Minimize Size Of Css File On Wp Site

October 10th, 2011 Comments off

My adsense account recommends that I minimize the size of CSS on my www.melatoninsideeffects.org wp site. Overall page speed score is 70 out of 100.

Suggestions for site from adsense:

The following cacheable resources have a short freshness lifetime. Specify an expiration at least one week in the future for the following resources:

Classified/auction Job Posting Site With Time Expiration

Classified/Auction Job Posting site with time expiration display features and sortable listings by time: ending soonest and time: newly listed

We need some help in developing our Job posting site. We need somebody who can create us a site where we can post Jobs with time expiration and links for every posting to be specified by us( with edit and delete option). Once the Job is already posted on the site visitors will be able search the site by newly posted(default option) and ending soonest order.

The data entry form should contain the following fields (Administrator access only)
1. Date posted
2. Job Name
3. Job Description
4. Job expiration Date (For the Job expiration countdown clock)
5. Button Link input field (for every Job posting will have a

Free Bids/paid Bids Plugin

July 17th, 2011 Comments off

We have a penny auction site and we need someone or a team to develop a plugin for bids such as the one on beezid.com. This plugin must recognize Free bids(registration bids), Promo Bids(coupon bids), and paid bids(bid pack bids) and also give us the ability to control which auctions ‘free & promo bids’ can be used on as well as give us the power to give them an expiration date. The requested plugin must be accompanied by a coupon system that allows me to limit coupon code usage, per guest usages, expiration, and ‘Free’ bid expiration. I also need a system that makes guest pay for wins with ‘paid’ bids and not with a credit card or PayPal.

WordPress Post Expiration Script

April 23rd, 2011 Comments off

Bidders

I am currently using a WordPress post expiration script from the following website http://j3webworks.com/blog/wordpress-make-posts-expire-or-auto-delete

I need 2 modifications to the script, in order for it to function properly for MY site.

The changes are as follows:

1. Make an option for a post to NEVER expire
2. Make it so that any user except ADMIN cannot see the expiration menu, and set the default to 30 days for all users.

I’m willing to pay between $10-30, depending on a working demo, current reputation on scriptlance and any extra’s you may think of that would help my site.

Jeremy

P.S

Unless you have a WORKING DEMO of the script, OR 50+ feedback and 95%+ rating DO NOT BID. I will delete all bids that do not meet these criteria!

Pdf Widget

February 10th, 2010 Comments off

I’m willing to pay $130-$200 for this. It needs to be coded so it works on any type of site, .net, php, coldfusion, etc.

So maybe ajax or java script would work. I’m not sure what computer language works on all types of sites.

I need a widget made that will be able to compare all uploaded .pdf’s and find form field similarities and differences. It must have the ability to name/rename and map any new fields to an automatically created database table. The application must be able to dynamically create front-end forms and prompt end-users for further input as needed and break the input into milestones indicated with a progress bar. Much like unlocking songs on Guitar Hero (I love that game :P ), once all the forms with the same info are able to be populated with data the remaining ones stay grayed-out and organized by form field differences until the appropriate amount of data has been input and submitted by the end-user. Some parts of the data will be encrypted and decrypted as needed, such as, social security numbers. There are two main roles, admin and end-user. Standard admin features are required along with the ability to upload .pdf files and extract the form field meta-data information and easily edit/rename and map the fields to their corresponding database information so they can be filled with the stored user’s data. There will also need to be included andy appropriate language-independent API’s for third party partners to easily import collected information into their existing systems.

The end-user will also upload files that will be appended to the output .pdf. Some of these uploaded files will include images of certifications that include expiration dates. The end user needs to have and option to enter an expiration date range to be alerted at intervals when these certifications are about to expire. With a default alert time at six months prior to expiration and another at three months prior to expiration.

It would be a code snippet that could be auto generated that they could easily copy and paste into their site’s code. Obviously it would need some basic security features and once logged-in display only their office/corporate .pdf’s and forms. A good example is iContact (iContact.com).

We would use a similar code snippet/widget on our own site to sign people up and/or log people into the application (in case their own site is down for some reason). Should be kinda simple especially if people use their email address as a user name.

That way no matter where they log-in through us directly or through a widget on their own site the application would be able to deliver the proper view to the client. Please correct me if I have missed something.

It would be able to just insert this snippet/widget into a terapad website and dress it up a little. The login widget would then securely log users into the application wherever we end up hosting it.

It’s essential it is very secure. The widget would be embedded in other people’s site. They would be able to view their own .pdf files/input forms (specific to their office needs) when they login.

