Attached, I have an Excel file that holds contact information. I need a programmer to pull the data from this list for email purposes.

I have extracted the list; I just need to have the data extracted into the different Excel cells.

Pretty straight forward project, shouldn’t cost more than $30 from other projects I saw posted on other bidding sites.

We need to extract some data from websites (none of which is password protected), as follows:

a) Data delivered in .xls files. These data are structured at the website and where each column corresponds to a field from database. The database has two long text fields, wich will have to be extracted to text files related with each record. We’ll give to selected programmer the urls from which data will be extracted. Only the documents that meet at least one of three key words must be retrieved. The .xls files must be delivered grouped by the url from where they originated.

b) Data delivered in document format (for instance, .doc, .mht or readable .pdfs). We’ll give to selected programmer the urls from which data will be extracted. In just one case, you must do first a search by a string and afterwards you should extract all documents meeting that search. The documents must be delivered grouped by the url from where they originated.

In total, we’re ing about extraction from 25 urls (not 25 websites).

Previous experience on these kind of job will be much appreciated.

We’ll escrow bid’s total ammount before project begins.

The sites will need to be spidered constantly so that any updated odds can be reported dynamically.
All data extracted will need to reference the site it was extracted from.
The data will then need to be entered into a database where it can be further sorted.

In advanced search I will provide about 100 postal codes and need data extracted by birth date from “1990″, “1989″, … to “1980″.

- I need the name in bold in a separate field when you extract. Very important!

- And if the search is on postal code “11414″ add the “11414″ in the end of the extracted data.

Task:

(1) Create a Java library which supports Flash media content by
- opening of local files
- retrieval of remote streams
- parsing of the file & stream formats
- extracting the audio and video data

This project does not aim to implement a Flash player. The goal is merely to open and parse Flash content (both locally and streaming), and extract the audio and video data.

(2) Create the plugins required for playback of the decoded audio and video content within the JMF framework.

- to feed the extracted raw data streams into existing JMF components (or into respective interfaces if the decoders do not yet exist)

Deliverables:

(1) Before you start coding, you should deliver a complete analysis of
- file formats
- streaming formats
- audio and video formats
- capabilities and potential re-use of existing OS software

(2) Based on your analysis, you should specify supported features of the library (media formats, technical features like HTTP and RTMP streams, functional aspects like progressive download and seek)

(3) The implementation should be completed with a set of test cases which would demonstrate the support of various popular online video sites (we would discuss the details offline).
