Health Exercise Diet Logo

November 5th, 2011 Comments off

Hi,

I’m looking for a strong but simple logo that reflects health, exercise and a healthy diet. The focus is a holistic, natural and integrative diet and lifestyle program.

I would prefer a single color or just 2 colors.

Thanks,
Simon

Beginner C#/xna(3.1) Assignments

October 18th, 2011 Comments off

The projects are already done and included. You only need to make the listed changes to the respective .cs files. This doesn’t need to look professional — it’s just a beginner college-level assignment.

Assignment 1

Exercise 2: Change the behavior of the rock so that it doesn’t move in a straight line.

Exercise 3: Add collision code that prevents the rocket from leaving the screen.

Program attached: MGH04_2DGame.zip (use the Win_2DGame project file)

Assignment 2

Exercise 3: Transform your propeller so it serves as a rotor for a helicopter. Using the same set of vertices, write another procedure to transform and render the same rectangle used for the main rotor as a back rotor.

Programs attached: MGH07_EarthAndMoon.zip (use the MGH07_Win_EarthAndMoon project file)

Assignment 3

Exercise 5: Create a building and apply textures to the sides. Add a billboarded tree, cactus, or flower that you create with transparency.

Attached programs: MGH09_Billboarding.zip (use the MGH09_Win_Billboarding project file)

Assignment 4

Exercise 3: Replace the primitve objects in the airplane example with an airplane model and propeller model that you create in MilkShape. When you create the airplane model, be sure to use only one image for the texture.

Attached programs: MGH08_DirectionMatrix.zip (use the MGH08_Win_DirectionMatrix project file)

For this assignment, you’ll need MilkShape: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MilkShape_3D

Complex Excel Workout Tracker

February 24th, 2010 Comments off

I want a program that functions like Ifitness for Iphone.

Functionality is:

1. Choose an exercise
2. Track exercise progress on it (max weights, max reps etc..)
3. A sheet that will manage goals and stats
4. (Optional) – Ability to select exercises to make a “workout” or set of exercises.
5. When looking at an exercise page, see a birds eye view of exercise history, and progress on a specific goal.

I want this to be usable for mobile devices that can use excel.

I am also curious if this can be protected from distribution like a program.

Goal List Exercise

January 18th, 2010 Comments off

Attached is a goal list exercise that I would like to make into an online program. I welcome ideas on how to best do this, but for the sake of quoting I am looking for something that is very visual and interactive. Something probably written in Java (though I am not locked into Java) that takes the participant step-by-step through the exercise. The information gathered will need to be stored in a database for later access and graphically displayed on a website for each participant.

Find Fitness Videos & Images

September 3rd, 2009 Comments off

I have a need to find videos and images showing how to perform approximately 60 different exercises for use on a web site and within an instructional ebook.

You will be provided with a list of the exercises (along with details of any equipment being used) and for each of these exercises you will need to find:

1) Photograph(s) clearly showing how the exercise should be performed. Depending on the exercise, multiple photographs may be required to show each of the stages/steps involved.

2) Video clearly demonstrating how to perform the exercise.

Notes:

1) All media located must be freely usable/downloadable (i.e. do not provide links to images and/or videos that need to be purchased) and royalty free (no royalties to be paid for usage).

2) The images/videos must not contain any existing advertising and/or branding

If you are unable to source photographs/videos for all of the exercises listed you will be paid on a pro-rata basis based on the number you have been able to find.

Delivery of images/videos can either be direct to me, or via working links to where they can be downloaded from.

Prototype Of “lg E-learning”

May 23rd, 2009 Comments off

Important note:
I will be using LG as a project name, however it does not imply in any way any association with the Korean electronics giant. I want everybody to be clear because some had inquired about it. NO RELATION.

LG in it’s simplest form is just a quiz-like interactive learning software. LG asks a question and user responses. The asking and responses are done in a number of possible formats: text, graphical, video, or voice. If the response is voice (it’s established beforehand what kind of response to expect) LG will record it for a specified and limited amount of time. The scope of this PROTOTYPE PROJECT is only limited to voice response.

In relation to my other project (LG e-learning website), which is actually the same project, I will simplify my requirements so that it will only include limited functionality and serve as a demo-version/prototype. It will serve to demonstrate the following aspects:
- It displays exercise questions and records student’s answer in an efficient manner. No noticeable delay in between. i.e. At the end of a question the program will automatically turn to recording mode and instantly ready to record the student’s answer. It would help to have an “ON AIR” red-light that comes on the screen to signal that recording has started. At the end of the time limit the “ON AIR” light goes out and recording is stopped.
- How well you design the interface. Rule of thumb, simple is better. So a 7-or-67-year-old can get right on it with little difficulties.
- Ample space between items, big buttons for use with touch screen interface.
- Use of color to give a nice consistent theme throughout the design. At the same time use it sparingly, or in other words, only when you want to signify something or draw attention to a certain item/part of the screen. Remember, it’s education, contemporary/contrast (as opposed to classic/old, subdued, dimmed), clean straightforward letters, bright (white background is ALMOST a must).
- How well you utilize the screen real-estate especially when it comes to the teacher grading screen. As a mentioned in the other project’s post, the teacher screen must be very efficent and highly functional to accomodate the workload of grading a vast number of students’ exercise. As this is just a prototype you can just mock-up some icons and explain what they do (better yet, self-explanatory) without having to program anything into it. However (YOU MUST PROGRAM) the listening to students’ answers and be able to assign a right/wrong tag to it MUST BE DONE and be fully working. Again here, I will see how fast your code is responding as such that, human-operator is the limiting factor as far as speed is concerned.
- Anything else beyond the above-mentioned will be left upon your discretion as well as creativity as seasoned programmers tend to incorporate their signature into and take pride in their work. I trust that you will deliver above and beyond expectation. Happy Bidding FOR PROTOYPE ONLY.

Exercise Instructions

March 23rd, 2009 No comments

This Job is Quick and easy. I pay quickly and on time, pay-pal is the main method of payment delivery. Heres a description of the Job Details.

I have 2 Excel files and 1 word doc.

Excel file titled (LIST OF INDIVIDUAL WORKOUTS.xls) contains a list of fitness workouts. Excel file titled (ExerciseCSV-2.xls) is where I need you to transfer the different types of workouts from (LIST OF INDIVIDUAL WORKOUTS.xls into the second excel document (ExerciseCSV-2.xls) the workouts should be in exact order copying each one from the workouts list in excel.
Here’s the major portion of the task.
1) The name of the workout (copy and paste) very easy!
2) The instructions to perform each exercise. (Search and Describe each workout creating instructions which follows the format included at the beginning of the word file called “workout template.”
3) Find all the body parts involved and simply list them in excel doc 2.
4) list the equipment needed for the workout. (piece of equipment. barbell, bench, dumbell etc. If no equipment select enter “no”)
5) Indoor or outdoor, whether or not the exercise is indoor or outdoor based.
you will easily see where the information goes once you open the excel doc.

Also I will give you several resource pages to help assist you during your search efforts. This also re assures quality of content.
