We’re looking for a php/mysql solution that will allow us to compare odds amongst a number of online sportsbooks cca 50.

The Odds Data:

- Odds are provided by each individual sportsbook via XML feed(s).
- optional: “scraping” data from bookmaker site.
- Each feed will provide the odds information in its own distinct format, so there will need to be some way to standardize for comparison.
- If it’s possible, we’d like to be able to add additional sportsbooks/feeds (xml url’s) down the road some sort of interface or something.

We have all the appropriate URL’s. Some of these sportsbooks have all their data in single feeds, wheras some have many feeds (one for each sport really adds up). All of the feeds being used are publically accessible (no logging in required to get at the data). Again – each different sportsbook may have it’s own particular feed structure, and possibly different naming conventions that we’ll need to be able to standardize enough to display different sportsbook’s odds side by side for the same game.

For example; Sportsbook A may refer to a team as “Manchester United” in their feed whereas Sportsbook B uses “Man. U”
Sportsbook A may display a game time as “10 PM”, Sportsbook B as “10:00 PM EST”, and Sportsbook C as “22:00″.

What It Needs To Do:

- Periodically retrieve and store odds data (temporarily) from each of these sportsbook’s XML feed in a local database.
- option to set refresh time for each feed (some every30 seconds, while some every 5 minutes)
- Standardize the feed input somehow so odds can be compared (while each XML feed will contain essentially the same data, it will not necessarily be named/tagged the same way in each individual feed.)
- Output upcoming games and their odds on a page, matching any games that are the same among the different sportsbooks and displaying their odds side-by-side on the same column or row.
- We should be able to display odds selectively on different pages by sport and by time. For example, one page might show all football odds available for games in the next 24 hours. We don’t mind putting the individual pages together over here if you can let us know how to pull the particular odds in to each, perhaps by passing some sort of parameters in to your script)
- Odds should be viewable in both Fractional and Decimal format (User can choose either format.
- Odds data should be purged from the database after the event has stated so it doesn’t get unreasonably large.
- Integration with Joomla

Shurebet (arbitrage) area:
- showing shurebets or arbitrages is also needed
- option to select what type of shurebets show
- option for customer to create his own filters with formulas that calculates cross market profit.
- There should be a login area, where customer can apply his own filters. (Selection of sport, selection of bookmakers, minimal profit…)

The code should be reasonably manageable so we can get things looking right with the site.

I’m aware that this sort of things been done before – if you have an existing solution that’s demonstratable that would be ideal – we’re ready to buy if it does what’s needed.

I am interested in creating a website which will be based on news from other sites based on their rss news feeds. There will be a menu with categories, for example Music, Business, World, Sports, Politics, Technology, Science, Most popular, Video News etc. An example of a website similar to the one described in detail below is http://www.breitbart.com/
The content
In each category we will assign specific rss feeds from various sites.
There should be a mechanism which will read these feeds, combine theme in a single feed and present it within the category in chronological order.
It should be directly readable by the user (in an html format)
It should clearly show the source of the feed (for example www.cnn.com)
The feed will be clickable and if clicked the user will be transferred (in a new tab) to the complete article itself of the original website.
The feeds of each category are going to be decided by me (I have gathered 90% of theme)
There should be a mechanism with which it will be easy to add/remove categories as well as add/remove feeds. This must be done either from a program like Dreamweaver or another easy to use interface.
It should be able to show feeds which have pictures.
In my opinion, all this functionality can be done as follows. Every hour for example (or in any other time interval) the website should go through all the feeds and keep (download) the results in a database (within the website). These results (including all the words inside them) should be readable from the search engines/search engine friendly. I believe php and iframe are search engine friendly whereas javascript is not. In any way whichever way is easier, customizable, lighter and search engine friendly.
The layout
The layout should be similar to the one of a forum. For example http://greekddl.com . It should understand the settings of the users screen resolution and stretch the main body in the middle (only) accordingly end to end.
On top, the logo and some links (contact, help etc)

I would like a few things fixed/added with the script. This includes:

Fix issues with a few xml feeds. The script has the ability to add xml feeds via the control panel but few feeds need some tweaking to work.
For example:
Wagjag’s feeds have an image with a relative path, hence when displayed on my site no picture shows up.
or dealticker has Cdata within a tag so the script does not know what to do etc.
There are about 10 feeds that need some corrections.

The application will read a list of web page URLs from a file, go through each row by row, check that they contain a specified link within that web page, get rss feeds from them by means of the Feedage website (needs captcha bypass, for which I have an account at the two main services), then process these into a smaller number of rss feeds from the bulkping.com site, submit these to rss aggregators, put these into a ping site to ping them. The application stops after x number of Feedage feeds have been processed, x being the number input by the user at the start.

The application or utility will emulate a human worker, but it will be much quicker and without the boredom!

