Fix drop down menu to be compatible with IE6

Works fine with all other browsers.

Need a quick fix.

Basically I need the menu to function and appear just like it does, however:

1) If a menu has already been shown and the user rolls over to the next the menu, the original menu should not hide and then re-appear it should just change (really it just needs to be user friendly, but I don’t like how it currently moves the content up and down so quickly). Maybe we could make it scroll up and then the new one appear, but I don’t want the possibility of more than one showing.

2) If a user were to roll over the first 3 icons quickly and the menus appear quickly as well… I need to ensure that only 1 menu is being shown or can be shown at the same time. The display needs to reset so that only one shows and that none are showing if one isn’t hovered over. The active class (where its orange) should also only be set for one of the icons at any given time.

3) After a menu has been shown, if you roll over one of the icons that doesn’t have a menu, the menu does not go away as it should.

Please post in the PMB to let us know you have read this and understand my requirements.

The script is written in jQuery currently, and I would prefer it to be kept that way unless you write it without the need of a library at all.

Please post in the PMB for additional information on what exactly will be required. US programmer preferred. Must have excellent communications skills, be responsive, and be available for additional JS work in the near future.

This is a simple task for someone who knows website design. I’ve designed a website with css/html and looks great in firefox and safari. The vertical drop down menus don’t work in explorer. I need someone to create a css drop down menu for me similar to the one on (tar get .com). If you visit that website and hover over one of the links in the top navigation you will see what I mean. I need something like that developed in pure css. Please see the image attached.
