I am having an issue with some letters dropping out on my text in some browswers. I don’t know where the answer lies, but I experience it in firefox and some of my readers have mentioned having the same problem.

The nav bar is supposed to say “more passion”, “less fuss”, “tales of passionate women”, “my life”, “information”, and “elsewhere”.

Then there is the problem in all of the headings. It seems to only be with the Populaire font.

I’m looking for a skilled and creative designer to create a unique layout for a magazine blog.

It must have on the front page a clever listing of posts and also some widgets to show “Popular posts”, “Recent comments” and “Latest posts”. Also, on the front page I need some sort of slider for featured posts (they will all have a bigger photo so they can stand out from the rest).
The footer must be that kind of bigger footer so I can put there the same widgets like on the front page sidebar (“Popular posts”, “Recent comments” and “Latest posts”) and a bit of info text.

Besides this, everything else is left at your own personal inspiration.

We Need the front page of our Store Repaired.. Its a pretty easy fix. The site is www.ashleysimmons.com/store. at the moment the Eight smaller images are not linked correctly. we need the images to be individuals and not referencing the same source image. Example, the two at the very top right of the main image are linked to the the two at the bottom bottom left. therefore when we try to change 1 image all 4 change.. Once this is done we should be able to connect the images to product gallery view pages and or individual products.. which is how the from page should work..

I run a fairly busy website and it is now time for a new front page. The existing one looks dated an unprofessional.

I would like to have a few ideas thrown at me by someone with a flair for this kind of thing – but would like to convey the theme of the website (flight simulation) and to include our existing logo and an area within the page that will include a different screenshot every time the page is loaded.

The screenshots (jpg) are previous contest winners and have been copied into a folder and will be resized as advised.

I need the front page of a web site fixed. The basic information will stay on he page but I need some fine tuning to the page which may require adding a picture, changing some text from the top of the page to the bottom on the page and adding a logo to it.

The program I use for the website is really very user friendly and state of the art ( Pro Stores by E. Bay) so once into the site it should be fairly easy to add or change things around.

Graphics and speed and code to be improved. A nicer a more professional architecture and look should be the result.

However, the graphics should not be significatly changed and the content shall be exactly the same as it is today.

It is M-A-N-D-A-T-O-R-Y to use Microsoft Front Page.

The reason is very simple: Front Page is the only programming tool for websites that I know. And I want to be able to change and to add to the website any time myself, without asking to a freelance.

So, if you despise Font Page and like other tools and programs is fine. But you must use Front Page. Or do not bid this project.

I had posted a similar project on this site a few months ago but the project did not go ahead. I am now relisting a similar but expanded project that I am looking at completing in the next couple of months – no rush just trying to find someone who can do it and get ideas before starting. (time frame for this is form completion about September)

I have a web site – www.geronamo.com.au. It has the basic design I would like, except I want to change a few things. It has quite a lot of flash which I can’t update myself. I currently update the rest of the web site in Contribute. Can you please look at the site and tell me if you can do the following and give me an estimate of cost:

1. Remove the Flash or make it so that I can update the flash elements. This is mainly on the home page.

2. Photos section – I would like this redone so that the photo section shows photos along the lines of something like Picasa. Have a look at my own picasa family albums and see if this would be incorporated into the site or if a similar one can be added to the site. http://picasaweb.google.com/craigandclaire. I would also like to be able to upload photos myself – I currently can’t do that. I would also like to be able top add a watermark at the bottom of each photo to make it harder to copy them.

3. I would ideally like to be able to update and edit content on the site on line instead of using Contribute. Can you enable this with the current design?

4. I don’t like the current font. I would like something a little crisper and cleaner. Can this be done throughout the whole site?

5. You’ll notice banners in the team building section. For example Hollywood Blockbusters has a banner. Can you design these? if so how much to design a banner?

6. I want to move several things around on the home page.

a. I would like to move the large flash file / pictures, which rotates with the 5 main program areas about half way down the page under the video section, and put it in place of the free teambuilding ideas blue flash banner.

b. I would like to move the ‘free teambuilding ideas’ blue flash banner to the right hand side and make it one of the smaller buttons.

c. I would like to move the 6 ‘hot programs’ to the right hand side and move all of the right hand side buttons underneath to the bottom of the home page. I would like to change some of the names of the right hand side buttons and I will let you know what those changes are later on.

7. I do not like some of the colours – for example the green and orange could be changed to different hues or even changed altogether in place of other colours. I am thinking of getting rid of green altogether from the site.

8. What do you do in the way of SEO? I would like to ensure our site is optimised for best SEO.

9. I would like certain keywords placed into the site but I unsure how to insert them.

10. I would like another 3 basic web sites created that I can link back to this site for optimisation purposes. Do you have basic web templates and how much for 3 of them.

11. I currently have the weather on the front page for 3 areas. I would like to have a seperate weather section now and remove the weather from the front page. I would like to add the weather for 3 other areas into the weather section.

12. I would like to add a blog to the site.

13. In the contact us area or make a booking area I would like people to put in a verification setting to prevent bots from taking our email addresses and using to them to add to spam lists.

14. I would like to put a little texture into the side bar menus. 15. I’d like to add some more text to the front page – yet to be decided what that text would be.

There is no programming needed!

We want to see how the front page of our website can look – given another professional eye.

We need a professional designer to simply redraw the components of the front page of our site in photoshop – highlighting the different elements on the page. The top of the page up to the menu will of course stay the same… it is the main content of the page that needs a redesign or a refreshed look.

We have a website in static html – 2Bangkok.com. We wish to convert the site to Joomla.

Requirements
1. Design in Joomla: The present look of the site front page converted to be a Joomla design template.
- front page that looks like the existing front page (2Bangkok.com)–this is supposed to look like the front page of a newspaper website (It should have the capacity to include rss feeds, forum rss feed, Google and banner ads, most popular, and other standard things available in Joomla.)
- Header for the top of every page of the site based on this one: http://2bangkok.com/header02.shtml with a place for Google ads

2. Set up the rest of the Joomla implementation (Sections, Categories, etc.) to be ready for us to enter existing data in. Set up the formatting to it looks like the existing formatting (font styles and sizes) for articles.

3. Create simple instructions on how we can add Sections/Categories/Articles etc. and other information on how the site was set up.

4. Advise us about any other things about implementing Joomla we need to know to make this transition work.
