Hi,

We have a website for our institute in Holland. We provide training courses, mostly NLP, personal development, coaching, some management and leadership training, some psychological testing, et cetera.

We want to get this web site as high as possible in Google. But *please note*: we only need to get it high in Dutch (Holland) Google.

For this project, we are looking for a SEO expert who can get results and who will actually do the improvements to our site, not just give us advice. We understand that SEO is an ongoing process, so we want someone who will work with us for at least a year.

Two Ajax Scripts

PART 1

I need an Ajax version of a script that I currently have. This is how the script works:

1-The database has a field called “Name”. Currently, the script displays one name at a time. The name displayed is the one with the highest row number.

2-There are two buttons/links named “Yes” and “No” below the Name displayed.

3-Once I click the Yes or No button/link, my database updates a field named “Status” to “Yes” or “No” based on what I clicked.

PART 2

I need an Ajax form that will allow users to post a comment. This is how it will work:

1-User visits site and sees the “Add Comment” link
2-User clicks the “Add Comment” link
3-The comment form appears
4-User types the comment and presses the submit button
5-The comment appears on the same page

There should be no visible refresh throughout this entire process.

You can’t see my current data/page/site/server/etc. Your solution should work with any site/page. You can use a dummy query in your solution if you are selected. But, I should only have to add my database connection and write out the real query in the same spot where your dummy query is at.

All you have to do is get this script to work without refreshing. So, you’re just making the Ajax portion.

Addition To Site

Outlook Integration / Delphi 7

Each time I send and email with Outlook, I want to to be able, within a Delphi 7 application (win 32 app, dll, …), to access all informations on this email. For example, I want to be able to store the sender, receiver, date, title, content, in a SQL table. For this project, it’s not important to really store it in an SQL table, but I have to be able to access all email parts in Delphi variables, so I will be able to adapt the Delphi code for my needs.
I also want to access attachments, so I will be able to copy attachments in a specific folder. For this project, you can just copy the attachments in a subfolder of the application, just for proof that it’s working.

I want to do exactly the same thing for all incoming emails. So each time I receive an email, I will be able to store it.

This application must react on Outlook events, so each time an email is received or sent, my Delphi code is called.

I want all source code. I want clean and reusable code. No external components or libraries or dll.

It must work on Outlook 2003 and 2007. I will pay extra if it works also with Outlook Express and Windows Mail.

I’m looking for help with creating a new brand image for my company and have a series of deliverables for this project.

Deliverable #1: Company Logo
Deliverable #2: Corporate Color Palette
Deliverable #3: MS Powerpoint template

Requirements for this project are below.

Prior to submitting bids, please ensure you have good communication skills and are flexible and responsive to frequent feedback. Since I’m not sure what it is that I’m looking for, I would assume there will be a series of exchanges as we figure out what is the right look and feel for the deliverables.

I would anticipate this project taking a series of days, as feedback is incorporated into new designs, but would like to have the final project completed in the next 7 calendar days.

Please only bid on this project if you meet the criteria.

Project Requirements:
1) Company Logo with a new, unique, professional design. (I will send the company name once a bid is selected)
2) Corporate color palette to be used for website design, print materials, and in the logo.
3) Logo must be unique and not infringe on any copyright laws (no stealing of other company’s logo’s)

Business Card Design

We are seeking a redesign of our business cards. Attached is a copy of the 3 cards we currently use. Page 1 is the same for each card and page 2, 3, & 4 represent the backs of each. We are happy with the current design but want to see if there is something better out there.

The bid for this project needs to include all three cards, which will be submitted in a file type compatible with MS Publisher ’03, and any non-standard fonts will be included so that the content (i.e. employee name, phone numbers, etc.) can be updated at-will. All content included in the submitted file must be present in the final products. The redesign may be as simple as changing the font on the back of the cards to something more complimentary to the front, or a complete remake. Cards can be 1 or 2 sided as dictated by the designers discretion. Cards must be legible in print size of 3.5″x2″ Portrait or landscape orientation.

To be considered for this project, please produce a jpg or other non-editable file of a sample design for the new cards. In this sample, all information from page 1 & 2 of the submitted file must be used.

The logo file for the business is attached.

The details of this website design project, are as follows :

Our client is a company in the medical / health industry that specializes in providing stroke rehabilitation training/education to sufferers of stroke and there caregivers using various media forms such as DVD, Books, etc.

We are looking for an elite photoshop professional to create a highly stylised website design and layout in photoshop ( .psd ) format with a ‘ world class ‘ level of design.

