Details:
1. Optimize site to 1024 x 768
2. The Index page will feature a large promotional Flash area wherein announcements and promotions are featured. Visitors can easily navigate through the Flash

Then the next page is where I want the work done. Basicly what I am looking for is to:

1) create a more professional looking website using the same/similar color scheme. I want the appearance to look much more professional. You need to propose graphic ideas to enhance appearance & font changes to improve the look. I like how it is now but it needs something to give it a boost visually.

2) The black background… I want this changed to a different color that will make the site look better.

3) The background is also occupying too much of the screen. What I would like done is have the white table longer at top & bottom, so that the white is all you see top and bottom, but still have the new background color on the sides, then enlarge the blue area in the middle which will allow all the text to be completely viewable so we can eliminate the scrolling in the blue area.

3) Under the “Videos” tab, I need to be able to display an unlimited amount of youtube videos. It needs to be easy for me to copy a youtube link and paste it in the code so that viewers can click on a video and watch it on my site. It would also be preferable that the viewer be able to watch it on full screen mode if they choose to.

4) My name is at the top of the page “Davyn Arscott – Comedian.” This needs to be a different font or even made into a logo of some sort so that when you see it, it jumps out at you and the image of the logo must say: “professional, artistic, funny, confident.” The little logo to the left of my name can be deleted.

5) On each side of the middle table I want to be able to easily post banners for other companies. Notes need to be placed in the code so that I can easily see where the banner goes and if I want to change them then I can easily do so.

6) In all the tabs, I want to be able to insert links… for some reason I can’t insert a hyperlink.

7) On the “Calendar” tab, I need a calendar in month format. The viewer will be able to view the current month, past months, and future months. They should be able to click on a day and that day will expand to show all details. This calendar should be easy for me to add/edit/delete events. The information I will be displaying in the calendar will be mostly text with a couple links.

Facebook has a logo with a hypelink embedded to take the viewer to my facebook page… I want this facebook logo on the main page close to my name, so that if someone is browsing my site, the logo is always there on every page.

9) The pictures that change on the bottom right must be easily changable. I want to be able to add and change pictures by simply uploading them to my ftp and putting them in a designated folder.

10) Directions: I need a note document saved to my ftp that shows the paths & instructions for editing anything that I am requesting… for example, how to change the pictures that are being rotated on the bottom right, or how to edit the calendar…. in other words I don’t want to have to contact you months later because I can’t edit something easily.

Need someone who is familiar with VC++ programming on a source code for a web browser toolbar. Need modifications on my code that will allow new gadgets to be moved around easily within the menus and submenus, maybe a drag and drop if possible. I would like the gadgets to also be easily modified in the admin panel and include a header on top of them that will allow the actual gadget to be moved easily around the screen, with a “close” gadget button on the header. The current gadgets have no header so they cannot be moved. Other options can be discussed but not necessary to complete the job. This would be similar to the Conduit toolbar.

I would like someone to write me two php scripts.

The first script will take a tab delimited file that has headers and create the code to create a MySQL table for me using the headers as field names, with all fields default varchar(20).

I want variables created so that I can easily change the location of the file used, and the default field type.

I want the program to default to using all the headers as field names, but, I also want the option to select field names which I can pass on in a function.

For example, if I want the following headers used as field names in the MySQL database to be created, I would write something like this:

selectfields(ProductID, ProductName, Category);

The second script will take a tab-delimited file and insert selected fields into my mysql database.

Other functions of the script include:
I want the script to delete all the rows in the table first before inserting.
I would like this written in such a way that I can comment this part out easily in case I don’t want to delete all the rows in the table.

I want to be able to change one variable to select the number of rows that are read in. Please comment this in the program and make it easy to change, maybe putting it at the top of the program.

I mentioned that I only want selected fields to be inserted. However, I want the script written in such a way that I can add more fields easily if I choose to. Please make comments in the script on where and how to add the fields.

I don’t know if this matters or not, but, the script has to be able to read the product feed from a subdomain of mine. Please write the program so that it is easy to change the location of the product feed.

The script has to be usable by a cron scheduler.

I use MySQL 5 and PHP 5.2.

I will provide a test directory and database for you to work on. You will only have ftp access.

