I am seeking bids to clone and existing questionnaire system.
This is only one piece of the web site I am building. If this project works out for both of us then we can move forward with the rest of the pieces.
Should you wish to proceed further I will pre-fund the project. I will provide you with login and password criteria for the system to be copied and enhanced. I have setup a clean development hosted domain & I will provide you with the full rights cpanel login.
I will provide the function design, a view of the resulting questionnaire, and a login where you can play with the system to be cloned and enhanced. Since I am giving a functional design you will need to design the database tables and records to complement the way you wind up laying out the system.
Short description. The questionnaire design consists of a page description, a section within the page layout, and questions within the section layout. From the values entered in the layout design the system automatically creates (publishes) the questionnaire, and stores the data for subsequent retrieval (download).
You will be cloning an already operational design. Changing the look & feel, and making it more elegant.
I feel that this should be done in php, but if you have a good reason to do it in some other form please let me know. The back end database needs to by MySql because of its widespread availability.
On to the project.
This really is straightforward, and a clone of an existing system. Your charge is to make the design of the questionnaire entry and published results pages different, more elegant. I have tried to provide you with very detailed design criteria so that you can be as efficient as possible. I am always available for questions and clarifications and will work with you as much as you need.
The first component of the system is the login system. There are three levels of login rights.
I define my site users in three levels, each will have its own dashboard, all entry is password protected with a captcha field.
1…. Administrative. This is for my staff and I. We can control all.
2…. Firm level. These are my clients. They have the ability to create multiple questionnaires for use only with their clients. They can download all their clients for a particular questionnaire or a single clients questionnaire results in separate csv or pdf files. No firm has access to the files or clients of another firm.
3…. Client level. These are the clients of my clients…the firm level clients. They have access to the questionnaires of only their respective firm. They cannot see or access other clients or the other client questionnaires. They can only access the published questionnaires of their respective firm.
This project does not encompass setting up the full firm/client administration system.
Just a basic three level login control system. However, as I expect us to go all the way
with this project, as this is the first of our projects, a test project, you might consider building
in the hooks for a much more extensive administrative firm/client login system.
As I stated this is a database driven online questionnaire system whereby the questionnaire that displays is driven by an entry system that defines three critical areas.
1…. What is on a page
2…. What is in a section of that page
3…. The actual questions in the section and their type. There are less than ten types of questions that are all pre-defined.
Simply define the questionnaire and then publish it. Multiple questionnaires can be defined and published. Publishing causes the system to create the web pages for the questionnaire, or as an option a fill in form pdf document. Once published it can not be changed, however, a new questionnaire definition can be created by the user from scratch, or by duplicating one of the stored questionnaire definitions and then modifying it prior to publishing.
There are four levels of questionnaires.
1…. Administrative questionnaires. These are unpublished questionnaires created at the administrative level.
2…. Global questionnaires. Created at the administrative level and designated as global (box checked). These questionnaire designs are available to all at the firm level.
3…. Firm level. These are designs at the firm level. They may be in draft format (unpublished and editable) or published format (not editable, but available to be cloned into an new questionnaire that is in draft format and can then be edited.) The firm has the option of retrieving any of its clients web based questionnaires in a csv format, with the first line being the comma delimited field names.
4…. Client questionnaires. These are published questionnaires by the clients respective firm. They are always in published format, either web based form pages or a published pdf fill in document. The client has the option to
