Elgg Modifications Plugins

Do you know how to work on elgg? create a plugin? Edit themes? If not do not respond to this request.
I need the following things:
1. edit group page layout.
2. hide group description if not a member of the group
3. create group status icon that can be changed by clicking a radio button and click submit – notify members of status change.
4. create a comment box on groups
Please provide copy of sites you have done using elgg or you will be deleted from bidding.
