Looking to build a prototype eBook reading interface that can handle ePub/HTML files. It should allow the user to read a book online, including feature placeholders for a Table of Contents, a Search feature, and other navigation.

I would like these converted properly with hyper-links for the chapters etc… There maybe some Hebrew mixed into the English, so you must be familiar with this as well as it will have to be included.

We need to come up with a _simple_ epub reader demo for Android (ver >= Froyo)

The epub reader demo should allow for:
1. simple selection of epub boos from /sdcard/books folder (as list, or by writing the book’s name into a text box – either way)
2. Once a book is selected the reader should display it in full screen one page at the time
3. A lower panel will contain 4 buttons :
3.1. next – move to next page
3.2. prev – move to prev page
3.3. larger – make fonts larger
3.4. smaller – make fonts smaller
4. Both horizontal and vertical displays should be supported
5. Both HVGA (480×800) & qHD (960×540) screen resolutions should be supported

It will be fast and easy to use with minimal steps
It will have a simple yet attractive gui,
Before providing the converted file it will show it as a preview, and within the software if text is in the wrong place or images are not aligned right, it will allow for changes to be made before it completes conversion ( BASICALLY, everything should be on its own page and in correct alignment like it is in a pdf or doc file )
It will have a simple install, with a licence agreement, and it will allow it to appear in start menu and create an icon on the desktop, along with an uninstall to remove it completely from the computer, startup and desktop.
Have a section for Help
It must work on windows platforms, you must be able to test

It must allow for the person to be able to create a front cover from the 1st page and back cover from last page, or allow them to select an image for either. As well as giving them the option of not selecting a front or back cover ( I can show a program that is similiar )

The epub and mobi files should be able to be viewed nicely on kindle, nook, ipad etc….. devices that support the epub and mobi formats

It must be complete, fully tested within 1 month max ( no longer )

Full release of funds will occur once I have seen a bug free working copy. ( if you have to create a video to show me it working then so be it but I will have to see it working and output nice before release of funds )

Preference will be given to

1. Price first and foremost
2. History of having created applications
3. Those will to be available for future upgrade projects
4. Those who offer after purchase support for a period of time.

All copyright will be mine, I will retain all source code

You will be required to sign an NDA and send it back to us.

I will escrow in 25% at the start to have you start and then 25% after i see demo, then final amount after demo for completition, you will need to show something ( you can do it by video/screencam ) of your progress each week