Coupon Expiration Date Error

January 12th, 2010 Comments off

Hi,

For some reason the expiration date entered as when the coupon would expire is not displayed, but rather the date it was created. It must be a simple task for a professional and easy fix for somebody who wishes to earn a fast great review.

Must have yahoo or google IM for communications.

Need to do immediately. Look at the attached file to check the site.

Thanks.

Repair Feature

I have this feature on my site where members can become a premier member by paying a 1 time membership fee. This feature is suppose to appear for new accounts only and expires in 2 weeks. The feature is not showing up anymore after logging in. I need someone to fix this to make sure the feature is displayed after logging in. Please review the code below:

$expiration_date = explode('-', $expiration_date);
$expiration_date = $expiration_date[1].'-'.$expiration_date[2].'-'.$expiration_date[0];

list ($dia2, $mes2, $año2) = split("-", date("d-m-Y", strtotime($fecha2)));

Please be able to fix this right now. Thank you!

Zen Cart – Create Account Mods

August 31st, 2009 Comments off

I need to add Four (4) additional input fields to the “Create Account” form on Zen Cart. Obviously these need to be added to the database, admin and reports sections as well. Also, one of the fields is for an ID expiration date and I need the system to send email reminders to customers that their expiration date on their ID is about to expire. If they do not re-enter their new ID info before the expiration date, I need them shut out (but not deleted) and forced to re-activate their account.

Multiple Loops – Category Page

August 17th, 2009 Comments off

I need two loops on my category pages (archive.php).

The first loop should display posts from the designated category that have not yet passed their expiration date. This expiration date will be pulled from a custom field within each post. In many cases, this custom field will contain the value “Ongoing”, and those posts should continue to display in that loop.

The second loop should display posts from the designated category that have passed their expiration dates. I would like this set up in such a way as to allow me to be able to modify the second loop’s display using CSS.

Expiration Date Script

July 7th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for a script that I can use to create expiration dates on my web pages. So it will be today + X (so that I can change X for each page that it will go on) and the viewer will see the date of 3 days from now.

IE: if today is July 7, 2009 the viewer will see July 10, 2009

I would like to be able to adjust the script for the next page to show 2 days from now, and run mini-countdowns inside of multiple web pages.

Classified Ads With A Kick

Classified Ads With a Kick, For a Particular Product Line

This website will deal with a specific type of product, which I will keep confidential for the time being. The type of product involved does typically have an expiration date. The site’s primary content will be “descriptions” of many of the hundreds of products that fall within this product line we are dealing with. These descriptions may be created by admins or by registered users of the site. Users will attach free classified advertisements called “tickets” to these descriptions. The site will initially begin with no content at all. All content will be added by the site admin (me), or users. Users will have an eBay-style private message area where they may receive and respond to messages from site admin and other users they are completing a deal with. A blog and community forum will also be attached to the site.

The site must be compatible with IE 6, 7, 8, and Firefox. An per-existing or custom content management system will be necessary in order to allow me to make changes when necessary. The CMS must afford differing levels of control between system admins and site moderators. Written in Pphp using a LAMP setup (Linux, Apache, MySql, php). I would like the ability to add one-line text ads throughout the page. I would like to be able to add Google AdWords text ads on the sides of the page.

The timeframe for completion is 3 and one half months, with a two week beta testing period.

Please provide separate quotes for coding, design, and both together. You may separate the optional items or include them in the quote as you wish.

The descriptions will include the following information: product title, product description, retail price, optional link to corresponding forum post, optional expiration date, optional links to product info, and number of completed sales of this product on the website IF greater than zero. This sales number will of course be dynamic content. There will also be a place for users to vote the described product up or down. A description may only be edited by the creator, the site admin, or a moderator that the admin has assigned.

The home page will show various featured product descriptions. There will be a search box to search for product descriptions by key word(s). The search results may then be sorted by the following fields: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, and Expired. Continue reading for descriptions of these fields.

The home page will have navigation tabs at the top, which sort the descriptions in different ways for the user. The tabs will be: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, Regional, and Expired. When clicking on a tab, the entire web page will change. I would like to limit the use of AJAX and advanced technologies. No Flash is to be used.

Here are how the descriptions are sorted either by clicking tabs, or by sorting a key word search:

-Featured: Description order is determined by internal site administrator (me)
-Popular: Products described that have the most completed sales on our website come first (see below for more information on how this sales process works)
-Rating – The product description’s rating as voted by users. Users points may be weighted (see below under optional items).
-Newest – Most recently added descriptions
-Most Available – Descriptions with the most classified ads (tickets) attached to them
-Regional – Clickable map above. Below, sorted by state and then city with a number in parentheses showing how many offers exist for the particular city. Cities can be added.