This project is in 3 stages which I have divided into 3 milestones for the sake of clarity.

Milestone 1

The user will input a file to the software.

Input file contains a list of web page address URLs in column A. The software will read the input file and check whether or not a link exists on that page (which is given in each case in column B). If the link is present the software writes ‘Found’ in column C. If the link is not found the software writes ‘Not Found’ in columns C.

The application will use a timer which pauses for a random number of seconds between each row.

The software will continue until there is no more data in column A.

The software will be capable of processing up to 4 files at the same time, and will output the completed file with the results.

The software will report on the progress that is being made in each file in real time.

Milestone 2

As above, except that instead of the software writing ‘Found’ and ‘Not Found’ the software will, for all web pages on which links are found, go to the Feedage website and get an RSS feed (entering a capture is necessary for this: I have an account with Decapture and Death by Captcha). The software will write the URL of this feed into column C.

The software will get x number of RSS feeds from Feedage, where x is a number which is input by the user when the file is input, prior to the running of the process.

If there is nothing in column B then the utility should get the RSS feed for the web page in column A anyway.

Milestone 3

As above, and additionally, every 20 Feedage feeds will be put into http://www.bulkping.com/rss-feed-generator-creator/index.php and turned into a Bulkping feed; this shall be written in column D.

This feed is then submitted to the RSS aggregator by using 950buy.com (all inputs in that process will be supplied on the input file).

This process will continue until the number of Feedage feeds is equal to x. If there are any Feedage feeds left over they, too, are put into http://www.bulkping.com/rss-feed-generator-creator/index.php and an additional Bulkping feed derived.

For all web page URLs for which links are found, all these are collected into a list and put into http://www.bulkping.com/ for mass pinging by that system. The Feedage feeds are also put into http://www.bulkping.com/

Finally, all Bulkping RSS feeds are added together, and the website feed’s own RSS feed (if supplied) and put into http://www.bulkping.com/rss-feed-generator-creator/index.php to produce a ‘master Bulkping RSS feed’. This is written in Column E at the foot of the file.

The Bulkping RSS feeds and the master Bulkping RSS feed is also put into http://www.bulkping.com/ for pinging.

The process will stop.

I know some of the sites are subscription based but I want to know if there is a way we can get our properties to upload to these site by a feed and not one by one .

so we upload our property to our CRM and upload and it goes to number of feeds but we do not have as many as this site so if you have the expertise to help us to reach these sites so our feed goes direct to them we would like you to bid on it for us?

Example of search options is optional, but i want output to be more sophisticated.

Like select month, or select airport , replace country code with country name )CA= Canada for example

so we can have options like a realtime ticket/vacation website and people than are forwarded to the merchants website

You really have to investigate the working of the module in the first place, import few data feeds which i can give you to test and play, to get the output i want.

This is also needed to get the data en extra options similar for all feeds.(one merchants uses another date format than the other)

We have a Magento website, which currently imports from XML feeds a number of products from suppliers
We require alterations to the scripts (php) that take the feeds and place the products into our database.

We need someone to examine the scripts we alrready have in place and to make alterastions as we require. Please contact me for more information as to the exact nature of these alterations.

We need various tweaks and bugfixes for the scripts we currently have, so a good amount of support will be required for us testing and pointing out where we need alterations, tweaks and bugs.

Bidders must be reliable and have a very good standard of English language, as some of the things we want to do may be very complicated and may not translate too well.

Please be famililar with XML Job Imports before bidding on this project!! I AM NOT INTERESTED IN JOB EXPORTS TO OTHER SITES… ONLY JOB IMPORTS TO MY SITE.

I am looking for you to do the following:

1) Import Jobs from Indeed, Simply Hired and other Job Boards which feed jobs from Job and Recruiting websites

a) The job board right now is empty. In order for me to attract employers and candidates, I need the ability to feed jobs from other boards onto this new site.

b) I already have the job categories and the job locations set up. I want very precise feeds going into each of the job categories and job locations. I NEED SOMEONE THAT CAN GET THIS VERY PRECISE AND UNDERSTANDS XML SO THAT THE CATEGORIES AND LOCATIONS ARE FILLED WITH JOBS THAT MAKE SENSE.

c) Once I start to get employers to start posting a decent amount of jobs in a particular job classification or particular job location, I NEED THE ABILITY TO TURN OFF THE FEED IN THAT PARTICULAR JOB CATEGORY OR PARTICULAR JOB LOCATION. In otherwords, I do not want a global feed for the whole board. I want individual feeds for each category so i can manually turn the feeds on and off.

d) I will need some sort of dashboard so i can manually turn the job feeds on and off. This could be a separate PHP page or other creative way (i dont know)… but i need a way to turn the feeds on and off that I can access from the admin backend.

Please again, be experienced with XML and PHP.
