Payment Button Integration

November 24th, 2009

Hello, I have a website with a members area that was set up by a programmer to include a registration page, login page and a secure members area. Payments are set up through paypal, as soon as payment is done customers are re-directed to registration page which only gives access when they’re transferred from the paypal page or else re-directs them to another page, so that not just anyone can register on the site without paying.

Now I am using www.paydotcom.com which will manage my affiliates and I need to integrate their button for them to be able to track my affiliates, calculate and pay their commission. I have a section to enter the variables and/or settings for that button and I am already provided with the button according to the settings I have entered. Their button redirects customers to paypal, from where they make the payment, and then redirects them to a ‘thank you URL’ which I set as the registration page.

Now if I test the paydotcom button I am properly re-directed to paypal and can make the payment. But after the payment is done, if I try to return to my site to register, it re-directs me to the main page. Even after I made a payment, I tried entering the registration page URL in my address bar, and I am re-directed to the main page again.

Now I have minimal php knowledgde as I built the site in html, and all of the pages used for the secure members area are in php.

But I can tell that its a problem with the coding in the registration page as I am re-directed to paypal and can make the payment for the right product (my site) but I am not re-directed to the registration page which is not giving me access since I’m not transferred directly from paypal anymore.

I need someone to fix that for me. I will give you access to my paydotcom account as well as my host so that you can see all of the files and coding for the members area on my host as well as the settings entered in my paydotcom account. It shouldn’t take long as everything is already set up, I just need the code that validates access to customers to be modified. I think that should fix it.

Seilings Floors

September 17th, 2009

I have a very large project that I need completed. The person who will get this job needs to know how to do a squeeze page (with video), then another page with video and a long sales page attached. The customer will be able to order the product, then they will be directed to another page that accepts their contact and billing information. After they order the item, they will be directed to another page called an OTO (One time offer), they will either accept or decline the offer, then depending on what they do, they will either be directed to a more expensive item to purchase (if they say yes), or they will be directed to a less expensive item to purchase (if they say no). This process happens 3-4 times, depending on what they purchase. Then they will be directed to a Thank You page with options to change what they will purchase. The customer will always have complete control as to what they do or do not buy. This part of the process I think will be the most difficult as it changes depending on every customers needs/wants.
For a quick overview as to what the beginning process is go to: startapreschool.com and go through the process of putting your name and email in the form, then see what the next page is. That is basically what I want to do along with a lot of other things.
Now this is not a regular website, as there is no home page, or any other pages that branch from it. It’s basically just a sales process from start to finish.
Overview: I offer the person a chance to see a free video, when they put their name and email address in, then it directs them to another page that shows the free video, and underneath that video is a long sales letter telling them how to get their free DVD, they just have to pay shipping. When they click on that, then it goes to a page collects their address and billing information, when they click on that to okay it, it sends them to another page that is called the OTO (one time offer), and I offer them another product. If they say yes, it adds it to their shopping cart, if they say no, then it doesn’t, but either way it sends them to a different page that tries to sell them something else. If they said yes, they go to another page that tries to sell a more expensive item, if they say no, it sends them to a page that tries to sell them a less expensive item. This happens about 3-4 times either direction they go and there is a different product for each direction. When they are done, they see their final purchases on the Thank You page and then I send them their first video that they signed up for when they bought the free DVD (they only had to pay shipping). Hopefully this all makes sense. I have drawn up the pages and if you accept this, I will scan them into the computer and send them to you so you have a better idea on what is going on. Only accept this if you know what I’m talking about and you are able to do all of the things described. It is a large project and I know it will take a while to complete, that is why I am realizing that it will not be cheap. My max and min bids are below.
Thanks for everyone that puts their bid in. Please put “Seiling” in the return reply so I know you have actually read these details, or I will not choose your bid. I have most of the buttons and headers/graphics that I want to use, but not all of them. I will supply them to you if you are accepted. Thanks.

the Admin Control Panel.

table. The members will be able to add up to 4 links. So
the Member links should be numbered 1 through 4.
