I am looking for a search feature to be programmed for two of my websites. Needs to be simple to add to site, I use dreamweaver and will build the site around the search feature which is key to both websites, We are new to website construction so please use easy to understand terms, We have hosting package with server which uses Linx and database options – full details can be given
The search needs to be similair to the one on http://www.horsewizard.co.uk/ Horses for sale -search and also same idea but for house for sale like the website http://www.savills.co.uk/residentialsearch/home.aspx. I would need script for both projects and adding to the index pages along with setting up the database to manage the data. I also need the option for the horse website for the general public to add details of there horse for sale using form which automatically lists direct on site – horse type, price, and picture, minimum maintance. If you can help please contact me with a price.

Hi, the project is to add an invitation feature for my flash game Connect 4 on polargammon . com

On my website, in the “Online Users” box, there is a list of online users, we need to put an [Invite] next to all the player names.
When a player clicks on this to invite another player, a little dropdown menu saying
Connect 4
Backgammon
will appear, today we only make the connect 4 feature.

If the player clicks on Connect 4, he will send an invitation to the other player that will go in “Game Invitations”, which you can see the box on my website homepage.
In the box it will say for example: 12 Chico [Accept] [Decline]
12 is my level, provided by the database already, accept can be a green Check symbol and decline a Red “X”… For cosmetic purpose.

If the player that received the invitation clicks on Accept, both these player names will be inserted in a DB table and be redirected to the game window.
The table is ALREADY WORKING, we ONLY need to insert the 2 player names to the table, and they will be able to play after being redirected.

Some more details about this system:
- An invitation disapears after 5 minutes in the Game Invitations list.
- If one of the 2 players logs out, the invitation disapears for the player who is still online.
- When the match starts… The invitation for both players disapear of course.
- Maybe anything more you can think of would be great.

Perhaps also we should use AJAX to notify the players they had an invite, and players can either decline or accept pop up notifications.

If the player declines the popup notif., he will still receive the invites but in the Game invitations list, quietly.

The project would be to add an invitation feature on my website www. POLARGAMMON .com for connect 4.

Actually, the players use an AutomaticMatchMaking system, that automatically find a suitable opponent for them.

What I want now though, is that the players will be able to invite other players that are online, through the Online users list already avaiable on the website.

Next to each player’s name there will have [Invite], players can click this to send an invitation to the other player, the player who receives the invitation will see it through the “GAME INVITATIONS” box which you can also see on polargammon. The invitation can look like (Level)Playername[Accept][Decline]

The received can either accept or decline the invitation. Can be some symbol for accept and an X for decline…

When the receiver accepts, the game pops up. (The game is already created, a flash game).

The invitations should stay in the Game Invitations box until one of the 2 players Logout of the website, and automatically disapear after 5 minutes if the received hasn’t accepted or declined.
The players can accept multiple invitations at the same time, to play more than 1 game at a time.

The statistics also need to be outputted to mysql, which is already working now.

Fast and easy job for someone who knows what he’s doing…

I have an Excel listing ‘things’ with preview pictures (/images/name.jpg). There’s around 70.000 items in my excel.

I would like to have a searchable website based on this listing.
Furthermore I would need:

- Simple admin to manage the database through browser (update/upload/delete etc.)
- User accounts with basic user info
- User admin functionality
- localization possibility
- rating feature for the items
- commenting feature for the items
- private/public tagging feature for the items.

The basics for the site has been already done (db, searchability, ratings) – so this is kind of rebuild of existing site…
