If you view it in IE, you will see how the page is broken and the div is mainly hidden but creating a large white space. We need someone to upgrade the star rating javascript AJAX code we use for bid and project rating.

Take a look at the attached HTML file. You can also see the code in action on your projects page (to rate projects you bid on).

There are 3 changes to make:

1. Simplify the star HTML. Instead of those 5 image tags, each with id/onmouseover/onmouseout/onclick, have one simple div tag.

Like: <div class=”rateit” id=”rateit-X-Y-Z”></div> or <div class=”rateit” id=”rateit” rate-id=X rating-amount=Y></div>

Can that be done easily?

2. The code should work globally for any image file and any number of them. e.g. instead of 5 stars using rate_redstar.png/rate_star.png/rate_greystar.png calling project_rate.cgi, we might want to use it for 3 stars using different images, calling a different script.

So in the above DIV example, X would be the id of particular settings (defined on the page one time). One setting (X=1) could be for the normal 5 star system, another (X=2) for 3 stars with different images, etc, etc.

3. Add a popup text field when user clicks a star. The text field will allow user to submit a note/description with the rating. By this point the rating will already be submitted, so the note will submit as a separate AJAX call.

-It should look something like the text box that appears under a Facebook like button (see https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/).
-Our popup should also close if user clicks outside the popup, or clicks a “close” link.
-onsubmit, AJAX should return any error message under the text field, otherwise replace the text field with a success message, then close the popup after a few seconds (similar to SL’s quick reply popup).
-After successful submit, the text should appear in another div tag that might be on the page: <div id=”ratingtext-1234″></div>
-the text field can be turned off if not needed.

We need to scrape a wordlist and have it delivered in XML format.

The format is very simple:

<div class=”word”><span class=”m”>a</span>bborre</div>

In this case the words are “abbe” “abbedissa” and “abborre”.

The only thing that needs a little work is the fact that the search form caps the results at around 500 entries. So if you enter “A” in the search field. It will say “Found 1200 words” but you will only see the first 500 on screen.

The solution is to simply query letter several times with a min-max lenght entered at the page. So first query it will ask for words beginning with “A” 0-4 characters. That will give maybe 100 words. Then 5-9 characters 10-15 etc.

Need to show external URLs that people click on from either inside a div that shows an external page or from an iframe that shows an external page. Any method would be considered.

Inside an iframe or a div I need to show which url is being clicked on, so people can copy it into an email or remember the link.

To sum it up:
1. open an external page inside an iframe or inside a div, such as: http://realestate.yahoo.com as an example.

2. whatever link someone clicks on inside that iframe or div I’d like to show the url they are on. Reason: I’d like to allow people to save that url so they can eventually email it or refer back to it or being able to copy it. I know when you right click inside an iframe you get the url of a link you point the mouse on from inside an iframe, but these are EXTERNAL sites so any way to ECHO that data into a field somehow?

Please know that this project has been tried by other programmers and unfortunately it seems it is not possible to show URLs from inside an iframe once it is an external site. However, when we right click, we do see the URL from the properties, so any possible way to get that data?
