We have 36 double spread Quark files that we require to be converted to a single inDesign project document. The 12 gig worth of files will be sent via DVD.

Unknown Quark version, however when we download the latest trial version of Quark XPress from their website it opens fine. We will then need it in an inDesign CS5.5 or 5 fully packaged document.

We have 5 PDF file formats we wish to have transferred to ‘Word’ documents

Not sure if you can do simple conversion or whether you will need to copy to word?

I have four short audio files (under 30 seconds each) that are in .wma format (Windows Media File) and need to be converted to
CCIT ULAW format 8k 8bit as a .wav file for a phone messaging system.

I’ve had static problems in my attempts to convert. I’m looking for clean files please, I know they won’t be perfect but can and should sound clean after conversion.

This is a fairly straight forward project, just want to convert the exported files (.txt) from one formatting into another.

Here is two examples

As you can see for the most of it simply a replace of “;” with “,” followed by putting in a “:” between the HH:MM then removing the additional “00″ -> which represents seconds for the time (always the same being 00) -> HHMMSS. However, I reckon simple coding could quite easily sort out the date formatting as all it needs is to recognise to put a “.” after the 4th character, 6th character and space after the 8th character between this and the time and that time is formatted as a 24 hour clock without seconds. It needs to be able to work with very large log files (number of lines). The current one I have is over 800000 lines.

The way I wrote that may sound confusing but it really is simple as counting how many characters in on each line followed by applying
certain values

I had a menu book designed in Photoshop, but unfortunately it is not easy to edit, which I need to be able to do easily. I need the PSD file, the way it is designed, to be brought into a Word file, or some other easily editable file type (keep in mind I may need to purchase an accompanying program). I have attached one of the pages so you know what you are looking at.

I’ve attached a PNG file that we’d like converted to an Excel spreadsheet (.xls) that just has each email address in one cell (aligned vertically down the spreadsheet.)

We have a file that was originally an ascii file that we converted to a txt file. It can be found here: http://www.central-investments.com/uploads/ then click on ABMS1.txt. The .txt file is unreadable, so it may need to be put back into ascii format before manipulating. The file is 340 MB as an ascii file, which is why we have it saved it as a .txt file.

We’d like to have this file, which has volunteer contact info, converted into an excel spreadsheet (.xls) that we can then use with volunteer name, phone number, etc in separate fields in the spreadsheet. As it currently stands (as a huge ascii file or an unreadable .txt file), we can’t use this data…

this is legacy font to unicode font file conversion project, but can be done easily for experts, no hurry, so can take your time

you need to be very good with regualr expressions, php exec commands, file reading/writting, .. automated tasks.

breifly ths the project,

Task 1
convert large set of files (15.MB aprox) written in a another font into a unicode font format.
(this conversion algorithm i have created already) so u only need to implement the PHP version. can be easily done.

I think if we can create the script to run for folder and save it in some as -u.html , task 1 is completed.

task 2 we can do it in reading -u.html files

task 3 we can decide how to implement the database and the website.

Hi I have a strait forward job of converting a large number of files (about 2000 I think) from djvu to PDF. I believe there are several free bulk converters out there to do this. Also as part of the project the files will need to be download from the coppermine gallery albums they are in then reuploaded correctly in coppermine. So you will need some basic understanding of coppermine all tho is very easy with the batch import etc.

I need to have 10 Corel Draw (.cdr) files converted into Illustrator for use in AI CS2 or CS4 for Windows.