The primary areas of the website design we require are structured as follows :

1 ) Home Page
2 ) Splash Page
3 ) Section Page

As you can see from the attached files we have already created a logo for our client and have established a colour scheme that we are happy with. Other design elements we have established and would like included in the website design are logo, colour scheme, photo’s, statements etc. All are included in the attached files to this post.

The successful photoshop designer for this project must create a unique, detailed and visually stunning website design and be prepared to initially create many different sample designs, ideas & options for us and our client to choose from.

The first area of focus for this project is the ‘ Home Page ‘ draft design. At least 10+ different home page draft designs must be presented to establish the style, design and look that we are happy with. Once we have found the homepage design that is liked by my client and ourselves and we have worked with you to finalise it, then the Splash and Section page templates must be created that ‘ style wise ‘ are uniformed with the homepage design and are also visually awesome.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Only when we are happy with the homepage draft design will the project continue. If at this point you cannot provide us with a website design for our client that we are happy with or we feel you do not have the ability to create what we want, we reserve the right to cancel the project with you. If unfortunately this does happen we may consider a small nominal payment to you in cancellation. We have already been through this process for this project with another graphic designer ( see attached file – rejected.jpg ) who created a Home Page design that we were not happy with. Professional Photographic Restoration Design Brief

To all Photographic Restoration & Digital Painting / Airbrushing Experts :)

We currently have an old photograph of a very famous russian ballerina that we would like to get completely restored to full deluxe detail & colour and then digitally painted in detail to excellence.

The quality of the overall photo restoration work completed by you must be absolutely incredible as it will be printed out, framed and used as part of a display in a very prominent museum in Russia.

Not only must the colour be magnificently restored but also the detail of the photograph must be restored to an outstanding level of quality and must look absolutely fantastic when restored, as it will be viewed by thousands of people.

The effect that I am looking for is … if you look at many hollywood posters, from a distance the characters may look photographic but when you look closely you can to that they are amazingly drawn, incredibly detailed, there is no colour clipping ( loss of detail ) and they have essentially been awesomely digitally airbrushed all over. The finished result for most movie posters is beautiful piece of artwork

Have a look at any new movie posters and you’ll see what I mean. Beautiful, deep, rich, detailed artwork …. I love it :)

Can you use the Tatiana image we supplied to create a final piece of artwork like I’ve described above ? Can you redraw detail back into the image where detail has been lost ? Create rich lighting and shading across colours ?

I really do not want the final piece of artwork for this project to look like a old photograph that has been restored and colourised :( I have had over 10+ people show me samples of restoration work that looks like this. This is not what is needed for this project.

The picture must also be tidied up so there are no black borders on the photograph.

We also want this picture to be approximately 50-75% larger than the current size, without any loss of quality.

I need a custom file hosting script that allows users to have virtual drives which mimic the look windows operating system (i.e.: http://www.4shared.com/dir/1567809/8fff9481/clone.html). Must support username/password authentication features, and other permissions should be able to be set by users.

Must also incorporate a torrent client proxy (allowing users to submit .torrent urls or upload .torrent files from their desktop) and OUR server will download them, and when the download is complete we will provide the user with an http download link from our server.

Must also handle the in-browser viewing of specific types of files in different ways: i.e.: pdf files should be viewable in-browser similarly to www.docshare.com, .doc files should have a similar viewing mechanism, movies should play in browser.

* Torrent proxy feature* (similar to www.furk.net)- allow users to submit .torrent urls or upload a .torrent file from their desktop from all major trackers (i.e.: http://isohunt.com/download/105241149/debian.torrent) at which point, OUR server will act as a torrent client, and download the torrented file that the user requests, and once it is finished, place it in their virtual drive for http download. The user will also be shown the status of the download with an avg k/s meter and a completion meter.

*File caching*
torrent downloads will be cached with an expiry of a definable number of days (i.e.: 30 days) – when a user downloads a torrented file to OUR servers it will be deleted in 30 days, unless another user requests the exact same .torrent download (MD5 checksum, maybe?), then the 30 day expiration starts over.

If the torrent has already been downloaded by another user, and the files are still active in our cache of recently downloaded files, then the user should be able to directly download the files without waiting. If the files are not currently available, the .torrent is moved into a queue of torrents to be downloaded by our torrenting cluster (if the same .torrent is not already in the queue from another user). Our torrenting cluster will then download the files, and upon completion, will import them into our mogilefs file system, while also updating the database accordingly so that it knows what files are associated with the downloaded torrent, and so it knows where to get those files and that they are available.

