Everyone I need a simple PHP Script ( 1 files script ) . I don’t need any GUI or anything.
The Script should do the following:
1. I set a string in a variable.
2. It should encode the string ( Preferably in CP1251 or any other encoding if you believe it will work )
3. The output after encoding should be echo to the screen.
Both the echo of Input and Output should be 100% same in the web browser however when I look into the source code of the page it should show the encoded characters in the source code.
For example:
Input: are
Output on browser: are
Output page source code: & # 1 0 7 2 ; r e
Input: the
Output on browser: the
Output page source code: t h & # 1 0 7 7 ;
( I have added spaces between each character the browser would make it look like the original text )

The Project needs to construct a Huffman encoding table and print out the encoding table in debug format. The actual compression is unessential. The Project will, however need to conform to the specifications of the Perl implementation, starter code, and psuedo code will be given and must be used. The project should not contain memory leaks and should conform to gnu99 standards.

I used the encoding method in this script to make me a desktop application which converts my source videos to flv and then i upload them on my clip-share wesbite which saves me a lot of bandwidth.
Now my source has changed, previously it was SD and now it is HD, the main differences are resolution and AAC Audio.

I need you to look into the x264mod and my application code, then adjust the application encoding parameters to HD profile instead of SD. current app is a jar file and i do have source file as well. I dont mind if u can make it in another language as long as it works on windows.

We have been working on a set of PHP scripts that output short A4 documents to advertise real estate.
There are 3 variations of the same document, in each of the following languages:
English
German
Spanish
Combined English/German/Spanish
So in total there are 12 document versions.
Our system uses the FPDF library to format and produce the documents.
It also uses the UFPDF extension to handle the European language encoding in UTF-8.
The problem we have is that the only font provided with UFPDF does not format well and corrupts the output. It is not proportionally spaced.
The fonts we need to use in each document are standard “Times New Roman” and “Arial”.
Due to the necessity to output full UTF-8 encoding for the European character sets, we have been unable to resolve this issue.
We need somebody to modify our scripts and/or provide working fonts so that our documents output correctly.
Attached is a sample PDF output by our scripts. You should immediately see the problem with the fonts.
Please only bid if you are experienced with PDF creation using PHP. You must also be very experienced with UTF-8 encoding and European languages.
We have no time to be lost for you to experiment in the hope of finding a solution. You must already be experienced in this work and be able to provide a quick solution.

A GMmap is populated (parsed) by a xmldata. XML children contains HTML which is displayed thru openInfoWindowHtml() method.
Because of problem displaying HTML currently the function unescapeHTML(); Prototype Framework is used.
But this means extra overhead in JS. Need solution without Prototype Framework.

I have a custom blog program that is having problems with invalid characters appearing in the RSS feed and Homepage. When a person creates a new blog post in the admin section, they copy and paste from MS Word sometimes. Word has a lot of different invalid characters that corrupt the web page and the rss feed. I need someone who knows how to handle different encoding types.
The text data needs to be encoded upon submission of the post in the admin page in a standard encoding format for storage in the mysql database. The web site output is ISO-8859-1 and the RSS feed output is UTF-8. So there needs to be an encoding check and conversion when the text is submitted to the database. There would also need to a check and conversion of the text into the proper encoding format upon display of the text on the website and rss feed. It would be nice if the code can convert known invalid MS Word characters into a standard format that is compatible. For example, Word uses different quote and dash characters that should be converted into standard quotes and dash characters instead of just discarding them.
Looking for someone that already has similar experience. Please include your relevant experience in your bid.

I need someone that is familiar with video stream website. You must know how conversions work and very good with PHP/MYSQL. I need someone to debug some issues on my website which my previous coder did not complete doing. I will need a daily follow up of progress and expect problems to be explained in details. I have 2 servers running linux OS and use SSH connection to manage them. My website and videos are loaded on these servers and I also use Amazon S3. PLEASE be familiar and comfortable with troublshooting Linux OS and PHP/MYSQL issues related with the website. If you are not good with Linux and just good with PHP/MYSQL, do not bid.

1) Extracts 30 seconds from the middle of a video file (if total duration is more than 2 minutes) using ffmpeg. No need for an uploader or anything, just use a sample video.
2) Upload the cropped video remotely to http://tinyurl.com/cfq6ce (using our premium account details) with title = “sample”, description = “sample”, tags = “sample” and category = “entertainment” and select the “private” video display option.
3) Output the embedded code after completion.
We will implement this into our website, and so do not worry about design, databases, etc. We just want working proof.