I will consider the script complete when I can run the cron scheduler on your script and it loads the data successfully into my test database. I agree to pay within 2 days after finding that the script works properly. I put 2 days just for contractual purposes in case something comes up, but, I will pay immediately (within minutes or hours) after I find it works successfully.

About the script.

I am not going to give out too many details in public. I am only going to give out the required info that will allow you to see if you can complete this project or not.

I am looking for something similar to a Cookie Stuffing Script. However instead of cookie stuffing what it is doing is implanting either a cookie or implanting fake offline html data that allows My Banner Ads to be showed on the sites I specify when making the cookie/fake offline html data.

I am not sure if it is dealing with cookies or fake offline data. However I do know this can be done as I talked to a few of my friends who are programmers and they could do it. But do not have the time to do so.

The process will need to be able to be done via a Web script that doesn’t require heavy html or php knowledge to use. The script user will need to be easily able to make this and then be able to easily add it to their site. So that it works on their visitors.

The script will need to be encoded by IonCube.

Things like Site rotation need to be built in. So that sites aren’t constantly being used and the ads are spread over many defined sites.

Also the ads will need to fit into the sites so that it does not look totally fake.

I am looking to have an interactive wall created for users to update as well as their friends.

I started building this project myself using Flex specifically with the Object Handles library with the database through mysql, but I do not currently have time to work on this full time and want to get it done.

Even though I have started it myself I would like this to be started from scratch in case you have a better programming language/setup to perform this in.

The user should be able to create an account, login, and have a blank pallette in front of them to work with. They should be able to add text, pictures, video, RSS feeds, Twitter feeds, etc. to their wall.
They should be able to easily resize text, pics, vid, etc buy simply dragging it to resize.

The user should be able to easily edit the text by simply clicking on it.

The user should also be able to easily change the color and font of the text. The images should maintain their aspect ratio as they are being resized.

The user then has the ability to accept and request friends like a facebook or myspace. The user can determine what type of access to give the friend. This should be very simple and straight forward as this should be a site for all to use. A friend can have access to simply just view the wall, add comments, and/or add text/images/vids of their own.

More than likely the wall will become cluttered over time which some may actually like as the wall could really end up resembling their own personal lifestyle, but for those that want a cleaner look, but don’t necessarily want to delete their content to make space they can have the option of fading content to the back either manually or with a timeline.

Manually is self explanatory, but with the timeline it would allow the user to only display their newer content, but with a simple slide of the timeline then older content would appear.

This is the basic idea of the site and there should be areas to view friends, mutual friends, send messages, etc. like facebook.

I have a table/sheet in Excel I need to import into a database so I can work with it more efficiently. IU will have a # of ongoing add’l tasks once this is done as I have a lot of work to do after that (integrate/compare/relate to other tables mostly).

In a nutshell I have a main column which is set up as a hiearchy of data e.g
Group1
Group1.1
Group 1.1.1
Group2
Group 2.1
Group 2.1.1
Group 2.1.2
Group 2.1.2.1

etc.

except it was not #d as such, just done with indents. I have previously been able to get scripts that parse indents as levels so I know that can work.

So the first step would be simply to pull into a table where I can collapse/expand levels so I can simply *see* my data better.

I’d also like to easily be able to;
1) Add new data to any level and or change that level/indent/hierarchy easily

2) Move any given record up/down a level w or w/o it’s children.

Finally, because many records were supposed to belong to more then one hierarchy and I was using Excel, I made a column called ‘Add’ Parents’ where I would simply name the add’l assignment e.g. Group 1.2.1 might be assigned to Group 4.2.1.1 (again I did not name like this i.e. #s)

In a real db then that record would appear under both e.g
Group 1.2
Group 1.2.1
Group 4.2.1.1
Group 1.2.1

I’d like there for tthat column do do just that, to retain the values (so I can remove the re-asignemnt if I want) but also to appear where re-assigned.

There are a # of other columns which for now should simply travel with that record and keep their values which won’t be used for anything until subsequent tasks.

I can provide a sample of data if necessary, pretty straightforward though I just want to be able to work with what has become unwieldy (3,000 records, many indents, many add’l assignments) more easily and efficeintly, as i say more tasks to come.