MogileFS functions best with chunks of data under 64GB, so we must segment files for scalability.

Torrented files will be in a special folder in the user’s virtual drive which can only be viewed by the user when logged in. i.e.: to prevent users from sharing links to files in the torrent directory, they must be logged in to get the download links – and to prevent users from sharing download links – only the IP address of the logged in user that generates a link in THAT specific instance will be able to download from that link using their web browser or download manager.

*Virtual Drive Privacy*
User will have the ability to toggle entire folders and individual files are private or publicly viewable

*download multiple files as 1 zip file*
We want users to be able to download multiple files as one .zip file. We have a module for nginx programmed for us that can do this. Upon being supplied a list of files, their crc32′s, and other relevant information that we already have available, this module will create a zip file on the fly to stream to the end user, while also supporting resuming.

In order to finish this functionality, our script needs to let the user decide which files they want to include in their .zip archive they are downloading, and then pass the list of files off to the nginx zip manager when the user tries to download the .zip archive.

The user should be able to select which files to zip from their virtual drive interface.

*DMCA banning feature*
We will need to be able to ban individual .torrents, or individual actual files, in order to respond to DMCA complaints.

*scalability*
As we plan to be able to quickly support many servers, thousands of users, and many terabytes of files in a system that may or may not properly handle this, load testing and scaling testing will be needed before launch to identify our initial bottlenecks so that we can address them.

Our client is a company in the medical / health industry that specializes in providing stroke rehabilitation training/education to sufferers of stroke and there caregivers using various media forms such as DVD, Books, etc.

We are looking for an elite photoshop professional to create a highly stylised website design and layout in photoshop ( .psd ) format with a ‘ world class ‘ level of design.

The primary areas of the website design we require are structured as follows :

1 ) Home Page
2 ) Splash Page
3 ) Section Page

As you can see from the attached files we have already created a logo for our client and have established a colour scheme that we are happy with. Other design elements we have established and would like included in the website design are logo, colour scheme, photo’s, statements etc. All are included in the attached files to this post.

The successful photoshop designer for this project must create a unique, detailed and visually stunning website design and be prepared to initially create many different sample designs, ideas & options for us and our client to choose from.

The first area of focus for this project is the ‘ Home Page ‘ draft design. At least 10+ different home page draft designs must be presented to establish the style, design and look that we are happy with. Once we have found the homepage design that is liked by my client and ourselves and we have worked with you to finalise it, then the Splash and Section page templates must be created that ‘ style wise ‘ are uniformed with the homepage design and are also visually awesome.

In the longer term the site will make use of a lot of the power of Drupal (and I will require someone for this bigger project), but for this stage of development the only significant part of Drupal that will be used is the membership function and the ability to restrict access to particular areas of the site based on members’ roles.

This should be a very simple project for someone with significant skills and experience with Drupal

WORKING PROCESS

I will create a Google Group for collaborating and communicating on this project. All emails should be via the discussions mechanism with Google Groups, and all key information will be shared via uploaded files or Pages within the Group.

DETAILED REQUIREMENTS

This project involves configuring Drupal (which has already been installed) in order to achieve the following:

HOME PAGE

The home page must be set up as, essentially, a sales page with a member login form. I need a custom template created for this. I already have header and footer graphics created.

From the home page users must be able to either login to the membership area or request a lost password. Registration will be handled via a separate e-commerce script which is linked to Drupal and automatically creates accounts & roles. In other words, for this project – no work is required in relation to user account registration and management.

MEMBERS AREA

The Members Area will consist of a Landing Page and a number of Sections.

Every page within the Members Area will have header and footer graphics (these have already been created).

There will be a simple menu system for members to navigate to and between Sections.

There must be a separate menu with configurable links to other locations outside the Drupal environment (e.g. Blog, Forum, Support Desk)

SECTIONS

A Section, from a user’s point of view, is just a single page (actually, a delivery/download page for a product).

Over time, there will be 4-5 Sections, but for this project only TWO Sections will be created. There must be outline instructions of how to create/delete Sections.

Each Section will have different header and footer graphics for its page. (These graphics have been created). Other than that, the template for each Section can be the same.

Apart from the header, footer and navigation menus, the pages within the Sections require only the ability for me to add general HTML.

Access to each Section must be restricted to members with defined Roles. In other words a member may not access a particular Section unless they have the Role associated with that Section.

I don’t know what options area available for defining what happens when a user tries to access a Section for which he/she does not have a relevant Role. I would want advice on this but will not need anything that goes beyond simple configuration options of Drupal.

