I have had a custom Joomla template built. The template itself is more or less complete, however the drop down menus do not function correctly in IE9 (not sure about lower versions of IE). When viewed in IE9, the menus appear, and drop down when hovered over, but disappear when you move the mouse down over the menu.

I have an existing site built with WordPress and would like the 2 menus in the left sidebar to be displayed as drop down menus. I have quite a few selections in each menu and they are becoming too long. I will be adding more selections to each one so the way they are populated now will need to remain as it is.

1. (2)Drop down search box and Login (Register link)
2. (2) Side Box (When user hovers the mouse over the button, the box opens) to allow users to Login into account. (Register Link)
3. (1) Popup box When a user wants to leave a comment, or after a user places a vote. The popup box should be done in java or flash. The box should replace the existing comment page.

This is a relatively simple project for someone who knows what they are doing. I currently have a navigation menu setup; however, I would like to give it drop down functionality. The drop down menu links are not appearing when I hover over them. I have links under “projects”. When I activate a custom module I made for the background rotation it breaks the links and they don’t appear. If I turn the module off the drop down links do work.

Also I need the gray box on the right side removed from the home page.

See the attachment. There are three drop-down menus. I want the first one next to “Major Concentration Field”. Second one at next to “Concentration Courses” and third one at “Concentration Courses”. I have a html template already coded. I need two things implemented.

1) a drop down menu. I have attached mockup of drop down menu. It needs to be coded with UL/LI list. CSS only would be preferred for quick loading times. The drop down menu should work on all links and will have two sub levels.

2) image fader / rotater. I want to have the large photo change pictures every 4 seconds. It should fade to the next photo. Each photo will go to a specific link when clicked.
