This is a bit of an odd project but I’m hoping I’ll find someone to help. Here is what I need:

I’m trying to find a way to increase the font size automatically as a webpage is resized and since there are currently no CSS properties to handle that I was hoping there would be a way to achieve that by using Javascript.

This is how I was think on approaching it. I will create a main div container on the page set to 100% height and width and a base font size of 10px. Inside this container I will place headings and paragraphs which font size will be determined using % and be relative to the container font size. For example H1 will be 100% of the 10px and <p> will be 20% of the 10px.

Now the tricky part. I need the JS to be able to be able to identify the containers size in pixels and change the font size value every time the container is resized. For example if the initial container size reads 1000×1000 the font is 10px, if the container is resized to 1200×1200 the font size value of the container becomes 12px and so on.

Please let me know if you are able to do this. I’m not looking to save money but I am extremely picky about the logic of the code and keeping it clean and simple. Quality is my number 1 priority.

REQUIREMENTS

I like the colors of this theme, but certain parts of it look quite bad. I already had a project here to fix the sidebar’s font color. Now we need to fix the place where the new posts are.

and look at that junk. I don’t like almost everything about this. The title of the post’s color is ok, I guess, but why are all the rows of words too close to each other?

If you click on the title, you will be taken to the post. This is how I want the title to look on that “recent entries” page. Also I want it to pull in the picture. And I want to be able to change the font color of the words of the post and the font itself. Look at how I changed the font in the actual post to have an idea.

I don’t want so many posts to show up on that page. I’m not sure if we could have just one post, or a couple, or even 3-4, where you read a couple paragraphs, and then it says “read more”. I want to know how to do it in different ways so I can try which way looks the best.

I don’t know if this blog’s theme can be changed in the way I want. If so, what I would REALLY like is to have written instructions on how to do it. This “andrews-blog.info isn’t the main blog, just a practice one.

Tell me if this is simple enough to send me instructions on how to modify it, or if I have to let you into the theme so that you can do it.

I am having an issue with some letters dropping out on my text in some browswers. I don’t know where the answer lies, but I experience it in firefox and some of my readers have mentioned having the same problem.

The nav bar is supposed to say “more passion”, “less fuss”, “tales of passionate women”, “my life”, “information”, and “elsewhere”.

Then there is the problem in all of the headings. It seems to only be with the Populaire font.

I need someone to find the error in my code and fix the fonts for me. They are all working on the homepage, but in subpages they are not working well. Also, the font for the main content of the site is not working at all.

i need a simple php script/class to do the following:

1. simple form with a text area to write a paragraph with some lines of text and submit,

2. after submit the form, i want to see an image from an http url (needs the $fopen function) with the paragraph text inside.
The image size is standard width:400px/height:300px.

3. its important to wrap the text in the center of the image, include custom TTF font (need $imagettftext) and also must have some variables for all this, font size and font color.

This is another POSSIBLE project (just depends on the results I get and bid amounts/etc)…as we do not have very much budget for this. I am looking to have a new logo graphic for our business made…attempting to incorporate the company initials (CLS) and a horse drawn carriage (which is what we do). We currently do not have anything like this (we do have a carriage graphic that we use and such but it doesnt incorporate the initials)…but I did find a similar example of it that I can send you if you would like (I am not posting it here as I do not own the rights/etc to the image). I would like to use our same colors (maroon, gold, silver, white). Also the font will be our company’s official font (its a one of a kind that I edited certain letters for us) but I will not be sending anyone this font (as I do not want anyone to have it for obvious reasons), you will just have to do it in a font like Lucida Calligraphy for now.

Some ideas are to use the CLS letters to form a carriage…or to somehow put the letters inside a carriage (maybe a carriage shaped like our one of a kind Cinderella carriage that we built)…or feel free to share your own.

I need some color changes and font changes for a logo that I have in a PNG file. I own a couple of different text ad exchange scripts and there are improvements that I would like to make on them. I would like to keep these rules when we work together:

The Font of the site stays the same.
Spelling, Grammar and spacing needs to be checked on anything I submit.
Font size and color for title text will be the same as currently used on similar pages unless otherwise requested.
Font Color/Bold will be requested by me when needed.
I use several key words that can not be changed (even to plural) they are mostly the Make, Model, driveshaft, drive shaft, driveline, Axle.