Connected to the descriptions will be free classified advertisements called Tickets. The site will enable registered users (free registration) to post free classified tickets for the exact product in the description if they have one that they would like to sell. In the same way, users may also post a tickets under a product description if they are looking to buy one of the described products.

Tickets will include the following information:
-Product Title – This is automatically populated from the description that the new ticket is being connected to
-Link to the “Description” the ticket is associated with. Again, this is automatically populated.
-”For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” designation
-Price (determined by creator of ticket – This can be the same or different from the retail price on the description
-Payment methods accepted or offered, depending on whether it is a “For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” ticket. (eg. PayPal, Google Checkout, personal check)
-Any information that will be needed or given upon completion of the sale (ex. Name and address, telephone number, etc.)
-Detailed user score information – This is the score of the individual posting the ticket. It is derived from e-Bay style feedback from other users in prior transactions.
-The creating user’s ID or name will be kept anonymous at this stage

After you click on a product description, you will see the tickets below it that users have added that are associated with that product. If there are more “For Sale” tickets, these will show first, and there will be a tab to click for “Looking to Buy” tickets. If there are more “Looking to Buy” tickets, then the opposite will take place. There will be a couple of boxes you can check above the tickets to select “show only FOR SALE tickets” or “show only LOOKING TO BUY tickets”.

Users will then have the ability to sort tickets after clicking into a product description. They can sort by the following fields:
-Ticket creator’s user score high to low
-Ticket creator’s user score low to high
-Ticket price high to low
-Ticket price low to high

When a user accepts a ticket (ex. They want to buy a product offered in a “For Sale” ticket), the original creator of the ticket (not necessarily the creator of the description) is notified and asked if they would also like to accept. This gives them a chance to look at the receiving party’s detailed user score before completing the transaction. The receiving party is also kept anonymous at this stage.

If the offering party accepts:

-Both parties are prompted to make payment of our fee to the website. The fee will initially be heavily discounted for the first months of site operation, but they need to see that in the future, the fee will be the greater of $2 or 10% of the product cost. We will accept payment via PayPal or Google Checkout, including credit cards used via either of these payment gateways,
-When payment is made, usernames are revealed to the two parties, and the two users may begin to communicate through messaging each other in the user message area (not the forum messaging area) to exchange pertinent information.
-User messages must be automatically filtered to prevent the exchanging of email addresses, etc.
o If attempting to submit a message with a filtered word/s, the writer gets a
notice telling them “Unless you wish to edit, the following words will be
removed from your post in accordance with our terms..” The removed words
will be highlighted in red in the message. They will then have the option
to click “Edit” or “Submit”. An alert with the original message as typed
before filtering will be sent to the board moderator and site admin for
their information.
-The two parties are able to rate each other any time after payment. Ratings will include:
o An overall rating of one to five stars
o Sub-category ratings (these do not affect the overall rating)
_ Timeliness of money transferred
_ Accuracy of the ticket information
_ Communication
o An optional text review of 140 characters or less
-The two parties’ ratings of each other are not published until BOTH RATINGS have been submited, unless:
o If the receiving party’s rating has been submitted for 5 full calendar days
already with no rating submitted from the offering party. In this case, the
receiving party’s rating is published and the offering party no longer has
the opportunity to rate the receiver.
o If the receiving party never completes a rating, then no ratings will be
published, even if the offering party has submitted a rating to be
published.

If the offering party does not accept the receiver, the offering party is asked if they need to block this kind of offer or this user in the future, leading them to a new page
-Offering party may block
o the same offer from the same user,
o and/ or the user altogether,
o and/ or the same offer from all users

User Forum considerations
-users can add to each others’ forum reputation scores as at slickdeals.net user forum
-separate forum private messages
-filters on posts and private messages (with clear warnings as in the main site user messages above)
-free registration
-normal forum capabilities for registered users – search, avatar, etc.

Optional Items

*Even if these items are not implemented initially, the site must be constructed so that they may be added later if desired.

-The ability to add a ticket to your “Watching” list of tickets you want to consider for the future.
-A link beside the search box for “Ticket Search” where you may search only tickets b(not descriptions) by a key word(s)
-If a product expires before the expiration date, a user can tag the description as expired through a link on the description that says “Mark as Expired”. When this is done, a statement in red text will be put on the description that says “A user has tagged this product description as expired. Please vote it expired or active here.” The product will become expired when it reaches a certain number of votes of expiration from users. If the point balance goes to zero or a negative number from people voting it active, the warning in red will go away.
-Safari compatibility is a plus.
-The ability to change the site’s background/ wallpaper from time to time is a bonus.
-When users vote on the rating of an offer, or whether an offer is expired, their points are weighted. Here are things that give weight to a user’s vote:
o 10 points for completed sales transaction
o If 4 stars user rating, multiply transaction points by 2. If 5 stars,
multiply by 3

o 2 points for each level of Forum Rating attained
o 1 point for each portion of a year as a user
o 1 point for each 10 Forum posts
- User’s points can be set to 0 by admin if I don’t want their vote to count.