MEMBERS AREA LANDING PAGE

The Landing Page is where members arrive when they first log in.

Again, this page will have its own header/footer graphics.

The functionality of this page is:
– the navigation menus
– the main area with general HTML
– information about the member’s access rights

The last item – information about the member’s access rights – could be implemented in two ways.

EITHER: List of Sections:

Listing the Section to which they have access, based on their Roles
e.g.

Ideally, the names of the sections would be hyperlinked.

Ustream-like Broadcasting Apps

Alright, we all know Ustream.tv (unless you live under a rock) I need a flash developer to go to Ustream.tv and make me a complete clone of their Broadcasting application, their player, and their chat room to match the site of www.litecast.tv, willing to spend up to $1k for this project, but I can’t afford any more than that. I will provide a flash media interactive server for development if you do not have one available.

The broadcaster needs to feature the ability to add text, cohost features using audience members or other broadcasters, real-time logs of actions and cohost requests and poll results, links, youtube videos (if possible), polls, quality controls for audio and video, live previews, recording videos, and broadcasting(of course). The text, cohost, links, and youtube videos should all be in separate dragable boxes if possible and the broadcaster should have a nice, clean design with the LiteCast logo on it.

The player which will stream the broadcasted content should have a nice clean look and feel as well, preferably one that would integrate well with the blue, orange, white, and gray color scheme shown on the site (using the actual colors used ON the site, not those vague colors) It should show the live status of a user’s stream and the amount of viewers. If the user is offline, a message should be displayed. The viewer count and status should be on the bottom bar along with a menu which will allow a user to embed the stream. If the broadcaster has selected to allow requests for co-hosts, show a message at the top saying that the broadcaster is allowing people to co-host (click here to request a position). The user should be determined by a simple variable.

The chat isn’t required, I realize it’s hard to add in a whole functional mysql-integrated chat box system like Ustream.tv with a one thousand dollar budget, please post whether or not you are going to be able to do that in addition to this job. Let’s just say that it will help me to make my decision (along with your feedback, experience, portfolio, etc. if you have it available)

The chat should feature (if included) a VERY similar layout to the ustream.tv one. Pull-out user lists, channel mods, private messages, smileys, clickable links, and the ability to delete messages, set topics, disallow links, set mods, ban users, and the display of timestamps are the features I am seeking for this project.

Mysql Query To Update Rows

I have two tables with the following structure:

I know that the database is not as efficient as it could be, but that is not what the project is for. You are just to get the query to work with the current database structure.

With that being said, the object is for you to allow these fields to be edited through a page called update.php

The current update.php page takes the variable “id” from the URL and pulls from the PRODUCTS table all rows where the id is equal to the id in the URL. It also pulls information from OPTION where the productid is equal to the id in the URL. All of this information is then summarized in an an HTML table.

Headings: QTY1, QTY2, QTY3
Row 1: OPTIONNAME1, QTY1PRICE, QTY2PRICE, QTY3PRICE
Row 2: OPTIONNAME2, QTY1PRICE, QTY2PRICE, QTY3PRICE

These results are displayed in input fields so that they can be edited. The problem that I have with the current update.php file is that there can be multiple OPTIONS for a single product, so right now, the query is only updating one OPTION for each product. I’m sure that I’m just missing a loop or for each statement-something simple. I’d like you to write the code for the input fields/form. I have most of the fields, but I may be missing something like a hidden field, which will cause the query to work. You also need to write the query that will update both pages.

I will not be able to answer questions, because I will not be here. I think that I have provided enough information for you to work independently. Once I get back in within four hours, I will select someone. Include the phrase not a bot in your bid, or it will not be considered at all-even if you only bid $10. Need a logo for a new sports related business. We are not looking for a logo with different fonts but a design with a image as part of the logo, not just text.

Requirements for this project:

* When job begins, project should be complete in 3 days.
* Once designer is selected and job begins, we will discuss the theme, content and color palete that will be used.
* Designer must create logo from original work. This logo must be completely original and not resemble any other logos. Do use someone else logo design….

* The designer must provide 3 unique/different design choices…. not just variations of 1. One will be selected as the official logo for this project.
* Designer will provide as many revisions as needed until we are satisfied with the end result.
* The logo will be used on business cards, printed materials and our website. The Logo must be made in a Hi-Resolution format. The designer must use an Adobe product like Photoshop or Illustrator and provide those original files as well as a Hi-Res Tiff as their finished product.
