We run a physical shop in the uk selling womenswear and we have decided to convert it to an online business. We are looking for an experienced marketer who has experience in the retail side of things preferably fashion retail.
Our aim is to maximize our online presence via search optimization, facebook and twitter. Also a presence on the fashion blogs around the UK.
Obviously we are aware of the many bogus marketers out there (no offence) so we would be requiring proof of work done prior to payment.
basically the idea will be, drive traffic to our site and we both happy.

We have an existing site in Joomla and Virtue Mart, we need to polish the look and feel with updated graphic design. We also need to update and integrate the shopping cart with the merchant service account, currently not functioning. The website is over 50% complete, and we are going to add functionality, would like an image rotator on home page, update images, which we have, lead capture opt-in, facebook links. I am a novice web designer/developer going to school, and I took on a project that involves a little bit more then I can handle!! I have a client who needs something fancy!! He wants a flash splash page that has zippers raining down inside a portrait frame!! Then the rest of the site can be created using just simple CSS/HTML the layout should be three portrait frames and then a shopping cart for his items!! I have the wireframes for it if needed!! Lawyers, Use Defendants, Plaintiffs anything associated with a court room and legal stuff but incorporate fashion into it. Be creative and imagintive.