For example: Let’s say I configured a L98 5.7L v8 350 for a 1990 Camaro Z28 and I am currently configuring a 1992 Z28. It uses the same engine so I can easily just toggle that as the engine for this as well.. or.. perhaps configured a Power Seat for a specific year. Well rather than make another Power seat for the other days, I would easily just choose that out of the list of all previously added.. Likely there would have to be seperate admin panels for some of these pages as we can’t have 1 GIGANTIC admin panel especially when it’s listing all colors, trans, engines, options, etc.. Setting a default thumbnail. Ability to easily add a new YEAR, or MODEL, or VARIATION for future Camaro years.

I am looking for a site very similar to fmylife or other sites with user generated content. The only main difference is that I want to only allows submissions with a very specific number of words. All submissions must be submitted with the option for us to edit and approve each. After approval, we would like the submissions to be automatically posted.

Users must also be able to register for their own account and view their past postings, etc. Similarly, authors should be searchable and have all their postings displayed when their name is clicked on.

We should have the ability to add and delete posts easily. Also, we should have the ability to adjust keywords easily.

Only programmers with relevant experience and a thorough understanding of what is involved with the development of a site like fmylife should apply.

I have a strong vision for what I want to site to look like and how I want it to operate, but also want the flexibility to adjust it easily as it grows.

My client needs to have a custom WordPress blog template created from an existing template. The existing template is the Partnerprogramm template here:

We need to have the Partnerprogramm template customized so that there are ad placement areas on the top and on the left and right columns – the SAME ADS that are shown in the same areas of http://northshorelinks.com/ (so we can have the same ads running at all times on all pages of the site, including the blogs).

So, above the existing banner at the top of the Partnerprogramm template, we need space for two banners – the same sizes as the ones at the top of NorthshoreLinks.com: an 800 x 80 pixel banner at the very top, then a space of 5 pixels, and then an 800 x 65 pixel banner. Just below (5-7 pixels below) that second banner would be the existing banner in the blog template (middle.gif, which is 900 x 150 pixels).

Then, in the left column, starting at the top (level with the first blog post), we need a column of ads. All the ads in the left column would be the same size as the ads in the left column of NorthshoreLinks.com (154 x 117 pixels). We need to be able to easily post as many ads as needed in this area (up to 15), but we DON’T want anything like an ad placeholder showing up if we have fewer than 15 ads posted.

The right column of ads would start at the top of the right column, level with the first blog post. (Everything currently in the right column would start below the ads.) All the right-column ads would be sized 194 x 131 pixels. We also need to be able to easily post as many ads as needed in this area (up to 15), but we DON’T want anything like an ad placeholder showing up if we have fewer than 15 ads posted.

All ads in the left and right columns would need a space of 12 pixels between them. We also need good-looking spacing everywhere in this template. We may need to request multiple adjustments in spacing before this project is accepted – to make sure the template looks good.

EXTRA FEATURE #1:
Since we have 10 blogs that are part of NorthshoreLinks.com (and all the ads on all the blogs will be the same), and we’d rather not have to change all the ads separately on every blog, if there is a way to create a folder/page that can be imported into all the blogs (like an ‘includes’ page, with all the ad images in a folder, that would automatically update the ads on the all the blogs), that would be very helpful.

EXTRA FEATURE #2
It would also be nice if we could add the main menu of NorthshoreLinks.com to the left column of the blog template, below the ads in the left column (where this would also be something like an ‘includes’ page that we could easily update by pasting it into all the blog folders whenever there is a change to the main menu of the site).

We’d need to have this done by a designer whose work looks polished and well-done (by American standards), without having to go back and forth after the design is submitted – to make the thing look ‘finished’. We want it to look very professional and will not accept a design that looks crappy. We’ve seen work done by great coders that is fully functional, but which does NOT look polished or stylish when complete. So design is just as important as functionality here.

We need this template to look great (with no botches), and we need it to be fully functional and EASY to update.

The PHP form script you create can be based on a free GPL form script that’s easily configurable (with all the standard options that such script usually have) and must be secure. I have various websites. Whenever I need to update these sites with a new page etc or image etc, I have to log into the site individually which is not very convenient.