Graphic Design Considerations

-The “For Sale” And “Looking To Buy” tickets should be differing colors.
-A female graphic artist is preferable.
-no Adobe Flash
-appealing to both genders and a variety of ages and demographics
-clean looking
-offers should be enclosed in an empty, rounded rectangle
-tickets should be enclosed in the shape of a luggage tag
-minimal javascript if any
-800 pixel fixed width – non-scaling, but with a backdrop/ wallpaper color or pattern behind it
-pleasing color scheme, with colors used to highlight important areas of the page
-logo stands out, is trademarked and integrated with surrounding graphics and slogan
o I can provide some direction on the logo
-rounded corners
-shading and reflection for depth
-good use of white space
-unique, eye-catching
-very obvious search bar
-possible use of elements from US paper currency
-favicon

o If the receiving party’s rating has been submitted for 5 full calendar days
already with no rating submitted from the offering party.

-favicon

Stocks And Options Tables

June 9th, 2009 Comments off

I run an investment newsletter that deals in dividend-paying stocks. I need someone to create 2 types of tables:
1. Dividend Yield tables- A table that would show current price data, (20-minute updates approx.), from the web, for specific predetermined stocks, their dividends paid per share, and their 52-week range. The tables would give the annualized yields for the dividends, and also a risk factor rating that I would input.
I want to list different tables for different industry sectors.

2. Call option calculator- A table that would show:
-current price data, (20-minute updates approx.), for specific predetermined stocks from Table 1
- their dividends paid per share prior to the option expiration date
- the annualized yield of these dividends
- specific call options’ strike price, symbol, expiration date
- the current bid price of these options
- the annualized yield of these call options.
- the sum of the annualized dividend yield and call option yield, referred to as “Total Static Yield”
- the potential annualized yield if the stock were “assigned”, (sold), at a call option strike price higher
than the current price/share
- the sum of the static yield plus the potential annualized yield, referred to as “Total Potential Yield”

3. Put option calculator- A table that would show:
- current stock price data, (20-minute updates approx.),for specific predetermined stocks from Table 1
- their dividends paid per share prior to the option expiration date
- the annualized yield of these dividends
- specific put options’ strike price, symbol, expiration date
- the current bid price of these put options
- the cash requirement for these put options -(simply the strike price x 100)
- the annualized yield of these put options

4. A “Public User” version of the 2 above calculators, in which a visitor to my website would be able to
enter up to 3 different stocks and compare their yields.

I need to be able to input various stocks and put and call options into the tables on a daily/weekly basis.
I use a Mac. My website is currently with a Mac-based host, but, this could be altered, if necessary. Please advise.

There are other tables that I’d like to incorporate in the future, but for now, I’d like to start with these.

Reinstall&setup Aec Component

April 1st, 2009 Comments off

Hi,

I’m having some problem on setting up the Account Expiration Control (AEC) componet.
Everything should work fine, but when I try to register the new account, it was put in Pending status in AEC.
And when login with that username, I got two plans for the user: “Your Membership” and “Further Memberships”
see attached image: fresh_re-install_aec_trimmed.gif

So, it look like AEC is messed up now. I think it’s better to clean install the AEC component again, and set everything up to work correclty.
I would like you to fresh re-install the Account Expiration Control (AEC) component and make sure you set up everything correctly.

There’re two plans:

Free Membership:
- free to join, last for 1 year, so they must renew their membership to make their account active.
- can upgrade to Full Month Access anytime they want.
- limit access to only “Elliott Wave Patterns” and “Archived Charts”

Full Month Access:
- $99.95 to join, last for 1 full month.
- pay through ClickBank gateway. (I do have ClickBank gateway script)
- full access to “Intraday Charts” and “Daily Charts” and all acess of Free membership.
- when expired, must fall back to Free Membership.

Once there is a new member register, do the following.
– send out email containing their username and password, their joining plan, joining date, expiration date.
I think we can set these from AEC setting page or from Community Builder.
—— Free member: send once the registration completed
—— Full Month Access: send once the payment is completed.

Please let’s me know how much would it cost to do this, and what exactly time it take to do it.
If it’s okay, I’ll send you a link to my website, so you can see and test it.

Best Regards,
Pasapum
