We are hoping to add a few features to our current website. We currently have a multi-vendor ecommerce website that we are planning to launch in the near future. Our website is similar to the Etsy concept, but a much simpler version with a different niche. We would like to some additional features to our current website, which are very similar to a few of the features used on Etsy.com. We already have an admin panel and a functional website and would like to build on that. Here is a summary of what we are looking for in the project. We will definitely provide a more detailed version to look over prior to accepting a bid.

1. Ability for sellers to setup their own shop with an individual shop domain (i.e. http://username.mydomain.com). We would like to implement a feature similar to the one used by Etsy.

2. Setup complete Seller account management. This will allow the sellers to manage their accounts efficiently. This would include sections such as: Product section with sub sections (i.e. currently listed, etc.), store setup section w/subsections, etc.

3. Setup complete Buyer account management with subsections.

4. Give our current version of the website a more polished and professional look.

5. Provide a feedback section (buyers and Sellers) similar to what is used by Etsy.

6. Forum: We would like to revamp our current forum setup. We would like to implement a forum format similar to artfire.com. We really like the setup that they use. Again, this is not something we want to copy. We just want to implement a similar layout, but one that fits our current design.

The second app is needed so new shop owners can import items from their current stores, in either/ both of Etsy or www.madeit.com.au, into a new marketplace. The app will need to grab as much information, on each item currently listed, from their current store as is possible (ie. item name, item description, item photos, item pricing etc) with the seller filling out missing information as required, in a straightforward manner – I can provide a complete list of what there is and you can see what you can get to.

Also remove the left side category that lists the jobs and move up the Areas. From the menu bar, remove the area menu. Users should also have the option to easily renew their listings. Standard listings will be active for 15 days, we want them to be able to double the original listing time for a slight discount. (For example, you can list for 15 days for .30 or 30 days for .50)

And we would also like to have featured listings available to users for an upcharge. This means they would be listed on the front page for a block of time for a set fee.

Finally, we would like to have an option to easily add some sort of advertising to the site. We aren’t sure that we will use this, but maybe!
