1. a clean interface
2. ability to search localized english/spanish database words
3. ad rotator
4. The BIGGEST FEATURE: ability to purchase audio/video files within
the app. This feature needs to be integrated with my merchant account
5. A media/video/audio player function inside the app but the media/audio/vide
that is downloaded from the app should also be able to be played outside the
app if chosen.

So basically users will download a Spanish/English translator dictionary and
once inside they will have the ability to purchase audio/video files.

In this project – there is a Dictionary which is used as the main data structure and records details about custom hardware connected to the serial port.

The serial port is used to interrogate the hardware, and when a device responds with it’s serial number and addresss, it is added to the Dictionary.

Devices respond when interrogated ( either individually or in groups ).

The devices each have a unique serial number – duplicate serial numbers are not permitted.

The Dictionary is filled by polling for devices and may take several seconds or even minutes to complete depending on the scale of the connected device hardware.

The dictionary only contains basic information about the connected devices. Once a device has been added to the dictionary, a device object is created that can then be used to represent the real device and additional device properties are set by subsequent serial port requests.

Two important properties assigned to the devices are the AREA and ZONE values that determine how the devices function as part of the system.

These properties are stored in the actual physical device and retrieved as a numeric value when requested.

The most recent project created datagridviews which allowed the user to assign names to these properties. These names are held only on the PC running the application and NOT in the physical device.

Stage 1 is to Save and restore the Dictionary to disk, alongside the Area / Zone Name tables.

It should be possible to save and load this data as a single ( XML?) file. ( ZONE/AREA naming) + (DEVICEDICTIONARY).

At some point other data may need to be stored in this file.

File structure open for suggestions.

Optional if not difficult: It should be possible to save / restore the data types separately if needed – (eg. ZONE/AREA naming as a separate file ).

C++ Write a program to manage a dictionary.
Your dictionary should be stored on text file named diction.txt and consist of an alphabetized list of words,one per line. When a user enters a word, scan the dictionary looking for the word. If the word is in the dictionary, say so. If not, display the dictionary word immediately preceding and the word immediately following so the user can wants to add this new word to this dictionary. If the answer is yes,do so and go back to request the next word.
To insert a word into a file in alphabetical order, simply copy the file to a new, temporary file back to the original file, inserting the new word when you reach its correct position alphabetically.

Hi, I am looking for a script that is similar to one somebody has actually done in the past on scriptlance. It is a Rhyming dictionary script that works like www.rhymezone.com. I want to be able to incorporate the script into my site design as a function for my customers as my site is aimed at card makers. I will need complete instructions on how to install it as I am definitely a newbie and would like the form itself to appear in a zen cart category page. The service will be free for my visitors and not require a login. Ideally I would like the results to come from Rhymezone.com and I will then credit them on the page, so that I don’t need to update it myself. I don’t know if this will be possible or not, but I already have the html for the form which was provided from the Rhymezone website. As it works now the search function opens a new window taking people to their site whereas I would like the results to show up on my site.

To be honest I don’t know if I need a PHP, Javascript or some other type, as I don’t know anything about doing this kind of thing. My server has cpanel 11 which has php, mysql, perl module and a cgi center if this helps.

Hi, I am looking for a coder with experience in Android apps, maybe Flashlite. I basically need:

A flashcard/dictionary app with language pairs.
The dictionary results are shown automatically as user types (or using soft keyboard).
Browse function has language pairs and categories (e.g. Food, Verbs, etc.)

This dictionary tool has a search history (of viewed entries) for each language pair.
In the flashcard tool,
a. categories (these show Previous Score next to them) or
b. the search history is used for 1. Quiz Mode – answers are entered (using soft keyboard – international layouts) and scored. Errors are shown before next question.
2. Flashcard Mode – 1st side and then 2nd side is shown after 5 seconds.
ALSO, searches can be reviewed and temporarily removed (one or multiple). The removed searches can be used in Quiz Mode or Flashcard Mode.

The flashcard source should be maybe csv format. Support for images would also be good.

On the bottom are pages. But not working. Need to fix it.
The same is when you enter a croatian word:

2. When you searching for an english word in results, words are in alphabetic order :

3. The dictionary have 5 categories. On index I need a drop down menu when you can chose a category for searching.

4. Problem with croatian signs “č” and “c”. When you enter a word “čep” (from Croatian >> English), in result is need to be only words with letters “čep”, but not “cep”.
When you enter a word “cep” then in results is need to be words with letters “čep” also. That is now and that is ok.

- On index page will need to be a place for entering a word and then option for translate a word from English>>Croatian and Croatian>>English. Also, a drop down menu with categories.
- If some word exist in more then one category then in results will need to display a category name and bellow the words. That will be if user search all categories from once.
- If some word that user enter will not have a translate word, then this word is need to be placed somewhere in archive where I can later translate it and add it to the database.

Create a program that consists the following three Java classes (Dictionary, Scramble, Game). The Dictionary class must have a method getNextWord() which will return a new word each time it is invoked. The Scramble class will have a method jumbleWord() which will take an unscrambled String word as an argument and return a scrambled String as the return value. We would like the entire list of words and the phonetic alphabet of words from dictionary.com. This includes all words and its plural or adverb form, etc.

For instance, the word “law” must include the following:

law
laws
lawed
lawing

We need this information in a .txt (notepad) file with each word on a separate line. We need the entire dictionary. If we like your work, then we will continue on to other dictionary word list in other languages in separate projects.

I have a cgi script that I would like to have modified.

1) It is an English/Chinese dictionary
2) The database is just a text file on the server
3) The database has up to 4 fields.

Example:

FIELD1 FIELD2 [FIELD3] /FIELD4/

4) We want to change the script to just have 2 fields:
[FIELD1] /FIELD2/

as we try to change our Chinese/dictionary in an English/Indo dictionary that only requires two fields.

5) We need the database entry from [FIELD1] /FIELD2/ to show up in the meta titles.

This is not our site but the structure is the same.

For someone experienced in Cgi it should only take a fw minutes as two fields have to be removed in the script and the 2 field arrays to be added to the meta tags.
