I am looking to integrate a refer a friend system into our ecommerce site. The site is built on ZenCart. Currently there is a refer a friend mod that is available for install, but it doesn’t fit our needs. I would like to have a page on our site where a customer can enter their friends email address and then our system will send them an email indicating it was from them recommending our site.

In addition to that page we would like to have a spot on our checkout page where a customer can enter a friends email address indicating that they were referred to our store by them. When they enter their friends email address they will be given a discount on their purchase and their friend will receive a deposit/gift certificate that they will be able to use to make future purchases at our store.

Conditions of the deposit:
The deposit will occur 60 days after the date of the purchase when they received the referral.
The referrals shipping status must be set to a the correct status in order to get the gift.
The billing or shipping address of the two associated emails (referrer and Purchaser) cannot be the same.
When their friend who they referred makes a purchase, the person should be notified that they have a pending deposit. When the deposit is made the recipient should receive another email indicating that money was deposited in their account and is available to spend.

On the admin side, we will need to have control over the commission amount and coupon amount and be able to look up accounts if we need to see history.

We currently have the gift certificate module installed. I think that this will be extremely helpful to complete the task. Most of the work is done, it just needs to be integrated to receive deposits with the conditions stated above.

Client:

Registeration/Signup:
The client side will reqiure a secured registeration/signup. Clients must signin/Login with username and password on secured page. Client must use on-screen keybord for passwords during registration/signup. Client will have to create 2 passwords at the time of registration. Information required from client during registeration will include the following:

First Name
Last Name
Date of birth {dd/mm/yyyy}
email address
phone number
website* optional*
Contact Address{city, state, country}
Login password
withdrawal password

The above will be required during registeration. Numeric Username will be generated for each registered client and a copy delivered to the client email address.

Login/Signin:
Clients will use the login password and email address or numeric username to sign in. Once logged the page will automatically signout within 10mins of idleness. The login password must be typed with onscreen keybord using the cusor or pointer only. Client can perform the following option from their account:

1. Deposit
2. Withdraw
3. Send (P2P)
4. Edit
5. Summary

I have a tattoo studio that is in need of online appointment setting. I will try to explain what I am after to the best of my ability. The registered user will log in to the main site, after which they will have the ability to set an appointment. The user would start by selecting what type of appointment they want, tattoo, body modification, piercing (admin would need to be able to create several different types or appointments). Once the type of appointment is selected a list of artist that can do that type of work would be displayed. The user would pick their artist and then see a calendar displaying the current month and show what days that artist is available. The user would then select a day and see what times the artist has available on that day. The user could then select a time slot. After the time is selected we need to display a conformation page, and require a deposit if the admin has requested so. Once the user has confirmed the appointment date and time and made the deposit if so required then an email will be sent to both the user and the artist showing the date and time along with any deposit made.

Backend:

The admin needs the ability to have full control over all aspects. Only the admin has the ability to define the appointment types, deposit requirements (as in, if a user is not required to put down a deposit and amounts of deposits), which artist can do what type of work (tattoo, body modifications, piercings, etc…) and who the artist are. The artists need to be able to, upon log-in to the main site, see their calendar in a month, week, or day view displaying all appointments that have been confirmed by the artist. They also need to be able to see any request that have been sent over from the website and have the ability to either accept them or decline them (might have an issue with deposits here). They need the ability to use this calendar as their one and only calendar, so they will need to be able to add walk in appointments also. The ability to print the calendar in month, week, day view would be nice but not required. The front desk assistant would need access to schedule appointment for the artist also, not sure exactly how this would work.

I think I’ve covered it all, but if you have any ideas, they’re welcome.

Background:

Introduction:
How the “follow gambler” concept should work….
The new user deposit an amount (from 10$ to 1000$) to a depot on the site. The user can then choose how much a “Unit” is (1$ to 100$). The user can choose to follow any other user (refered to as “gambler”). It is the gambler who decides how many units to be played (from 1 to 10).

Betting strategy…
At the gamblers page, bets will be registrered – each game needs to be registered min. 2 days in advance. 1 day prior to the match begins, the followers are still allowed to abandon the specific bet.
After that period of time, the game is “locked” and the followers depots will be deduced with the correct unit amount. The bet can now be placed at the best betsite.
When the match is done, the Administrator will update the match with the actual result – after the result update, all followers will have their depots updated.

E-mail notifications:
When the gambler makes a bet, the followers should receive an email with an overview of the match (playing teams, odds, match time, gamblers-comments to the match, basic stats) – plus a visible option to “refuse to follow this match”. This will allow the followers to easily abandon the specific bet.
When a match is ended and the final result is ready, an email should be sent out to all the followers with the finial result + earnings/loss and total amount avivable in the users depot.

Roles at the site:
3 different user roles are defined:

Introduction:
How the “follow gambler” should work….
The new user deposit an amount (from 10$ to 1000$) to a depot on the site. The user can then choose how much a “Unit” is (1$ to 100$). The user can choose to follow any other user (refered to as “gambler”). It is the gambler who decides how many units to be played (from 1 to 10).
Example: A gambler bets 3-units on away win for Man.C vs. Bolton – this will automatically have all his followers to bet 3 units – meaning that e.g. users having 5$ as the unit, will bet 15$ on away win for Man.C vs. Bolton.

Who are the “gamblers”?
The gamblers on the site are “pro gamblers”, meaning that ordinary users cannot become gamblers. This will ensure that only skillful
gamblers are being followed. Each gambler shall have a “blog”-like area, where basic informations about the gambler, stats, images etc can be put. Further more, comments to the bets made will be posted here, allowing other users to see why this bet is good.

Depot:
A simple page with a track history for all earnings/loss’s and who the user has followed.
The users should always be allowed re-deposit his money. A small fee (configurable) will be charged for this.

Requirements:
Betting strategy…
At the gamblers page, bets will be registrered – each game needs to be registered min. 2 days in advance. 1 day prior to the game, the followers are still allowed to abandon the specific bet.
After that period of time, the game is “locked” and the followers depots will be deduced with the correct unit amount. The bet can now be placed at the best betsite.
When the match is done, the Gambler can update the match with the actual result – all followers will have their depots updated if Gambler won the bet, otherwise no depot movements will be made.

E-mail notifications:
When the gambler makes a bet, the followers should receive an email with an overview of the match (playing teams, odds, match time, gamblers-comments to the match, basic stats) – plus a very visible option to “refuse to follow this match”. This allows the followers to easily abandon the specific bet.
When a match is ended and the final result is ready, an email should be sent out to all the followers with the finial result + earnings/loss and total amount avivable in the users depot.

I need exactly ebay type functions for a new e-commerce website. In addition to the exact provisions of ebay I need additional payment systems like cash/ bank deposit.
