I have an excel spreadsheet that has prospect data. It will list the prospect many times based on how many policy types the prospect has. What I need to do is merge the data together based on the prospect name and have the policy type, expiration date, premium, company, producer and status from each row become 1 record per prospect. The best thing to do is look at the attached example. The first tab is the original and teh second is what I want it to look like. this is a sample of the spreadsheet. The actual one has over 3200 records total.

I’m running a very large PostgreSQL database. At some point in the past a developer created a duplicate removal script for me. Problem is I have no documentation telling me what it does. I only have a link from where I can run this scriopt. I haven’t needed to use it in a very long time but recently uploaded new records to the database. I started the script running and removed what it determined to be duplicate records.

The problem is I don’t really know what logic it is using to determine if something is a duplicate. Fields were added to the database after the development of this script. Likely it does not account for these in determining what is a duplicate. I’m concerned running this will remove records that are not duplicates but have some fields in common. As I mentioned I started the script and after it ran for many hours I stopped it and checked the count. Many records were removed but I’m not sure what records. I do know there are duplicates in the database so likely it did fine.

The job is only for someone to locate the script on the server and write something explaining what this script is doing. I’m not asking to have it modified as that will be a seperate job. For now I just would like to know exactly what it is set to do. As stated, I have the link to run it but don’t see the script. You will need to find it.

Explanation of products page;

The website need to be the same structure; which means
groups / products

But ubnt.com website has different pages for many products. For example;
http://ubnt.com/basestation
http://ubnt.com/airmax
http://ubnt.com/airrouter
etc… are all different designs.

We want that each page will be in this format;

http://ubnt.com/nanostation

(I repeat that you need to use HTML compatible fonts)

Here our template will be;
product name on left upper corner.
product description on the bottom of product name
product image on right upper corner
and RTF information below.
On the very bottom area, we need to be able to add more photos of the products, and when you click on thumbnail, the bigsize will be opened on a lightbox. (there is no lightbox example in the website, you can use a convenient one..)

If there are some documents for the product, we can download it from the left menu.

Of course, we need a product editing console for it, we can modify groups, and we can modify products.

We dont ask you to enter all the product details from ubnt website. Its enough to prepare just 2-3 sample pages. But you need to enter all groups and productnames. We will enter the product details ourselves, using the console.

Please check the mainpage, you will see how the background image and the all site is centered. This is not a must, but if you can make the same, we prefer.

Its very important that the website is working same way on different browsers as IE, Chrome, Firefox, Mac Safari, Mac IE…

Also, to be able to see the website working on mobile devices, you need to open menus on “onclick”, “onmouseover” should not be used.
