needed but I will leave it open to suggestions.

Frontend
I have already designed what I want – basically a simply designed popup window which displays virtual tours and still images. Has client logo at the top, text links to still images/virtual tours down left hand side.

requirements

needs to work on most operating systems and browsers etc
needs to be able to be modified in the future – ie add features etc.

Attached layout if frontend page gives you an idea but I may make the total size a bit smaller.
